Hot water lasts 5 minutes, and takes 30+ min to return. We couldn’t shower everyone so had to shower kids at a relative’s home. I feel this should have been disclosed somewhere. Rusted showers, stained cupboards and carpets, dodgy back sliding doors that could easily be opened if someone tried. There were layers of dust on the pipes behind the stove - very visible and very accessible to be able to clean as it is a stand alone stove that can be moved. Oven was nasty. Walls and light switches had built up grime and food splashes. We were accused AND charged for taking a single pillow without being informed until I requested an explanation as they took $80 from my account (mind you, there’s a $100 cleaning deposit). Luckily we thought ahead and took before and after photos! After several days of emailing we were refunded and offered a discount for our next stay. Would not recommend due to uncleanliness, being charged without prior notice, not being provided an explanation until I kept requesting one. There was also no notice of when the remaining cost of the booking would be debited, just an estimate of “about a week before your stay” so you are expected to hold such a large amount in your card if you’ve booked online. For $500 p/night this hotel is way below standard. We were so disappointed.
