We stayed there about a month ago and thought it was great! It was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. There was a nice view of the valley and the breakfast snacks were tasty. We appreciated that they came with fresh fruit and kept us going until lunch. I would stay here again.

Wonderful gem to spend a night or two. Small room, but so very clean and well kept. We stayed in the Cleopatra room which was on the first floor. The bathroom had been upgraded with glass enclosed stall shower, sink, and was quite nice. The bedroom, although small, was sweet and warm. There are little touches by the owner that you can tell come from the heart and make you feel you are staying in someone's home. The lobby area has coffee and muffins for breakfast that are fresh and yummy. The view from the room and porch are magnificent! Short walk or drive to main part of town. Definitely will make a return trip.

Placed near all the restaraunts and etc in jerome, no huge walks, but its lower elevation so theres a good bit of uphill walking to get to most of the nearby businesses. The rooms are small, with little space, but they are well kept and clean. Of course its important to keep in mind that this building was originally a house and not a hotel so its actually pretty cool how they worked around the limitations of using the floor plan of a large house instead of that of a hotel. Each room is kind of differently themed and decorated, which is neat. The decor and everything here is super cool, the innkeeper, Richard, is a friendly and helpful guy. Meeting him was a pleasure, and he helped us out a lot with a problem with our reservation and promptly cleans rooms. There are some things about the place that are a bit inconvenient, such as there being only a single refridgerator and microwave in the entire building. Also, its probably out of their control, but this place could really use more than 2 designated parking spaces, since it has a total of 6 rooms people can stay in. Of course jerome was built before the existence of cars, so parking was not really something they considered during city planning. Anyways, I do have a couple of concerns. For one, a section of the floor of the upstairs balcony outside the verde view room i think it was called, has a soft spot near the door and a heavy enough person may trigger a collapse. Next, the stairs leading to the second level are outdoors, and during my stay there was snow and rain coupled with sustained cold temperatures. I saw a couple spots where grip tape had been applied, but its mostly worn off... i think those stairs could really use some salt treatment and grip tape to increase safety during ice conditions. also, those stairs leading from the lobby to the garden have a railing that is wobbly and seems prone to collapse, if someone slipped on the icy stairs and tried to catch themselves, i fear the railing would fail and the person would fall. Some of the boards in the upstairs outdoor walkway that connects the americana room to the garden are either loose or soft as well. Overall, i think this place is cool, but it seems like it needs a few repairs. This hotel is really quiet and is a nice place to relax, so its probably great for couples and solo travellers. If you have 3 or more people and want to stay here, i would personally suggest booking more than one room if possible. Overall, i think it is worth staying here, but you need to be sure that it is the right choice for you, and suits your desires for vacationing here. When the weather is clear, the view you can get from the windows and balcony on the road-facing side of the building is pretty good. Probably not the best view in all of jerome, but its nice and i enjoyed it. Staying here is certainly a unique experience, this place has a lot of character. Just be sure to watch your step entering any of the bathrooms, theres a tiny step as the bathrooms floor is slightly higher than the room's floor. Be prepared for a small, slightly inconvenient shower. This place is pretty cool, an the inconveniences that come with it are managable; but it could use some maintenance on the stairs, balcony, and walkways. Once again, thanks for your help, Richard! Meeting you was a pleasure.

This place was great! They had coffee and snacks in their lobby. We were upstairs, but this room was cute. We had an Americana themed room. The staff was nice and friendly too. Clean and comfortable room! It was right in the middle of Jerome, so it was the perfect location. They also had games to play in their lobby, so we played chess. How fun!

This is the most amazing place. Such history and such a unique place. The owners have taken great lengths to perserve the history and make it inviting. The ghost lore is quite fascinating as well, but don't let it scare you. It's part of the rich history of the town.

We spent the weekend at Ghost City Inn and experienced excellent customer service from prior to check-in until after we'd checked out. The accommodations were perfect. Antique furniture, lobby/dining area had a wonderful atmosphere, and sitting on the front porch watching the sunrise was great. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast bites were yummy. The rooms are small, but perfectly comfortable.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Jerome is a fascinating town and the fact that terrific building still stands after all that has befallen this mystic place is just great. My fiancé, her son and myself stayed in the Miners Suite in mid January 2025. It was so comfy and outfitted in turn of the century nostalgia. The breakfast in the common area was also very nice where we could drink coffee, play chess or just listen to old phonograph music of yore. There was also a great view of the canyon below the mountain that showcased the moon as it rose, while the sun set. I would never get tired of that view.

Kudos for sticking to your guns. These folks offer no wiggle room on their no refund policy for an honest emergency and four days' notice from us. Their offered solution was for us to give the room to someone else. (Not sure who that was meant to be) A future credit could have been a nice option. But NOOOOO. Unfortunately, this heartless capitalism has soured us on Jerome in general. Bummer.
