German Museum Bonn

An interactive museum, excellent for kids and adults who are into AI and evolution of technology in relation to our environment.

Few exhibits mostly based on emerging AI technology, many interactive screens for young minds, not worth of spending 9€ as an entry fee

Really friendly staff with some interesting exhibits that kept the kids very entertained

Wow. This museum was AMAZING. When I first arrived, I was kind of disappointed because everything is in German, and you don’t see English anywhere. But as I went through the museum, not only did I find a few places that were in English, but every staff member was able to explain things in English and they were so helpful. My kids absolutely loved it. We sat through the Robo dog presentation in German and when it was over and they knew we didn’t speak English, they offered to do the whole thing again in English for us! Now, we came on a day that wasn’t very busy so maybe that contributed to all the attention we got. But still, it was amazing. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours, and honestly if I didn’t need lunch, I could’ve easily been there for another hour.

A nice, but small museum that has interesting items and explains about technology and science. Most texts are translated in English, but the interactive stuff are in German. Kids wouldn't probably enjoy it, and if you are visiting bonn for a short time, i wouldn't recommend it.

A nice little technology museum focusing on AI and robots. Was fun for everyone, from a software engineer like me to 2 and 3 yo kids.

It is great for kids and for those interested in chemistry and inventions. It was interesting for me also, but I enjoy other museums more

It's scandalous how little there is to do inside. Literally everything is themed around AI, including questionable uses of said technology that thread the line of copyright law and threatens the livelihood of artists. As a graduated historian, I am shocked. I wanted to see the previous exhibition that apparently has been completely removed. This degree of cultural barbarity, especially coming from an institution like the Deutsches Museum, is very, very shocking to witness. Very disappointing. Give it a big miss, even with children.
