Peanut butter soup with goat n fish.. Food was prepared well. Goat was super tender. Since every place I go the goat is hard n chewy. It's a hole in the wall but great. Food was seasoned well just the right amount of pepper whereby u can still enjoy the food. And the portion was great for the price. I hope they joloff be good. If it is, then it's gonna be my "Food home" spot to go. Medasse

They have everything you need but customer service does not exist. No hello, no have a nice day, no can I help you find anything. The lady with the bleached face by the hot food section appears to be mad at the world. I won't be back.

It was actually my first time trying food from here and the fish was hard and filled with scales all over the fish. It wasn’t a good customer service when we took the time to tell them our problem they said there was nothing they could do about it and they don’t do refunds, normally if anyone knows cooking any small fish, it’s supposed to be soft, unless it’s fried and left to be dried out on paper towels overall, I read the food a is zero out of 10 I read the customer service zero out of 10.. my girlfriend is Ghanaian and I’ve tried her mom’s food plenty of times and whenever she tells me she’s bringing me food I get excited this food here is trash overall

If I could give a 0 star , it won’t be enough. The old management at this place was the best .under this new management, the boy at the cashier is clueless and don’t know nothing. There are two rude women who don’t know the meaning of customer service.serving me with her dirty hands and eating fish while packing up the things I bought.I’ve been going to this place for over 4yrs and the old man and his son were super professional…very unprofessional woman who don’t know what is called customer service.I regret going there and I vowed to tell all my friends never to go there.

I ordered food from there and there was a bin full of smoked chicken. It had maggots crawling all at the bottom. I just paid for the food and threw it out when I got home. I didn’t have the energy to even argue with anyone. It was a lost but it wasn’t worth the risk. It’s just unsanitary. I would never go back there again.

Very disappointed 😞 😔 I've been coming to this place for 5yrs out if the 8yrs i lived in this area to get dinners especially since I've been to Ghana n have a lot of Ghanaian coworkers. I've been away for 7mths just landed last night 9/22/23 and the ONLY thing I was craving was African food. I walked 45mins one way n back (90mins) in the rain just to get food. I didn't get the order I wanted which was okra stew n fish. She brought fish with palm stew instead and I got light soup with goat meat. One with kenke* other with fufu. The light soup was full of TOUGH skin n the meat was hard n chewy. The palm sauce/stew was SUPER spicy. And it was separated. The "old Ghanaian way" had the fish in the sauce and the spice was medium heat. I enjoyed the food back then n i could taste the food n not just pepper. They understood that not everyone could handle it too spicy. No im NOT an Akata! They need to talk to the old owner or whomever was cooking before and have them come back. Look at the ratings from 10mths ago. None of the 2 dinners I bought I enjoyed. NONE! I had to still go get Jamaican food. I didn't want Jamaican food!! I'm so pissed cause after 7mths from being out the country and the state this is what I was looking fwd to and I'm disappointed n pissed.😤😤😤 When I called to complain they told me to call back at 6pm cause they taking orders and to talk to someone else. ☹️. 2 stars was for the presentation

This is the place to do all your grocery shopping. There is a lot of parking. All you want to make African and international cuisine you can get all ingredients there. If you want food to take home to enjoy with the family you can get it from there too. I recommend Ghanaianway to food lovers.
