We preferred the Versailles Palace tour. The tour guide was attentive and spoke good English. They provided sufficient and satisfying information about the palace. We had a problem with the sound at first, but they fixed it later.

We purchased the Palace of Versailles tour and it was definitely worth it for our group. Our tour guide Aurelia spoke English well and was very informative and interesting. We were glad we just didn’t wander the palace on our own.

Do yourself a favor and read the rest of the negative reviews here. I wish I had before I booked with this company. We had two tours yesterday out of Le Havre France. My wife and daughters had a great time on theirs, but my and my sons and father in laws tour to Normandy consisted of a regular taxi with fold down jump seats in the back so we could all fit in the car. We paid a lot for a seven passenger vehicle to have an extra space and an English speaking driver. None of this was true. They just had a regular taxi show up. Even the guide we hired said it was weird. Then at the end of the tour, using a translation app, the taxi driver insisted that we owed him €50 more (after we tipped him) and wouldn’t let us leave without paying him. Upon talking with customer service at GetYourGuide, they told us that they had provided what was described and apologize for any “confusion.” Buyer beware, and don’t expect any help making things right.

Get your Guide Paris:louvre with intro to Mona Lisa. Do not book this through Get your Guide it is over priced! You can purchase a general admission ticket to the Louvre and get the same access as we did. We paid an additional $60 per person on top of the admission price for a guide to walk us across the street.

Booked multiple attractions through GetYourGuide (Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, and more) and everything was smooth and super easy to use. Tickets arrived instantly, skip-the-line options were a game changer, and the whole process saved us so much time. Highly recommend!

I booked a tour through GetYourGuide to visit Giverny and see Monet’s house. I specifically chose the Portuguese-language tour — and paid significantly more for it. However, I was surprised to find that the guide, although very kind, did not speak Portuguese. The explanations were given in English and French, with occasional comments in Spanish. This was extremely disappointing, as I selected this tour precisely because it was advertised in Portuguese — I do not understand other languages, and it was very important to me to fully grasp what was being said during the visit. I feel that the company sold a service it does not actually provide. I felt deceived and wronged. Based on this terrible experience, I do not recommend this service to anyone.

Marcel was timely efficient and very knowledgeable. The whole process was super easy which removed all stress. Versailles gets 15 million visitors a year so be prepared for some congestion. The tour helps you circumvent the lines and the headsets make it easy to hear your guide.

Do not book the shuttles! They will say they were there and waiting, but it must have been in an unmarked van sitting in the dark at ORLY, because I looked for 30 minutes with a 8 year old in tote. No one was there looking for us and when I tried to call the number it went to an automated message system. It felt like a scam, no recall or attempt to make it right. You are just out of luck in Paris. Eventually, I had to call a G7.
