Great place in St Augustine, FL to enjoy an awesome lunch. My husband ordered the Classic Burger & I ordered the Turkey Bacon Wrap. Both meals came with a choice of either kringle or waffle fries and your choice of soda, tea or water to drink. You will not leave hungry. Our food portions were alot. I had to get a to- go box for half of my meal to eat later. The restaurant is a 1960 style diner. In the background you can hear Sixties Oldies music playing quietly. We didn't have to wait very long for our food. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful. This restaurant also has a good breakfast & dinner menu as well.

Google
I’d been wanting to try Georgie’s Dinner for a while, and I finally made it there this week — it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and came out quickly, and we loved being able to sit on the patio with our dog. Our server, Michele, was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and had great suggestions that we ended up trying and loving. I’ll definitely be going back!

Green Chili in Florida!!! My whole year was made! Everything was phenomenal but I’ve missed Green Chili since leaving CO and this is the first time in years I’ve come across it! It was authentic and served with an amazing tortilla. I even took a bowl home. Thank you!!!!

Google

Google
Throwback experience at a diner straight out of Happy Days in town. Good basic breakfast fare. Nothing fancy. Good value. Super friendly staff. Fast food delivery to the table. Excellent biscuits. They grill them for a neat crust. I saw they had mimosas. Coffee could have been a little stronger.

Google
Great local diner with a friendly staff and great food! Went in this morning early before it got packed. Was greeted right away and had my coffee in literally one minute. Michelle took my order and I had my breakfast hot and ready within about 5 minutes. My Eggs Benedict and hash browns were cooked perfectly and really hit the spot. Eat Local! Florida Man Approved!

Google
Diner food with a twist! So absolutely yummy!! Will be back again and again. Staff is friendly and quick with service. Can't beat Georgie's Diner when it comes to breakfast downtown.

Google
Georgie’s Diner is one of the most amazing experiences I ever had. I was on a vacation to St. Augustine with my husband and we happened to just pick this place to eat. As soon as you walk in everyone says good morning. The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the country fried steak and gravy with a biscuit and eggs. The biscuits are the best homemade ever. The diner is very clean, the workers here bust their butts to keep everyone happy! 10/10 for service , food, and the atmosphere. For all you YouTubers out there that love to post about food places, THIS IS THE SPOT!!!! We even went a second time before we left to go home. Even better the more times you go! Good job Georgie’s!

Yelp
Late breakfast at Georgie's. They have their own parking lot which is convenient. Today I'm having a waffle. Wife a western omelette. 2 in the afternoon plenty of seats.

Laurie Y.

Yelp
Best diner ever! Food is great, and the service was top notch! Brand new inside! Loved it!

Debra S.

Yelp
Finally made to Georgie's for dinner! After three plus years of fantastic breakfasts and lunches we decided to give dinner a try. It's a local hack for dinner during the crazy Night of Lights in downtown St Augustine. We love the classic diner feel right down to the local waitresses who will tell you what to order and how you want your steak cooked. Speaking of steak... oh my lord! The cut to order rib eye served medium rare is perfect. Served with homemade mash potatoes, skins and all, and steamed fresh cut veggies. Plenty of food for me and my husband to split when we added a Greek salad which is the real deal. Lots of olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese on top of fresh greens with Greek dressing. PS the Rose' wine is dry and delicious. You wouldn't think this diner would have a nice rose' but it's worth it.

Bill F.

Yelp
Excellent food. Great weight staff. They give you so much food. You really cannot eat at all. So we had a lot to take home. So actually one meal that you buy pays 42 meals, unless you are andre, the giant.

Laurie V.

Yelp
Had a late lunch with hubby after going to the lighthouse and winery. There were only a few customers in the diner when we got there around 2:30. Old time diner with a Greek flare. I had the Greek salad with chicken and hubby had the chicken souvlaki with Tzatziki. They said the Greek dressing was homemade but it was mostly oil and no seasonings. Maybe they forgot to stir it. Both meals were good seasoning on the chicken was good. They only offer beer, wine and Mimosa. We recommend checking it out They are only open for breakfast and lunch and close at 4:00.

Yelp
Phenomenal Fish wrap and lemon chicken orzo soup on a Sunday late morning-All will be well in 2025!!

Yelp
My son and I recently visited Georgie's Diner after not being there for quite a while, and it felt good to be back. We always go for our "usuals"--for me, a grilled cheese with tomato on wheat with a side of onion rings, and for my son, the patty melt and fries. The diner was practically empty, which was a bit surprising since Flagler students have returned for the semester. It was also a bit warm inside, which added to the unusual atmosphere. However, I was happy to see some familiar faces among the staff who greeted us with big smiles. When our meals arrived, we noticed some changes. Instead of being served on the usual sheet pans, the food came out on small plates. The onion ring recipe seemed to have changed, and the portions were noticeably smaller. I understand that food prices are high, and local restaurants have had to adjust, but it was still a bit disappointing. While it's always nice to see friendly staff, I hope Georgie's can find a way to balance the changes while keeping the charm that has made it a favorite spot in Saint Augustine.

Yelp
Good fun fast, nice waitresses, sweat clean shinny dinner. I have eaten there three times.

Kelly B.

Yelp
This was my first time here and I am a local. I have been wanting to come in but the line is always very long. We came in on an off day for our city. My husband and I enjoy diner food and this was on the money. The cooks in the back worked really hard and the manager worked even harder to ensure food was expedited quickly. Everything we ordered was good and we finished our plates. The corned beef hash was finely chopped which for me was not the best way I like to have it. I prefer larger cubes but if you like this style it is for you. The resultant was clean and beautiful. I am a southerner and the biscuits were average in my opinion. They were large and buttery but it they were missing the lightly crispy outer layer that I enjoy. But I could tell there were many life long residents eating here and were very happy. If you love diners then this is your spot! Service was ok for sitting at the counter. Expected better. It was a bit slow -not the food just getting attention from the server when we needed her. She was personally a bit milk warm as well.

Baylee H.

Yelp
This is a classic American diner. They have a lot of classic diner breakfast and lunch options but they also have a lot of Greek options. Everything we got was really good! Portions are giant and at a good price.

Abby D.

Yelp
I would give this place an easy 4.5 stars! I loved the classic diner feel. Quick service and friendly staff. Omelettes hit the spot and hashbrowns were perfectly crispy. Perfect spot to grab a quick bite to eat while on the road or after a long night out on the town.

Linda L.

Yelp
Food they put out is really good. The breakfast burrito was delish and enough to split. Cute space, clean and friendly wait staff. Cooks work hard here. Thanks guys

Lynda U.

Yelp
The breakfast sandwich was very good, French toast was very good. Service not so much, asked for water didn't come. We had to ask for more coffee, plus the girl never asked asked if we needed anything else, asked for the check bc its the holidays she got a decent tip.

Tori H.

Yelp
Food was decent and fairly priced. Owner was talking to some buyer at a table across from us. From the cost of eggs, his political views & putting a urinal tab in whatever is smelly in the dinner. I won't be back.

Veronica J.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast. Typical diner type food. The service was good. The food was just alright. I asked for my sourdough toast to be well toasted, and it came out cold and not much color. It didn't even taste like sourdough. All in all, it was just ok.

Sheila W.

Yelp
This is a cute, old fashioned diner near Flagler college. We go here a lot and the food is always good. The service is prompt, friendly and efficient. There's a porch on the front, so we bring our dog a lot. She likes their bacon!

Shirley M S.

Yelp
Friendly staff. A very ample portion on the Rueben sandwich we ordered and it was very delicious!

Prerana C.

Yelp
An old school diner, cool spot for brunch or dinner, the service was quick and the food was great. Big portions, 2 meals in 1! Don't miss their biscuits and gravy!

Audra A.

Yelp
The BEST breakfast in Saint Augustine. After 3 days of eating in the historic district and being pretty disappointed with the food at every stop, Georgie's was HEAVEN. The retro atmosphere is cozy and fun and the food is reasonably priced. My kids devoured their Mickey Mouse pancake and French Toast, Salmon Benedict was excellent. Even the basic eggs and toast were so good (fluffy eggs - A++++). Also, and I cannot stress this enough - GOOD COFFEE!! Service was quick and our waitress was nice. Just all around great place. Will definitely be going back and looking forward to trying their lunch and desserts!

Engin U.

Yelp
Great food and service. My wife and I are very much into traditional diners. We went there for breakfast and we were not disappointed. I am not sure why we have not discovered this place before, considering we live in the area. The only thing I can think of that is subpar is the biscuit, choose something else instead.

Austin B.

Yelp
Georgie's Diner is a Greek diner located in St Augustine right across the street from their winery. They are parking lot is insanely small and you may need to fend off other cars to find parking but let me tell you it is 100% worth the hassle of finding a parking spot because the food is topped here. If you get here a little bit after breakfast, be prepared to wait because it seems like everybody in St Augustine knows exactly what this place is and how amazing it is because there is always a weight when we're here. It took a little bit of time to get seated however once we sat we were quickly given menus and our drink orders. I got a coffee and my wife got an orange juice, the coffee was brewed perfectly and it was dark but not too strong and the orange juice tasted fresh squeezed. I decided to get a egg sandwich that came with jelly smothered on the bread as well as two fried eggs bacon and hash browns, it was one of the most unhealthy yet delicious meals that I have had in a long time and at the price point of $10 usually can't beat it. Once we got our order though the waitress kind of disappeared so we had to flag her down when we were ready to order. Other than that everything about this place was amazing and it seems like everybody knows each other here. The style and visuals make it seem like you're in a Greek diner in the 60s or 50s with different memorabilia on the walls and everything feeling like you are welcomed from the second you walk into the second you leave I will 100% be visiting this place over and over because of how the Ambiance and food as well as prices and service are!

Mark M.

Yelp
Ambience was cool, retro diner. Thae service was very good servers were nice and courteous. The place was clean. Ordered country fried steak with gravy and hashbrowns . The eggs and sourdough bread were very good unfortunately the hash browns were a fail, 90% were oily scrapings and uneatable. The fried steak was average and a bit dry. The white gravy was made with way too much water and very little milk/cream, so much so that the gravy was translucent maybe due to cost cutting?

Lizzy G.

Yelp
Georgie's is your quintessential breakfast diner. It has retro vibes, standard diner coffee, and a simple menu. While it gets very busy on the weekends, we came on a weekday (what a luxury!) and had absolutely no wait. Our server was kind and the food was good!

Dawn D.

Yelp
Every little thing about the place !! Food is amazing, waitresses work great together and the vibe is fantastic

Justin S.

Yelp
Love the classic feel of this diner. The booths and tables and all the decor are exactly what I expect in a 50s diner. The food was surprisingly way better than I imagined. I ordered a gourmet hamburger and it was delicious! I thought the $10 tag on it was a little high for a diner but was pleasantly surprised and now I see it was worth it. I rarely ever order dessert but I saw someone else order the bourbon pecan pie and couldn't resist, so good. I'll absolutely be returning.

L C.

Yelp
Good food! Nice atmosphere- friendly staff. They should be open longer and should let Flagler students pick up food.

Absent E.

Yelp
Old school diner vibe, really quick seating, the cheesesteak was amazing, meatloaf and mash potatoes was incredible, a must return place.

Patty W.

Yelp
One last stop for lunch and then we were on our way home from a fun and long weekend in St. Augustine. We ended up at the diner and was able to get a table without a wait at all. Our waitress was super sweet and we had plenty of different types of food to pick from. I got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Sadly, the meatloaf was overcooked and it was a little burnt on the top. The sides were good though. Everybody else enjoyed their food and it was a let down that my meal turned out that way. I didn't mention it to our waitress since I figured it was a mistake and rolled it off my shoulders. The quick service and the busy staff kept everything going smoothly. Customers were coming in and out of the diner frequently and the prices are reasonable. The waitress thanked us for coming in and having the last meal on our trip.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Corn Beef Hash and Eggs. Well... we were expecting super Greek superb breakfast. We got amazing service!!! I wish the food stood up to the other reviews. Hash was homemade. Had multiple artificial flavors like the eggs Eggs and potatoes had heavy flavors of artificial oils and flavors. Country Benedict was not flavorful. Gravy seemed from a can and thin. Like the other man stated about the coffee, it was very much like underwhelming. Very weak with very little flavor. Thank you for the opportunity to dine here. We loved the service and the friendly waitstaff. They were very kind.

Hrvoje C.

Yelp
They're trying to serve too many things and and they're not being authentic about it I just don't like that kind of dedication, it might be good but when you put a label to something like Greek salad you don't put lettuce I know lots of them do that it's only because they want to use it as a filler as one example Greek salad is tomatoes peppers onions kalamata olives extra virgin olive oil of good quality and some of the brine from the kalamata olives mixed together and tossed and then served to you with some either broken up feta or sticks of feta is fine but the fat has to be from Greece not from United States because they try to cheat and don't use full fat in production so the taste is just not good and also the food that the lamb grazes and grease is different in here so you can achieve that taste simple example of why not to choose that item on the menu or any other restaurant that does the same thing! ‼‼

Bri A.

Yelp
Just left Georgie's diner and all I can say is..wow... the gyro is MASSIVE, all servers were running their as*es off but still had smiles on their faces, never had to wait for a refill, or napkins. 10/10 would say being there missed me being a server haha, Marcia was our server and was so friendly, helped another server run food (blonde with little poof in front, gotta be the lead server, because a b*tch was running back and forth constantly). Some other girl was singing YMCA, just the whole experience was wholesome. Food was amazing; but what made it yelp worthy was the team and positive vibes. My fiancé had a meat omelet, I'm allergic to eggs so I didn't try it, but he really liked it also! (He wanted me to add that, nosey b*tch)

Susie G.

Yelp
This is the spot my local friend suggested when I told her we'd be in the area and asked if she could meet for breakfast. It's a traditional "silver" diner with retro interior. The coffee was hot, my mug was kept full, and my French toast was perfectly prepared. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his bratwurst, eggs and grits.

Leeanne G.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was quick. However, do not bring large groups unless you want to be split between tables. There are no spaces for large parties.

Nicholas M.

Yelp
First the waitress was rude. She actually threw a plate down & it clattered. Really. No sorry, just walked off. Weird AF. Usually available parking with attached lot. Probably experiences flooding during rain! A mix of $75k BMWs and a rusted old Chevy Truck. Also weird. HISTORY: We used to go here 15 years ago for late night beers and flaming Greek cheese. It was awesome. Now it seems like the insanely cool 1950s-Pulp Fiction ambiance is totally shot by below average food and staff. The guy whom owns this place also owns Athena Greek Restaurant in old town as well as the restaurant in the drained pool of The Lightener Museum. Hope those places are still good food AND cool ambiance. This place is a no for now. This place needs new blood! And to remove the COVID barriers between booths. OH

Jen B.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this diner by accident. Service and food was delicious! French toast was top notch, and the spinach and feta omelette was to die for. Not a fan of the breakfast potatoes, stick with the hash brown! True diner vibe!

Kelsey F.

Yelp
Came here with a group of friends the morning after a wedding. So yes. Hangover food. Loved the retro vibe of this place. Portions were huge and everything tasted amazing. I especially enjoyed my chocolate chip pancakes! I loved how it had a crispy edge but was still so fluffy on the inside. Most importantly we loved our server! She was so sweet and always had a smile on her face. She was super attentive and took great care of us. On our way out, a man who appeared to be the owner continually thanked us for our visit. Really loved how welcoming and friendly everyone was, it gave off that small town feel!

Matt B.

Yelp
Very cool 50s diner theme with the exterior covered in brite stainless/chrome, interior in keeping with the 50s diner theme, good food, good service, no complaints.

Lizz z.

Yelp
The interior of the dinner is very cute and I love that! The staff was prompt and so was the food. The food was so prompt that some of it was cold (home fries, toast), which was disappointing. The food also didn't have a lot of flavor so it was very average.

Crystal O.

Yelp
Have you ever passed by a place over the years and said one day I'll eat there? That's how I was with Georgie's Diner- Greek & American plates, I hoped I could convince John to go. He's not a fan of Greek food, but I am! We were headed south for the day and passing by St Augustine in time for brunch. I thought I wanted breakfast, but John definitely wanted lunch. Wait time was about 20 minutes, not too bad. We sat in our booth and had drinks in hand pretty quickly. I saw locals there and tourists alike. Instead of breakfast I set my eyes upon spinach pie/spanakopita and I just had to order it. This is where my wishes to dine here were dashed. When the food arrived the top of the spanikopita was not buttery, but looked dry. A steak knife was set down with my plate was not a good sign. I ordered the appetizer and was stumped with the puddle of tzatziki sauce on the plate next to the spanikopita. I've never seen it served that way. Then I tried to cut into the pastry and it was hard. First bite- beyond chewy, hard pastry. Didn't know if it was days old or over cooked or what- but I have never had bad spinach pie until that dish. I tried to eat some, but gave up after a few bites. John ordered a burger and tater tots and his tater tots were way over cooked too- almost hollow of potato. This was a 2 star review that the server made up a star by removing my meal from the bill. We made sure to tip well. Not sure I will give them another chance.

Wayne H.

Yelp
Went to Georgie's for the first time today. Ate with a buddy at brunch time today. He had an omelet and hash-browns that he said were amazing, and I had the best french dip sandwich of my life. We stumbled on the restaurant by accident looking to try something new and struck gold. The food was amazing but the service was even better. Rachel was so sweet and friendly, in addition to making great menu suggestions. The service went beyond friendly, despite being busy (every table full) she was attentive and made sure our coffees and waters stayed fresh. The restaurant was well staffed which was refreshing this day in age. Thanks for a great dining experience.

Steve D.

Yelp
We will return and eat here again and try out the dinner menu. The meat lovers omelette is exactly that. Stuffed full of meat and too much for even me to finish. The blueberry pancakes were slammed full of berries. Sorry, no picture of the pancake. The hash-browns were not over-cooked, as you will see. I did ask for a side of corned beef hash to sample. Unfortunately, I was charged $8.95 because it's not a side option. Two bites and I was done. This is wonderful if you are a bell pepper fan. I have never seen this dish so finely chopped. I am looking forward to returning and exploring the Greek menu.

C P.

Yelp
Yummy Tuna sandwich! Onion rings, 1/2 & 1/2 tea. Fast service & pleasant server. Adequate parking. Central location to Flagler College.

Beth L.

Yelp
We showed up on a Sunday morning around 9:30 after a late night out on the town for a friends 50th birthday. We were pleased there was one table available right away. Much needed coffee and water arrived right away. We ordered traditional eggs Benedict with fruit and the chicken enchilada breakfast with eggs and grits. The enchiladas were nice sized with great flavor. The eggs Benedict looked amazing but it was very disappointing to find the hollandaise cold and the poached eggs over cooked. The server did not return except to bring the checks and then never came back to pick up the bill. Also, we ended being forced to leave a much larger tip than we wanted to because we were paying in cash and didn't want to wait anymore for the change. Unfortunately we won't be back.

John B.

Yelp
Georgie's Diner seemed to fit the common theme of local breakfast places in St. Augustine. Good tasting, low priced food with friendly service. Georgie's was our last stop. Breakfast and then back on the road to Tampa. My fiance and I wanted one last new place to grab breakfast and luckily Yelp pointed us here. We arrived a little after 10am and the place was bustling. We were glad that there was dine-in seating as well. Georgie's has a classic diner vibe going on. Almost reflective metal walls line the entire place outside. Inside, the red vinyl booths and dining counter with matching red vinyl circular stools transport you back into the 60s. Our server was around quick. I ordered some coffee and my fiance, her go-to orange juice. We had kinda scoped out the menu beforehand and having eaten mostly savory breakfasts the entire trip, we were craving something sweet. My fiance ordered the french toast combo with two eggs and bacon. I ordered the pancake combo with two eggs and sausage. The food came out quickly as well. The breakfast was excellent. The pancakes were almost the size of my plate. For the $10 I got two of them with the scrambled eggs and two sausage patties. The syrup for the pancakes was pretty standard, sweet and not too runny. The french toast had almost a elegant presentation to it. This was no square wonder bread fried with some egg on each side. This french toast looked like challah bread. It was long, thick slices, 3 stacked with powdered sugar and syrup. My fiance said it was excellent. Our breakfast was quiet, laid back and tasty. It was what breakfast should be. Inexpensive, quick, filling, flavorful. Breakfast should be simple. All of that is what we got here. If you're looking for a good breakfast spot near downtown in St. Augustine, check out Georgie's.

Phil S.

Yelp
I'll make this short. In St. Augustine on vacation, saw Georgie's, looked like a very cool place to stop for breakfast. The waitress was fairly unfriendly. My wife ordered a bagel (as good as any grocery store would sell). Nothing special. I am a corned beef hash junky. Theirs was about the worst I've ever been served. It was like a pile of VERY greasy over cooked Waffle House hash browns that had a smattering of some over cooked corned beef hash in it. Had to beg for a coffee fill up ($3.50/cup). I don't recall the exact price, but the bill was much more than it should have been for a 'diner'. Left small tip, left very disappointed.

David T.

Yelp
Absolutely great meals three times a day! Eat breakfast at 6 p.m. with a chocolate milkshake on the side! I've been coming here on a regular basis for the past year. If I ever find my pictures from previous visits, I will be sure to upload them with the review. They have a regular menu with breakfast lunch and dinner, along with specials that vary a llittle each day. All the food is great and reasonably priced - the most expensive meals are their top dinners for around $19. I'm told the owner also owns the Athena Grill in downtown, which makes sense because this diner has Greek dishes as well as typical American fare. One of my favorites are the Greek platters number one and two. Number one has forget the name of it, but kind of like a Greek lasagna along with souvlaki and other Greek Fare. Sample Greek platter number 2 includes gyro meat, salad and some other stuff. The breakfast is some typical American stuff like omelets, great pancakes, and other dishes with the addition of feta as a cheese option and some other Greek stuff. The lunch type items includes Burgers, Ruben's, and other salads and wraps. I have not had it, but there was a $12 tuna salad at the next table that looked extremely huge. The side dishes available for lunch and dinner include fries, tater tots, onion rings, potato salad and some few other non-fried items. The hot dog on the kids menu was adult size. It was a wonderful fresh baked bread with very light char from the grill, with a hotdog well over an inch thick also grilled with those little diagonal slices to prevent it from exploding as it cooks. The dinner menus include a variety of pastas with meat, and I think prime rib shows up about every Friday. Their milkshakes are truly a guilty pleasure. One thing I like compared to other restaurants that do not specialize in ice cream is rather than just using vanilla ice cream with syrup, the ice cream itself it is the base flavor. For example, the coffee ice cream makes the coffee milkshake, and if you like they can add their chocolate syrup to make a mocha milkshake that is out of this world. They have a few flavors that rotate in and out, like a butter pecan and the oh so awesome toasted coconut pineapple, a pina colada milkshake without the booze. I forget the name of the owner, as in don't know if it is Georgie or not, but he's an extremely nice man and he cultivates lovely flowers and other plants around the outside of the diner itself. He recognizes our faces and comes over to chat whenever we are there. They serve beer and wine as well. As an added bonus, Georgie's has their own free parking lot so not driving around for 30 minutes for a spot on the street at a $3 fifty an hour. Great place for all meals! Sunday brunch is typically crowded; lines are shorter for dinner time Since no 5-star review would be complete without an excessive number of exclamation points, ABSOLUTELY!!!!! GREAT!!!! FOOD AND SERVICE!!!#

Maureen S.

Yelp
The food was very good. The waitstaff was great, they were very attentive. The look of the place is really nice-cute ambiance.

Lee D.

Yelp
Wow !! I was in town with my son for a long weekend adventure . We searched maps and found Georgie's and it was nearby and looked original . A 50's retro diner look. We thought it looked unique and tried it out . The service was excellent and the food was nice portions well made with excellent ingredients. My son had nice hearty pancakes with a side of bacon and I had the western omelet . Large portions of high quality . Full of flavor and freshly made ! I would rank it as absolutely delicious , high quality and plentiful.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
We were looking for a place to eat near Hollywood. Looked at the reviews/Pics and chose Georgie's. It does not look like the pics. The inside is rundown and not especially clean. The employees were not very friendly. Definitely catered to the local customers. The food was good, especially the ruben and milkshake. Was not a horrible experience, but would not return.
