We stayed here one night as part of a tour with Troll Expeditions. Our group agreed this was our absolute favourite accommodation this entire trip. The cabins are charmingly rustic, and well equipped with every amenity possible, from kitchen to cookware, heated water, soap, toilet paper, hairdryer, kettle, and ample seating space. Beds were comfy, rooms were nice and warm. We caught the northern lights during our stay, and it was fun to be able to run in and out of the cabin whenever the lights appeared. Hosts were the loveliest and so helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, we loved the communal dining area, and the puppy was adorable. Wishing that your guesthouse and family will always do well :) Sending love from Asia!

Convenient location for our travels, we spent the night at the campground portion. Showers were nice and the kitchen area was nice. However, the washing machine was broke and took a long time to wash our load of laundry.

The campground was uneven and muddy, no renovation was done after the winter. Took quite a while to get the camper even. No power outages, which is a plus. The outdoor facilities were tired, toilets out of order. But the indoor facilities were fine. Has seen better days, but the location itself is great. I would be fine with the issues above this if the price hadn't doubled since last year.

Nice campground right in town. Heated kitchen area with plenty of tables and a couple of hot plates and sinks. Three showers in an open area with shower curtains. Everything was clean.

The bedroom size is just perfect. The compact kitchen is super helpfull to do a good meal (you can find everything you need there: cutlery, pan, salt, oil, etc). The bedroom has heater inside the toialet and nearby the bed, and it worked normally.

Stayed on the campsite. Paid 6200 for a camper with 2 persons, most expensive one on our 12 days of travel. Got moldy showers and a kitchen with zero equipment. The field was decent tho.

This guesthouse is rustic cabins in a campground. The owners are pleasant and accommodating. The cabins have a small kitchen area with cooktop and mini fridge plus table and chairs. The bathroom is an adequate size with a shower. The cabin is very warm and has a little porch. There is also a hot tub on premises. The thing we didn’t like here is that the double bed was in an alcove and you had to climb over your partner to get in and out of bed and go to the bathroom. We didn’t get a restful night’s sleep because we do need to go to the bathroom during the night so we were exhausted. The location is in a quiet side street not far from the city center and they offer a breakfast buffet. We didn't know it was a campground when we booked it or else we would have stayed elsewhere.

We only experienced the campground (campervan pitch) for a few nights. The location is great, right in the middle of Selfoss with close supermarkets, shops and several gas stations. But still, very quiet. Also close to many attractions by car. There are 2 toilets per gender outside but unfortunately those are very dirty (both men/women). So most people use the other 2 toilets inside that are cleaner (men/women also separated) and it can be pretty crowded in the bath area. 3 clean showers per gender but they are separated by a thin curtain that is also transparent so you can see your neighbours when they shower (no separate cabins). The dining room/kitchen is pleasant with several big tables, there are multiple hotplates and 2 sinks. The downside is that the stoves take ages to get hot so you have to wait so long to cook and it creates jams in the kitchen with so much people waiting… Whether you cook at 7pm or 9:30pm, the kitchen will be crowded. Overall correct but not outstanding.
