Google
beautiful kayaking experience with Steve, our guide, on the russian river for our thirtieth anniversary. It was so peaceful and we lucked out being the only ones on the river. We saw numerous birds and we were fortunate to see a couple river otters swimming along the shore. We will definitely try this again.

Google
Great experience, bikes were all new and in good condition. Max was great at getting things adjusted and lining us out. Rode the West Dry Creek road. Very nice. Definitely would rent from them again.

Google
Best way to see Alexander Valley!! Getaway are fantastic. Super, new top of the line e-bikes. The BEST wineries!! Made it up to the look out point at Lake Sonoma..

Google
What a great experience. The bikes were terrific. They brought us to wonderful vineyards and tour guides, Gwen and Julia were top-notch. Highly recommend RANDY and his team. BOOK!!You won’t be disappointed. Ride on my friends.

Google
Very well organized, great equipment, and exceptional hosts. We had a lot of fun, met a fun group of people and experienced a side of Sonoma County wineries that was entirely new. We highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking to see beautiful scenery, to have excellent wines and to have a fun and peaceful day.

Google
This is an adventure you need to experience! Being able to roll through the hills of Sonoma County on a bike and then be able to stop in wineries that truly take the time to take care of you. All I can think about is when will be my next tour! Thank you, Randy for being such a great guide

Google
Friendly service, great advice on routes, and reasonable prices. Rental bikes include a helmet, and they also provided a phone mount, handy for gps. Bikes offered are specialized road and hybrid bikes, plus some casual electric city bikes, and a whole fleet of Velotric electric T1 ST hybrids, which I didn't rent but know are great because I own one.

Google
All you could want for an amazing day!! Randy was our guide/owner/party-maker, the bikes were impeccably maintained, Holly, his asst, was super hospitable… and we were in wine country, with amazing views, perfect weather and great wineries. But why a bike vs a van or a chauffeur? Well - because you are “fully immersed in the experience”. Feel the micro-climates as you pedal, smell the changes in the soil and flora, and then have the freedom to just stop and appreciate the moment - we are in wine country and it’s beautiful …whooooot!!! To top it all off, my wife was celebrating her 50th. Lunch was extra special with a cake, wines (of course) and laughter. Thank you Randy. Appreciate you and the team. A very memorable and a exceptional experience.

Yelp
Great customer service and really good bikes. My wife and I rented Trek e-bikes for the day and it worked out visiting wineries along Dry Creek Road. Call or book ahead online

Yelp
There are not enough stars for this review! Every bit of this outfit is outstanding. The staff is friendly, informative and patient. The equipment is ideal for the area, with plenty off choices for more intense rides. The options for "trails" are urban for the local area, and north and south for the Wineries. We had a package deal that has a guide for the first day and on our own for the second day. Our guide, Taylor, was way cool. A local farmer/roadie/ San Fran local, with keen intel on the farming/bio-dynmic/ foodie/ family history. He clearly has a great history and relationship with the folks we stopped at and every bit was personable and flexible. He had an excellent read on the strength and weakness of the group. Overall, we did a gentle 20 miles on cushie bikes and drank a touch more wine then is good for willfully concurring the hills. We had a group of 6 and took a north loop that peaked at Quivira with the most spectacular bio-dynamic gardens. I mean bees, pigs, chickens and just the coolest raised beds I have ever seen. Seriously, I could happily retire and intern here. Our second day, was on our own on the southern route, me thinks just about 23 miles. My Aunt made it to Porter Creek (not on purpose) but I peaked at Thomas George Estate. We followed recommendations and lunched at Arista. Worthy!!! This is another heaven on Earth spot. It is not over rated. My only small complaint, on the second day (far beyond the control of the good folks at Wine County Bikes was the aggressive construction truck drivers. Mind you...there is a consistent "you're going to get hurt bad if you come off the road" with no clear bike lane. With that said the greater majority of cars, albeit fast, are very good about dealing with "tourist bike riders". Highly recommended!!!!!!

Yelp
Great shop. Friendly staff. We were in Sonoma this weekend for some touring and riding....uh oh brought wrong bike shoes. Owner Jeff hooked me up with some pedals that worked with the shoes i brought. Got them on quickly and we were on the road. He gave us a map with a couple routes and we enjoyed a couple back roads rides with virtually no traffic through vineyards and wineries into Napa. Nice supplies and rental bikes in the shop as well. Thanks for the great service

Yelp
The staff were super friendly and made sure we got the right size bikes and all the maps and directions we needed. Called a day ahead to reserve bikes and we were good to go! We enjoyed a lovely day riding through the vineyards and stopping at the Dry Creek General Store for lunch.

Yelp
The whole team/experience was great from a flawless reservation for 11 people on bikes, to the support and flexibility to allow for last minute cancellations due to the rain. Even though only 6 of us made it out, the company was happy to only charge for those who wanted to ride based on the crazy downpour we experienced in the morning. This gave my group huge flexibility to discuss and make a decision that was best for each individual. It took a great deal of stress away as we debating what our new plan when the weather was questionable. Once there, the bikes we got were excellent. They even allowed my boyfriend to exchange our two bike rentals for one tandem (yes....a tandem bike). To help relieve my fears and anxiety, they did let us try out the bikes (even the tandem) in the parking lot next door and made all necessary adjustments to ensure a comfortable and safe ride. In addition, they created maps for several members in our group so we all knew the route. The gave suggestions on routes with the least traffic, wineries to stop at and places to eat!. They also have a great road side support program if needed....luckily we did not! All in all amazing service and support! I will be back!

Yelp
My partner and I rented a tandem bike and went for a self guided tour through the Dry Creek Valley Out & Back trail. It was such an amazing experience. The tandem experience really tests your communication and trust with your partner. I'm an inexperienced rider, and I would never bike on my own, so being on a tandem bike was such a great experience. The views and wineries were great recommendations. I loved the Dry Creek General store, which the staff recommended as well. Parking was easy. We got to the shop around 10:30 to get an early start, since it gets hot later in the afternoon. Overall, the staff was great, they gave great customized recommendations for routes and the bike was in great condition.

Yelp
Service was great on the front end. We brought the bikes back 15 minutes before close and asked if we could still use the showers. The girl from Toronto who waited at the front desk seemed perturbed that we would ask to use them so close to closing time. She even turned around and looked at the clock and said yeah, but we're closing soon. And then seemed even more put out when we asked where towels were. We left one minute before they closed and said thank you so much and she practically sneered at my friends. Way to ruin a great experience.

Yelp
A great shoppe, staffed by very friendly, helpful people! We arrived at the shop a little before 11am and were smilingly greeted. As another group preceding us was being prepped for their ride, I walked around a bit, admiring the art/decor, the fleet of rental bikes, and browsed the wares; Wine Country Bikes doesn't just rent bikes, but is also a proper bicycle shop selling apparel, gear, nutrition, whatnot. After seeing off the previous group, the owner turned his attention to us, reintroduced himself, and chatted with us very conversationally about what we'd like to do for our bike tour, how intense/casual we'd wanted our cycling, what to expect, etc etc... He mapped out an excellent route for us and estimated our time from stop to stop, making key suggestions (lunch at Dry Creek General Store!) and recommendations (Quivira Wineyards). We walked through an overview of the bikes (Trek 24-speed hybrids for us - they also have bikes for the more leisure or more intent cycler), were outfitted with helmets, bike locks, and packs (one specifically for wine bottles), and sent on our merry way... And although we were a little late returning the bikes (5:00-ish?), they were very accommodating and understanding... (that last seven mile stretch takes longer when you've been drinking all afternoon... go figure!) Excellent service! Fantastic experience! Definitely coming back to do this again! _______________________________ Last year, we'd parked in downtown Healdsburg and walked from tasting room to nearby tasting room. It was a fun day, and an efficient way for our party of 8 to wine the day away. But this year, our smaller group of 4 decided to tour/trek through the vineyards by bicycle. Inspiring, exhausting, altogether indelibly memorable...

Yelp
My family and I did the one-day classic dry creek valley bike tour and it was the highlight of our trip to California's wine country. The tour included 25 miles of biking along a quiet road with rolling hills. The bikes were incredibly comfortable and easy to use (and the two bottle wine pack on the back was a great bonus!). The scenery was beautiful (despite the cloudy December day) and it was a great way to explore an area I might not have otherwise found. We visited 3 wineries (Bella, Quivira, and Dry Creek Vineyard) and tasted 15 fantastic and unique wines (the tasting fees were not included in the price of the tour but were waived by the wineries with a purchase). Our tour guide Jay was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the region, current wine making practices, and the wineries we visited. It was a pleasure spending the day with him and he really went out of his way to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. It was a carefree and seamless day. The food on the tour was also fantastic. We had two vegans and a dairy-free eater in our party, but the bike shop was able to accommodate everyone. They provided water, a snack, and lunch (which we ate al fresco at Quivira). Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend the bike tour to anyone looking for a fun and truly unique way to experience the dry creek valley.

Yelp
My friends and I decided to go bike riding to the wineries and Wine Country Bikes was very friendly, warm, and professional. Their shop is very clean, the staff is very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. They even suggested a good route since half the day was gone already. Plus there's cute, friendly dogs running around in there. :)

Yelp
This is the most amazing bicycle rental shop. Ever. When my parents and brother were in town last week, they rented bikes from Wine Country Bikes for 3 consecutive days. My parents rented hybrids, and my brother rented as carbon, Trek, road bike. The people at the shop recommended routes for us, and gave us maps and cue sheets. The physical shop is very nice. They even have art on the walls! The best part, though, is that they have showers for when you are done with the ride. The showers were clean, the towels were fluffy. They even let me and my boyfriend use the showers, even though we had our own bikes, and did not rent from them. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone who wants to rent bikes up in Healdsburg.
google avatar

Monica N.

Yelp
My husband and I visited there this summer and rented a tandem bicycle from them. Very helpful and friendly, made great recommendations on where to ride. We had a such a FUN time. Very nice that they had showers to use as well at the end of our ride. Highly recommend!! :-D

Yelp
Our day trip with Jay was incredible. Wonderful countryside and wine tasting. The lunch they provided was spectacular. Bikes were new and in great condition. Looking into doing longer trips with them in the future.

Yelp
This is a great place to rent a bicycle to cycle around Healdsburg. Friendly staff will equip you with a range of bicycles. You can order online and for some models, specify what types of pedals you want on the bike. I ended up getting a Torpedo Tandem bike - a mid-range (still 5K tandem) for the day and was able to get SPD pedals on the front and toe-clips on the back for my wife, who was less experienced. Even better, they let me pick up the bike the day before my day rental since it was available. In the store they have a nice route map that takes you around Healdsburg (around 25 miles...or extends to 30+ if you're up for it). There are showers and restrooms in the store if you also want to change. Finally, they do have locks and helmets for you to use during the day. Highly recommend getting a bike here for a day in Healdsburg. It's a great way to see the area - just don't drink and ride!

Yelp
this little bike shop is so fun. you immediately notice the great artwork through out and the setup is perfect -- the front has a garage door opened up so you can bike right in. We came in here a little last minute to rent bikes for a ride through the wine country and it couldn't have been easier. We were in/out with paperwork, bikes and a trusty map within 15 minutes. Check out was just as quick and easy, the people working there are informative and helpful. Definitely rent bikes here and have fun enjoying the amazing wine country scenery. Also worth noting, they have excellent taste in music and really clean bathrooms.

Yelp
Rented a bike from here yesterday (Sunday) and had a very pleasant experience, would definitely recommend it to Healdsburg visitors. Service was friendly and prompt (we didn't have a reservation, but they had plenty of bikes available) and I appreciated the bright and open layout of the shop plus fun artwork (paintings of dogs). It is located a few blocks outside of downtown, which meant that we could leave our car on the street all day and not worry about a ticket (all the spots in downtown have a 3-hour limit). Huge plus. The gear/accessories in the shop is also decent...I picked up a pair of biking gloves for $22 and another couple came in and outfitted themselves in gear for the day, including shirts and helmets. Good things all around. Oh, and the bikes come with a little pack on the back that fits 2-3 wine bottles (with insulation) - definitely came in handy!
google avatar

Carlton W.

Yelp
Rented bikes from this place, I'm a huge fan! Strangely you need to ask to put the wine holder thingie on the back. So be sure to do that--how else are you going to carry the wine you buy? I've rented here twice and they have excellent service. They'll take the time to explain the different route options and to adjust your bike. And they always seem to have plenty of bikes in stock, so you don't need to make a reservation. If they ever do run out, there's a place just to the west that rents bikes too (haven't tried them so I can't recommend, but they have a sign advertising rentals). On my second ride my tire blew out. I stopped at the nearest winery and called Wine Country Bikes. They sent someone out immediately and fixed the tire within a half hour while we did some wine tasting. That's great service! I highly recommend this business.

Yelp
We booked a Sonoma bike tour (just my husband and I) through Wine Country bikes. It was terrific! Bikes, staff and routes were excellent, hats off to John and his team. They made our trip perfect. And at the end went above and beyond to help us out. We'll definitely book again!
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I did their 5-day self-guided Sonoma County bike tours as part of our honeymoon in May. It could not have been more perfect. We chose the luxury lodging package and it was completely worth it! When we showed up at their shop, they pulled out the Sonoma County biking map on which they had drawn our route and talked us through the entire route. They marked the wineries, restaurants, and day trips they recommended, and every one of their recommendations was well worth it--they never steered us wrong in any detail. Since it was our honeymoon, we loved that they transported our luggage for us from B&B to B&B each night. It was wonderful being able to pack a few big suitcases instead of only packing what we could carry on our backs. Plus they let us store some stuff at their store that we didn't want transported all around the county all week. Every little detail was wonderful, every person at the shop was incredibly nice and eager to please, and we can't wait to come back and rent from them again.

Yelp
Holy smokes! What a fun day! Not our typical vacation outing, hard work and some sweat but so much fun. Thank you to, Tac, our guide. Excellent service! Would recommend.
google avatar

Julie C.

Yelp
If you can request a tour guide, request TAC! His tour made our trip absolute fantastic. It was like spending the day with a fun family member! This experience was the highlight of our trip...The staff was quick and courteous, knowledgeable and accommodating to our group. The picnic lunch they serve is OUTSTANDING. A variety of gourmet sandwiches, fresh salad, and to die for chocolate cake. Each vineyard we visited welcomed us with open arms and delicious wine. The relationship between the vineyards and WCT makes for an experience at each vineyard unforgettable! I highly recommend this company!
google avatar

Sripal M.

Yelp
We brought our own bikes up, but we stopped in the shop to get our tired pumped up and get some info. They were super nice and helpful! Would definitely recommend them.

Yelp
Our week long luxury B&B tour of Sonoma & Napa counties with Wine Country Bikes was like a dream. The staff are incredibly friendly and spend time riding the routes themselves so they know exactly how to prepare you for each day's ride. There were even a couple of days where we wanted to alter the route slightly in order to hit a few different wineries, and John was kind enough to take time to review the new route with us and upload it into our GPS. Logistically, WCB thinks of everything for you! The bikes are high end and well maintained. You are provided with a map, cue sheets, a GPS, and information about sights to see along the route for each day. One of the staff will review everything with you so that you are prepared for what is coming up and can ask questions. We were given racks with bags to carry our odds and ends for each day, and our luggage was always waiting for us when we got to our destination for the night. If you want to order wine from any of the wineries you stop at, they will pick them up for you and have them waiting for you at the end of your tour. All we had to do was relax, spin our legs, and take in the beautiful scenery of the different valleys and coast. We can't wait to take our next tour with them!
google avatar

Alia S.

Yelp
Mike or miles , I don't remember his name was a little rude to me this morning but overall the service is nice. Bikes are new and didn't make any problems while I was using it. Location I local and close to the park that I love. My boyfriend and his friend also were with us and loved the bikes too.
google avatar

Jen M.

Yelp
Me and 6 girlfriends went to Healdsburg to celebrate my 40th birthday last weekend. I really wanted to do a bicycle tour and I kept gravitating towards Wine Country Bikes - mostly because of the positive comments. I communicated with Andy over the phone and email before the trip and he was so helpful and friendly! The bikes were in great condition and Andy made sure we were on the right size for our height. All the bikes had a small front pack to keep your phone, camera, and wallet. And there was a bag on the back that would hold 3 bottles of wine. We did the self guided tour and had a blast! We liked being on our own because it felt like more of an adventure and we could stay or skip whatever wineries we wanted to that day. A few of us returned the next day to rent bikes again and visit the wineries we missed on the first day in Dry Creek. I highly recommend WCB's and make sure you meet Andy and Joe - they made our adventure so much fun!

Susi F.

Yelp
We rented a tandem bike for our anniversary weekend in Healdsburg (early May). The folks at Wine Country Bikes were awesome! So helpful in making recommendations about where to stop along the route (we did the Dry Creek Valley ride) and just overall nice people. The bike was in great shape and had saddle bags for us to store our purchases and lunch (not too big, but big enough for our needs). They provided a lock and would have had helmets, too, but we'd brought our own. Overall, the tandem experience was a hoot (a true exercise in communication!) and we had a great ride! Would highly recommend Wine Country Bikes to anyone looking for a more active way to enjoy the beautiful countryside with some wine tasting alongside.
google avatar

Caroline H.

Yelp
Unbelievable selection of bikes for the avid cyclist. Have jerseys, helmets, socks, sleeves, and snacks if you need those, too. Bikes are hyper personalized from the pedals to the saddle. Staff is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We chose a recommended 70 mile route out to the coast and the female staff member who mapped it out for us knew every turn, climb and road condition. Worth the price.
google avatar

Amy B.

Yelp
We took the classic wine country bike tour, it seems that no one else has reviewed the tour, just the shop. The shop was a typical bike shop, with the exception of a lot of bikes. Must be that during the warmer weather they do multiple tours. We happened to be the only ones on our tour, but it was a bit chilly that day... Jay was our tour guide, he was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. We signed our lives away and were fitted with bikes and helmets. We rode a little way through town and turned onto West Dry Creek Road. We then proceeded to ride through some amazing wine country. I was hurting a bit but my husband had no trouble keeping up with our guide. We stopped at three wineries, Bella, Quivira and Dry Creek. Jay had tons of information on the area and on the wineries. It was quite enjoyable to listen to him, we learned about the history of the vineyards and how they are run/managed. We bought a couple bottles of wine that were picked up by the bike shop and were waiting for us when we were done. We had a snack at Bella and a very nice lunch under the trees at Quivira. the snack was grapes, cheese and crackers and for lunch there was excellent sandwiches, a nice salad and strawberries with chocolate. We got back to the bike shop around 4ish, I was pretty tired by then and a little sore. Jay gave us some more information about restaurants and directions and even pulled out a map and showed us the best (read: no traffic and very scenic) way back to where we were staying. I'm glad I did the tour, but I need to be in better shape if I do another one!
google avatar

Bill L.

Yelp
Anya was a fantastic help in showing us the ropes. If you want a fun tour, this is the place! :-)
google avatar

Sabrina F.

Yelp
Very happy with my experience at WCB. Their bike inventory was ample and customer experience was great. Getting into town later in the afternoon, I wanted to be able to rent a bike for 24hrs so I could hit the road early in the AM (shop opens at 10am). I had no problem with my request and found WCB to be very accommodating. Plus, their bikes have coolers to keep you picnic and wine chilled.
google avatar

Justin K.

Yelp
Instead of driving around to all the wineries in Sonoma, we opted for a healthier approach and went with bikes. We decided to give Wine Country Bikes a go because they did have some great reviews on Yelp and they had the best deal. The first day was a guided tour that took us about 25 miles or so. Beautiful ride and our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the wineries. The day included 4 wineries, a snack, a lunch and waters for us. They also stopped in and picked up all the wine we purchased so that we did not have to attempt to fit them on our bikes. The second day was a self guided tour. They did give us directions on the best way to go and was very helpful with selecting other wineries to stop and visit. Every staff member was very nice and helpful. If we ever do return to Healdsburg I would definitely use their services again! Thank you Wine Country Bike for adding to our awesome vacation!!
google avatar

Bryce B.

Yelp
Super friendly staff, cannot underscore that enough. They have a good variety of bikes, from basic comfort bikes up through high-end road racing mounts. All appear to be well maintained. Being unsure of the area from a cycling perspective, the person that helped us out suggested several routes. The shop is very clean and organized, with a good selection of apparel and accessories (including an unsurpassed inventory of bike bells). Highly recommended.
google avatar

Kevin K.

Yelp
Great ride today. Staff was very helpful with suggested routes. Trek 7.5 was in great shape and fun to ride. Definitely recommended.
google avatar

Kathy M.

Yelp
This is a fantastic way to see Wine country and the staff are always super friendly and knowledgeable. I came up this past weekend with a couple of girlfriends and they gave us all the information we needed and helped us plan out the best route since it was passport weekend and many of the Dry Creek wineries were closed for a special event. The bikes were custom sized with comfy seats and plenty of storage for the wine you bought! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and fun way to explore the area.
google avatar

Hope T.

Yelp
A great store with the cutest/coolest clothes! And Joe could not be nicer. He adjusted my bike rack (wound up re-doing it) when my bike rack was wiggling. All without me buying a thing in the store! I highly recommend stopping in for a bike map, a great new outfit or a bike!
google avatar

Atopchef A.

Yelp
Nice guys, a little pricy, but a wide selection of bikes from a cruiser to a graphite road bike. Book in advance in order to make sure you get what you want.
google avatar

Zachary M.

Yelp
Great place. Very friendly guys working there. All there bikes are in good condition and are ideal for touring around the country side at a leisurely pace. They all have packs for your stuff and food. They were knowledable about the area, gave us a couple of possible routes and directed us towards a fantastic deli to get sandwhiches for a picnic. Price was decent, $33 for the day. Taking our own bikes was the way to go, versus doing a tour. Would go back here if in the area again.

kimber m.

Yelp
Everyone here is amazing!!! I felt like they truely cared about what we wanted on this trip, they were also very enthusiastic about they trip.pointing out their personal favorite parts. such as the challenging "Overlook" in healdsberg. they are Very organizzed, give you a personalized intererary, printed for my convience. We felt very confident with every mile we took! Every person that works here is knowledgable, and only wants the very best outcome for you! We flew in from Denver, co and took the 6 day sonoma wine tour. I would Highly recommend this company. They are always available by phone if you need anything. Thanks guys - we had the time of our lives!!! 200 miles and counting.

Henry N.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about the business and the people who run it. My son and I took a 4-day trip. Before it even started I called several times for information and advice and they were so accommodating. On the day the tour started, Jon spent a good hour and a half going over the tour, programming the GPS on our bikes and fitting and adjusting the bikes. The accommodations along the way were fine, with the H2 being exceptional. I would heartily recommend this company and the tours it runs.

Yelp
Where do I begin?! My husband and I visited Healdsburg during our honeymoon this past October, and we had the extreme good fortune to experience a bike tour with "Tac" of Wine Country Bikes!! The bike tour was, hands down, the highlight of our honeymoon! And it was all because of Tac! He was knowledgeable, fun, and a great tour guide!! When we initially met with Tac, he asked whether we wanted to have a casual ride or get a little exercise. We wanted to experience everything we could, so we opted to get a little exercise. :) We ended up riding 25 miles and visiting 4 wineries. The scenery was picturesque throughout the ride and Tac was a wonderful compliment with his stories and information. If we ever go back to visit wine country, this will be a must do for me and my husband! :) Thanks, Tac!! :)

John C.

Yelp
This place is great. The folks were very helpful on the phone and even more so when we arrived. We did not use the guided tour, but did not need to. The directions and maps provided were sufficient to enjoy a wonderful Labor Day in the wine country, down to the map holders on the handlebars to the great lunch suggestion (Dry Creek General Store) to the insulated and roomy bags on the bikes. The bikes themselves were good quality Trek comfort style geared bikes and were in superb working order. The people at the shop made sure we had the right sized bikes and instructed us how to adjust the seats for a perfect fit. I definitely recommend this shop. All this at what I considered a very fair price.
google avatar

Gary S.

Yelp
I haven't taken on of their tours but I did buy one of their used bikes. And they did a nice job of working with me to get the correct fit and answer all my questions. Good people to work with.
google avatar

Ann F.

Yelp
We rented from them today. Did anyone notice the 98 degree temperature outside? It was HOT. But renting from the nice guy who made sure we got maps, helmets, water and showed us how to adjust everything was a good start. Even when we got totally lost on the way back (thanks to Brendan and Nina for rescuing us) and were late to return they were really cool about it. I would definitely do the bike winery thing again, but maybe not on such a hot day. Inner tubing and kayaking on russian river plus that great beach right near the bike place looked awesome.

Yelp
It's very easy to walk in an rent a bike. The staff is knowledgeable about routes and can help you plan a day-trip or an overnight trip. We rented two bikes for a day trip and had a nice 10-mile ride. The bikes are in excellent working condition and have little packs on the front and back for that extra bottle of wine you might purchase. Helmets are included and required. They also give you a lock with your rental. They have fun shirts and paraphernalia for sale; be sure to wash the shirts separately, even on cold, or you'll end up with color-transfer... :-(

Yelp
We rented bikes here for the day on a Sunday. I had made a reservation ahead of time and our bikes were ready and waiting, comfy seats, handlebar bags and insulated picnic bags on the back. They offer more hardcore tours but my sisters and i just wanted to bike wine country. We could not have been happier with Wine Country bikes. They gave us a map with a couple of paths of differing lengths in Dry Creek, suggestions for lunch places and options of distances and paths. We had a fantastic day and opted for a second day. They stepped up with a completely different path of Russian River valley options. This place is a first class operation, the bikes are in really good shape, the staff knowledgeable and amenable, and they even included locks and ponchos in the bag just in case.

Yelp
We rented 4 bikes for a week from WCB. They were super helpful on the phone, and even more helpful once we got there. They have excellent maps of the area and can help you plan your route accurately based on the degree of difficulty. The bikes were all tuned perfectly - no balky shifting, no brakes rubbing, proper supplies in case we had a flat, etc. I can't recommend these guys enough!

Yelp
This was our second guided tour with Wine Country Bikes in Healssburg and tour guide Jay. It was very enjoyable, informative, and the bikes were great. Lunch was fantastic. This tour is a great way to take in some local wineries. Highly recommended.

Yelp
From planning, to arrival, through departure, I cannot think of a better, more personalized experience from a tour company. The bikes, and the route planning were designed specifically to our desire and needs. Recommendations were made based upon the kind of riders we are and last minute adjustments were made without any hicup or implication that it was a hassle. The best part was that they were also quite willing to pick up the wine that we acquired along the way and deliver it to our hotel for sorting. One of us checked luggage and bubble wrap appeared to ensure a break-free arrival. The other wanted the wine shipped and Wine Country happily faciliated that by picking up those bottles and delivering them to a local shipping company. An all-around terrific experience. All of this at a very reasonable price. I've been recommending them to all of my friends and I'll be back!
