Georgiana Molloy Motel

I was traveling with the car sightseeing Southwest Australia and Augusta was on my way. I just needed a place to pass the night and this motel was one of the most economic in the region. Still a bit pricey for one person but for two it is perfect. You have all the amenities, rather good wifi connection, a table and a couple of chairs in the terrace, fridge, kitchen and the room was very clean. I definitely recommend this place.

The room is bright and spacious with kichenette. It is old and dusty. James is helpful or at least trying to. There is coin operated laundry and dryer. Car park is free right in front of the room. It is very close to eateries and groceries store. The problem is the worms that keep coming into the room at night. There are dozens of it. James said it is the season for them to come out. The solution is to turn off the light because these worms are attracted to light (I guess). After the light is off, only 3 worms came in from outside the room. Other than the worms, the place is ok.

Last minute booking and I arrived at 4pm. The guy had my booking and was on top of the online stuff unlike last time.|The room is immaculate and very spacious. |Value for money is 100% and more.|Location is perfect. |The one and only drama I had this time was finding the main light switch. I don’t feel like a total idiot as it’s hidden behind the key that activates it hehe! |Overall….. wonderful well equipped place.

We booked out 3 rooms for two nights and must say it was great value for money. Rooms where very clean and with basic kitchen ,microwave and crockery saved us 3 blokes with getting back late from fishing heating up meals. I would highly recommend staying at this motel. We loved the motel, our room was incredible! And the attention of the owner was exceptional ❤️ he took care of us even when we arrived very late and he is a very sweet and helpful person. The room was very well equipped, it had a big kitchen with all the utensils, fridge, big bathroom, big TV, very comfortable king bed and an additional smaller one! It even had a sofa. And at a good price! We totally recommend it!!!

Booked and stayed at room 4 for 4 people. Highly recommend to stay elsewhere. - Upon arrival, it had an overwhelming smell of mould. - We were provided with only two towels. - The bathroom door did not lock. - The toilet did not flush properly. - No aircon, just a fan. - The PowerPoints did not work. - No complimentary milk, shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. - One of the bedside table lamps didn’t work. - The parking spaces are extremely tight. - Receptionist was not very pleasant and upset that the booking was made via booking.com - Power doesn’t work unless you put your keycard in the slot, so if you go out and had food in the fridge, it would go warm. - The room is very outdated The bedsheets were clean and the beds were comfortable, and it was very quiet overnight. Location was great.

3 nights stay was very good. Just couple of things needs attention. They didn’t explain the functionality of the electricity and shower, we worked it out shortly after arriving but we had a distressed lady knocking on the door once asking she has no power in her room and poor lady came back again because she couldn’t work out how to access the shower. Little explanation at the check in desk would be helpful. That’s all.
