German Spy Museum

A fun, family friendly experience for those looking to try something new and engaging in Berlin. There were a large array of both interactive and informative activities to participate in. Staff were helpful and kind at the entrance and when purchasing tickets. I would suggest buying them in advance, online for slightly cheaper prices. Overall a positive experience and good entertainment.

Great, great place in Berlin to see the history of spying. There are few interactive spots for visitors to expirience, like interrogation rooms with lie detectors ( Where we found out that my 7 years old daughter is taking candy from the kitchen cupboard without telling us :-) ), laser rooms etc. Really funny and interesting. Ladies at the counter are very polite and friendly. Thx guys for the great time for me an my family.

My boyfriend especially liked this museum, as it presents interesting stories and facts about spies. Interactive, with fun little games. I liked the morse code, the lie detector and the password game. I found the museum next door (Deutschlandmuseum) even better, I read that they were made by the same team and you can get a good offer online if you buy both tickets (I really recommend it).

Very interesting museum with lots of activities for children (or adults). Lots of codes to decipher and you can have a go at morse code.Lots to read in German or an English translation. You could spend a whole lot of time here if you want to read everything very carefully. Majority of the content focuses on Berlin during its division. Massive amount of James Bond memorabilia. One of my favourite bits was downstairs near the exit. This area focused on modern spy methods. It evaluated the ethics of spies and questioned whether spies have a real use in our modern world. Large gift shop. They advise you to place items in lockers before you enter. Fun and exciting. A nice break, less depressing than many of the World War and Cold War ones.

The Spy Museum in Berlin was a wonderful experience! We discovered many interesting things about the history of espionage, presented in an interactive and engaging way. The museum offers plenty of activities for both children and adults, making it perfect for the whole family. The experience is truly enjoyable, educational, and fun at the same time — definitely a place worth visiting in Berlin!

Great museum with an equal balance of interactive exhibits, history, and text. You would definitely need at least 2 hours if you are at least partially interested in espionage. There's an interactive map with Berlin-specific spy history. You can dress up and take a photo shoot too, towards the end. Beware of the dynamic pricing system. It's cheaper to buy the tickets online in advance. Many of the interactive exhibits were almost always occupied due to children/teens.

Great museum! We’re two adults and we both absolutely loved it - spent there around 3.5 hours. Very informative and interactive, absolutely loved the laser maze!

So much fun, spent 2.5 hours there and time passed like it was nothing. Museum is interactive, interesting and very informative at the same time. It's definitely a must see, fun activity, especially if you have kids but us (two girls in their early 20's had so much fun also)
