BEST CRÈME BRÛLÉE. Period. The end. Also the place is cute and fun. But I dream about that dang dessert! Drinks were exceptional. Oh. And next time I go - I’m getting those poke tacos as my main meal….might order two. They were hands down some of the best food I’ve had in a LONNNNG TIME. We will be back!

Celebrated our anniversary tonight and stumbled upon this hidden gem while searching for seafood in the area. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Kerry was our server and she made the night even more special than it already was. Her recommendations were amazing & she paced everything perfectly so we could really relax and enjoy our time together. The food was fresh, flavorful & presented beautifully! Highly recommend & we will be back! My personal favorites were the oysters, ahi & bread pudding!

Nice place, clean, but nothing special for atmosphere and it seemed overpriced. The waiter was attentive and pleasant. We shared a bowl of gumbo and both thought it left us underwhelmed, little flavor and thin, perhaps not cooked long enough (?). We gave the waiter our feedback and he offered to get us something else, which we refused but appreciated. My wife got the Chicken and Farro and described it as "just ok". I got the Short Rib Cottage Pie, which looked awesome and was good, but had very few peas and carrots, and was drier than I expected/like. We shared an apple pie with ice cream for dessert, which was good but expensive at $12. The total bill was $90 (before tip) and that included an additional fee for paying with a credit card, which I find annoying. I didn't realize they did that until I read it on the bill. I doubt we will return, mostly because of price, but you never know.

Cool spot. Maybe caught them on an off night. Our first orders of food were thing don the menu but no longer available. Or they were 86’d for the night. Cocktails were ice but served room temp. Portion sizes a bit on the small side. Fried green tomatoes, fish and chips, Shepard pie all served room temp. Charges you credit card fee.

Place was really nice, the food was tasty. We had the fried green tomato, bass, and chicken and farrow. The fried green tomato was really good! Super tasty and Light appetizer. The bass was tasty, felt a bit small, and had in my opinion too much garnish. The chicken and farrow was a really good portion and tasty as well. Recommend this place, if your looking for some fish food.

We arrived when they opened and had a great dinner! Our waiter was Dave! Thank you sir! Excellent job! By 5:30pm it was getting pretty loud…. We talked to some locals who said the owners are limited by mods they can make “historical building” stuff, cannot fix the sound issue. Suggest lowering the volume of the music, let the banter be the noise! We sampled across the menu… crab cake was delicious, one of the best we’ve had in a while. Ceviche and ahi poke tacos were super fresh, all made to order, great taste! The sake sea bass was awesome, cannot go wrong there! The gumbo was good, but needed a bit more depth of flavor (more spices)… plenty of seafood in the and the andouille was great! Cool place, nice vibe… the noise issue could be better, but improvements likely limited by building codes. Dine early and often! Highly recommend Georgie’s!

Georgie’s is a very nice place with a warm, inviting atmosphere and excellent service. The food was beautifully presented — we had the fish and chips and the bluefin tuna, both perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The seasoning was subtle, refined, and never overpowering, which really let the quality of the ingredients shine. To finish, we shared the bread pudding — absolutely amazing. The yellow raisins were delicately marinated in what seemed to be a fine liquor, adding depth and elegance to an already outstanding dessert. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish!

Everything was fantastic ! Especially bluefin tuna was excellent !! The sake-roasted sea bass reminded me of the familiar sake-lees–marinated fish from my home country, Japan, but with a fresh, modern twist. The new flavors were vibrant and wonderfully balanced. Rosted beets was also so delicious. Absolutely this is the one I wanna go again !

Party of two, reservation Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m.. This was our first time here since the location was converted to Georgie's. When you walk in it's completely different from what it was before. Now it is light and bright and open. I was a little caught off guard when we walked in and there was an overwhelming fish smell. The fish smell stayed on my jacket, Even when I got home later in the evening. It kind of turned me off from ordering anything raw. Our server was so friendly and attentive, She made the experience amazing! I had the rye by the fire cocktail. It was really good and I appreciated the smokey effect and the hint of vanilla. I was super excited to try the hush puppies because I had read so many good things about them and they did not disappoint. Great flavor great texture and the hot honey just set it off. The crab cake was good but did not have hardly any flavor. I should have added some tartar sauce or hot sauce for an additional kick. The beat salad was really good, especially if you like beets. Now let's talk about the red fish dish. We were expecting a burst of flavor being that it was chili dusted with a tomato butter, But there was hardly any flavor at all. I was shocked. I expected some great chili vibe but no. And the grit cake tasted like starch with zero seasoning at all, there was no jalapeno no seasoning no flavor It was like eating a starchy air. But the carrots were amazing!!!! Anywho, overall it was a good experience and I will definitely be back to try other drinks and dishes on the menu.

I heard of this place and had to make it soon enough. Finally was able to come in and try the food. I love what they did to the place, it looks spacious and open with the nice light and accents. We had the shrimp and crab cake as well as the house margarita. I really liked the crab cake a lot more than the shrimp. However, the shrimp was definitely fun to eat since it comes with the shell. I liked the fact that we came in on a week day and avoided the weekend crowd. We had excellent service and very attentive staff. I would love to sit at the bar next time and see the place from a different perspective. It's a place you really want to hang out at, either with friends, family or in a date. Their drink list is long and makes you want to try everything. Again, I love the ambiance and just for an appetizer and a drink is a very cool place to visit.

Needed a date-night-out dinner later in the evening in Georgetown. Georgie's had tables available and we'd heard good things, especially about seafood. Started with Oysters and the Tuna Poke Tacos - both were good but the tuna tacos were extraordinary - crunchy and soft, salty and light - good balance all around! I had the chile-dusted redfish. It was good, but the portion seemed small for an entree (especially compared to the appetizers). My wife had the creme brulee for desert and it was really well made - good custard, perfect texture. Definitely a place we'd come back to - and a place to use your Resy Amex credit! One star off for a very, very loud room - wood floors, stone walls - noise just bounces off everything.

Georgie's is still a relatively new spot in Downtown Georgetown, just off the square. It's a quaint place with a great feel. The service each time I've gone has been great. The staff is friendly and provides great service. Everything I've tried has been delicious, but the hush puppies are hands down my favorite. Who'd have thought to plate them with a honey and tartar sauce? 10/10 recommend

Had a reservation for a Wednesday night and wasn't seated until 30 minutes after the reservation time due to lack of tables (there were two tables that were empty for 30-45 minutes while we waited that were for slightly larger parties that had reservations though). We didn't get our drinks until about 20 minutes after we were seated. During dinner we were never asked if we wanted additional drinks, etc. When it came time to pay, there was a surcharge of 3% to use a credit card. While I've seen this before, I wasn't expecting it at a restaurant with $30-$40 entrees. While the food and drinks were pretty good, I wouldn't return. There are plenty of other restaurants with good food and service with comparable or lower prices.

Right off the square so parking shouldn't be a problem. Passed by enough time and decided to have date night here. Oysters from Maine were good. My little enjoyed her mac and cheese (although a little salty) not a big deal. Service was good and food came out in a timely manner. Overall I'd recommend it if you were in the mood for drinks or fish. Menu is good and prices are fair for the portions.

Service was super quick, and the food came out hot and fresh. Everything tasted great, especially the gumbo and my friend's blue crab mac and cheese $26 (phenomenal!). Portions didn't always match the price $24 for a chicken thighs and $23 for fish and chips felt steep, and the gumbo was small for $13. That said, staff were very friendly and attentive, and the downtown Georgetown location is really aesthetic with parking nearby (sometimes a short walk). Overall, I'd give it 4-4.5 stars on the pricey side, but the flavor and service makes it worth a visit. Lots of seatings even at the Bar. The place is very pretty aesthetically.

The food was delicious, and the service was timely, but the ambiance was LOUD. It wasn't that the patrons were rowdy... rather lots of tables in a small space and nothing to help absorb the sound. Might be fun with a group of friends but for an intimate date night experience, this place misses the mark.

Finally! A great new restaurant in the square! Beautiful interior and ambience although a little loud when it fills up. Cocktails are amazing Food is wonderful. Don't miss the smoked fish dip - delicious Service is top-notch, friendly and welcoming. This is my new favorite spot in DT GT.

we had a reservation for 4 and even if early we were able to be sat. waiter was professional and took our drink order Draft beer options available. appetizers and entrées were very tasty and well plated The Akaushi strip line was the best meat I've ever had we will come back for sure thank you to a waiter, Dave

Enjoyed an early dinner at Georgie's with great food, ambience and service. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the meal as well as the manager. We ordered the ceviche, beet salad, and NOLA shrimp. It was the perfect meal for two and also great quality seafood! Every dish was great so we are looking forward to trying something different when we come back!

I had a great meal. We got there late & a missed out on a few of the options. I will go back again.

Wife and I were discussing dinner for a Thursday night and I was thinking of something new-to-us on the Square or Fish City (a favorite). I started investigating Georgie's. My only hesitancy was the available pictures and the place looked a little "sterile". We decided on Georgie's and I am glad we did. First, the place is not "sterile" and we really liked the layout and vibe. The customers were a wide range of ages and we decided we were the oldest people there. Greeter was extremely nice and we chose to sit at one of the high-top tables. Our server, Beth, then comes over to greet us. Beth is an excellent and personable server. We enjoyed talking with her. Wife and I grew up in the South and have eaten fried green tomatoes all our lives. Wife said they were the best she had ever eaten and came to the table hot. I also thought they were delicious. My oyster po boy was very good and wife enjoyed the the chicken and farro. The entire meal was a great experience. The owners were working the tables and checking-in on the guests. They were flying under the radar and I asked if he was the owner. Later, the manager, a rather young fellow, comes over to our table. It was all a nice touch. Finally, Georgie's is an excellent addition to the Square and rivals our other favorite restaurants on the Square....Wildfire and Blue Corn Harvest. We will definitely be back and will ask for Beth.

We finally got an Austin level top Michelin-esque dining experience here in Georgetown! The food we had was delicious and this is definitely my new favorite restaurant in the square. The space feels upscale but not stuffy. Best ceviche I've ever had with a nice fresh kick from the jalapeño. Fries and potato chips were perfectly fried and seasoned...best part was they weren't too salty like other places. Burger was perfect and the pickles it came with tasted homemade. Fantastic Negroni. Can't wait to try other things on the menu. Wonderful staff and service. Will be adding Georgie's to our weekly rotation!

Just walking by. This place is special. Both drinks amazing, Mexican martini and blackberry lime margarita. Smoked fish dip great. Can't wait to return for dinner.

The overall ambiance is great! We thought the place was decorated with a fun/classy vibe. All of the food was really good!! Some of us thought the portions were a little smaller than normal. The Mexican Martini was not great. I prefer a bit more kick of flavor in those, so I went with a jalapeño margarita after & that was way better! They should add it to the menu. Service was very attentive, but almost to the point of pushy. Advised to get our order in because more people were starting to come in and then tried to persuade us to not order drinks that weren't on the menu because it was going to take longer. Made a whole comment about having to go to the back to get a jalapeño for the margarita. Funny enough, the drink took no longer than any others. Maybe they were just trying to be helpful, but it came off differently‍ We did get free pie for our birthdays which was a nice touch!

Fifth visit to Georgie's and never disappoints. Great food, service, cocktails, with a fantastic ambiance!

Thursday night was our first visit. It won't be our last. We had sea bass. It was the best I've ever had, and I've eaten fish all over the world. Don't miss this place. Kevin and Naj were great. The remodeled decor is well done.

We loved this place!! Staff was very friendly and the food was amazing! We got the pimento cheese appetizer along with the beet salad. In addition, we got the shepherds pie and the tuna.

Georgie's is phenomenal. My husband and I just moved to the area, and happened upon Georgie's. Definitely recommend the roasted beets. The chicken and farro is unreal. The chile dusted redfish was also outstanding. Cocktails were great too. The Daysipper was a favorite. Thank you.

Disappointed. I gave feedback to both the server and the manager during our meal and they both responded very well. I ordered the fish and chips. The best thing on the plate was the coke slaw. Unfortunately, it was a tiny portion served in a silver condiment dish. The French fries were lukewarm warm and not seasoned well. The fish was piping hot and the batter light and crispy, but had NO flavor. Both the fish itself and the batter were flavorless. The tartar sauce was lacking any distinct profile. It wasn't tartar sauce and it wasn't just straight mayonnaise. When I told the waiter that the French Fries were lukewarm and not seasoned, he offered to send out fresh ones. The fresh ones were hot, but still not seasoned. I asked for salt for the fish and he brought that out with the new fries. Would I go back? Maybe. The drinks were very good.

We love downtown Georgetown so was excited to try this new place. Waiter was great. Food was good. Could be seasoned a little better. Both fish plates were a little bland but good. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Will be back

We showed up around 4:30 on a Friday (with no reservation) and were given a perfect table at the front! Service was amazing- attentive, respectful, helpful. And the food was delicious! My husband had the gumbo which he rated highly, and we both had fish and chips. The single piece of fish was large, thick, and perfectly prepared. Drinks were divine- Bellini and the vodka/grapefruit one that I don't remember the name of. Ambiance was welcoming. Highly recommend!!!

Love the shepherds pie. The red fish is amazing! The burger was also delicious! The decor is so cute. Will be back for sure.

$300 and went home hungry. Fish was skimpy and not much else on the plate. nice place but I've just returned from Italy. this was not as good as restaurants on roadside mass parking.

Food was very good and the server was nice and accommodating/knowledgeable. Ambiance was noisy. Need to install sound absorption on walls. Hard to have conversation at our table of 4

Went on a date nite with my wife. We're new to the area and had a recommendation from a tag agent. The Drinks were Great! Ordered oysters on half and they were Delicious! We decide to order and split the gumbo, and the fried shrimp po-boy. The gumbo came fist and it was over cooked (burnt). It tasted bitter. We held out hope for the poor-boy...well the shrimp was good but the slaw was way over salted! The Service was Very good and atmosphere was good. Maybe we caught them on a off night. Might have to give them another try!

Parking: Might be tough but in general you should be able to find something in a block or so radius. Food: We had ceviche, beet salad, and sea bass. It was all very good! Drinks: We didn't drink that night but they looked good and hope to be back to try one! I will say that Georgetown, Texas has mainly crappy fast food, rarely healthy....mostly something fried, overly sugared/salted, and/or not prepared properly. I think that this was a breath of fresh air in town. Only wish is that seating was more intimate and laid out in a way that was cozy. Your either up on a platform where a band used to be, or out in the breezeway or seated at the bar. Not for a conversation that is private or a romantic scenario ...

Delicious burger! I love the cocktails that aren't on tap, I would recommend a drink order that is mixed by hand. We've been multiple times and always enjoyed the experience.

The desserts and the drinks were amazing. The host was awesome. The waiter was awesome. It was a great little spot.

Service, food, ambiance all on point. Reddish was delicious. The beet salad was out of this world good. Sangria (had the red) qas sooo good too! Heading back for another visit asap!

Great new seafood restaurant for Georgetown. Excellent knowledgeable wait staff; fun ambience if a bit too live acoustically. I had the smoked fish dip: Creative taste; more fish-salad-type consistency but fantastic; especially on their perfect home-fried potato chips., Great! I also had the Gumbo: Great I'm sure for a true Cajun; but above my Midwestern pay grade on the Scofield scale. All told, a terrific taste experience. I'll be back.

Absolutely Fabulous!!!! Everything we tried on the menu was delicious --- from the poke tuna tacos, to the roasted beet salad, to the ceviche, to the chili dusted red fish, to the sea bass, and top it off with flourless chocolate cake -- yum!!! And the drinks were wonderful!! Our waiter, Graham, was very knowledgeable about the menu choices and very prompt with his service. I highly recommend Georgie's!!! I wiill go back every chance I get!

We really enjoyed our meal. Loved the new look of the place, service was great. We got a few appetizers (raw oysters, smoked fish dip, tuna poke tacos, Ceaser salad, and the pimento cheese). If I had to not choose one of them again it would be the pimento cheese, but all 4 were good choices. My favorite was the poke tacos! We will definitely be back.

What a perfect dinner date night experience! Food was great and the service was awesome. We'll be going back to this Georgetown restaurant!!!

We just heard about this place, it has only been around 3 months. Great location off the Georgetown Square and the interior is light and airy. We were greeted as we came in, there are two seating option regular height chairs or tall chairs. The service was very good, Beth our server was attentive and helpful. We started off with 2 appetizers, the Roasted Beets were excellent and I liked the Fried Green Tomatoes (my wife didn't like the spices in the sauce, allergies). The entrees were just as good. I loved that they use Gambino bread fresh from NOLA for their Fried Oyster Po'Boy. My wife raved about the Shepherd's Pie, most often it is done with hamburger but they used Short ribs and it was definitely a step up. The Bread Pudding was good but we made the mistake of letting it cool while we talked. Definitely a repeater.

My husband and I just recently had a fabulous dinner at Georgie's, celebrating our 39th anniversary. We were greeted at the door by the owner, Charles, and we chose to sit at the bar. We mentioned to Charles that we were celebrating and the next thing a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine was sat in front of us. The two bartenders that served us, were super nice and very attentive. We started with the poke tuna tacos which were delicious. For dinner we enjoyed the Ahi Tuna and Redfish entrees, which were expertly prepared. Dessert was creme brûlée, which had the perfect crackly top and wonderful. The whole evening was perfect from beginning to the end. We will definitely be back soon.

I've been eager to try Georgie's and tonight (Father's Day) was the night. First impression was of the setting. Given the previous establishment, B&A, Georgie's was bright, contemporary and welcoming. We were tended to from the get go without being overbearing in any way. Everything was superb to the point of one of the better meals I've had as of late in Georgetown. Had the fried green tomatoes, ceviche w/chips, and the tuna poke tacos. All smartly presented and all deserved the five star rating I've given. Finished with a crème brûlée. Will be keen on going back - and soon. (Our waiter - Graham - didn't miss a beat).

Excellent cocktails, food and service! Had the smoked fish dip, poke tuna tacos and chile dusted redfish. All very delicious and will definitely be back! Great addition to Georgetown!

Went to dinner with friends. We had the Gumbo and the Fried Green Tomatoes for starters. I had the Black Drum Sandwich. My hubby had the Redfish. Our friends had the Fish and Chips and the Fried Oyster Basket. All of the dishes were delicious. The fish was moist and fresh. We finished off with the Creme Brûlée and the Bread Pudding. I have never had a better bread pudding and I've tried this dish from Houston to New Orleans. Our server Beth was great. We will be back!!
