Google
We took the Ghosts & Gravestones Tour in St. Augustine and had an absolutely awesome time! The entire experience was spooky, entertaining, and full of great stories about the city’s haunted history. I also want to give a HUGE shout-out to the team — Thomas, Steve, Randy, and Michael. Each one of them brought so much energy, personality, and knowledge to the tour. They worked together seamlessly and made the whole night unforgettable. Our guide was fantastic, the stops were creepy in the best way, and the storytelling kept us hooked from start to finish. If you’re visiting St. Augustine and want something fun and spooky to do at night, this tour is a must! Great job to the entire crew! 👻🖤

Leaving a review after our third ride as every time it just gets better. This year our driver and host were William & Jack. The entire tour was super informative but also fun. It’s great for kids as well and they provide them 3D glasses for them to wear along the tour. They als provided everyone with a poncho as it had been raining on and off. We also finally snapped a pic of a ghost at the Old Jail. Definitely will be back again!

Kenneth S.

Google
Had an amazing and fun night! Thanks to William and Chuckles our tour guide and bus driver. William was professional and entertaining. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting St Augustine. We found a few other characters along the way as well.

Google
We chose the haunted ghost tour instead of the Nights of Lights Christmas week in St. Augustine. We were not disappointed! All of the cast members performed perfectly and made it an enjoyable event. The icing on the cake was to be able to see all of the lights as well as the old jail and the original wax museum by the old cemetery. We weren’t expecting to get the additional tours so that was an extra treat.

Stephanie D.

Google
Luna and Jack Knife were amazing! Luna was informative and animated throughout the entire tour! The executioner in the wax museum did a great job describing the history behind the Englishman Andrew. Jack Knife was a fantastic driver and courteous while driving! Charlie was detailed throughout the jail tour and was animated giving his spooky stories of the old St. Augustine jail. We appreciate your tours! Thank you again!

Rob

Google
Really enjoyed this tour. The host and actors did a great job with their stories and it was a blast to go through the wax museum and the old jail at night. Good creepy fun. They had a creepy waiting area at the beginning that required a sneaky way out ala the Haunted Mansion. Wish I could remember the hosts name as she did a great job putting a lot of humor and energy into the tour. Alas, I reviewed my picture roll and no ghosts, although there was a troll-looking shape by a tree. Might have been a rock, haha.

Google
The St. Augustine Ghosts and Graveyards Tour was such a fun experience! The staff did an amazing job making it entertaining and engaging for both adults and kids. The stories were a perfect mix of spooky and historical, and riding through the city at night really added to the atmosphere. It’s a great way to see St. Augustine from a different perspective, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

Google
Such a cool experience. So much to see and learn about. Highly recommend this! So cool to see stuff at night. We got to see everything during the day and at night. And the tour guide was wonderful!!

Yelp
I absolutely loved it. I love horror movies. Creepy documentaries. I cannot do haunted houses and actual jump scares. This was a great tour of the dark creepy history of the town. Lot of the stories we heard prompted us to look up and read up on later. We did it the nights of lights premier day, we got to see the lights too! Dana was our ghost host and Chuckles and C4 our drivers, they all did great! I was creeped out and intrigued. I will say I didn't go into the jail as she warned it's dark and hard for some people. My husband did go on up and he said it was creepy but interesting.

Yelp
Fun tour! Learned a bit about St. Augustine's under belly. The cast was great and the jail was a fun touch!

Yelp
My family and I had a great time on this night time tour of Old St. Augustines darker history with a twist, spooky but with some laughs too. I recommend touring with Violet, she is a really great story teller and host. She really gets into character making you feel you have been transported back in time. The Executioner was convincing at the wax museum and the other actors at the jail house made it fun but shivered my timbers also. Chuckles was the bus driver and he made sure we watched our step in a spooky way. I would recommend it from teens to adults.

I like t.

Yelp
Our tour guide, Luna was fantastic! Would recommend if you're in the St. Augustine area!!
google avatar

Allysa M.

Yelp
My family and I decided to book a last minute ghost adventure at Ghost and Gravestone in Saint Augustine on my night off. Our ghost host was Violet, who did an amazing job telling ghost stories and local history. She was really into character and was the highlight of our experience. Definitely worth the trip if you're visiting Saint Augustine, or even if you're a local like myself!

Yelp
Totally recommended I went on the tour with Rubi, Charlie was our host at the jail. We had a lot of fun. This tour is very entertaining. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This trolley tour is fun to do one time. The stories were pretty good, the actors were great. We stopped off at an old cemetery, the potter wax museum and the old jail. It was cool being in those places at night and after hours. Everyone at the trolley depot was nice and helpful, free parking was a bonus.
google avatar

Christine J.

Yelp
Our tour guide Cass did a fantastic job. I only wish the tour was longer. I would've liked to spend more time in the book room at the beginning and learned about the items in it.

Aidan M.

Yelp
Ghosts and Gravestones St. Augustine was absolutely wonderful! My not-blood sister Claire saw a spooky little ghost at the Old Town Jail! Cheeky lil bastard got away. In that same spooky jail my not-blood brother Evan filmed quite the video! Go below to see it. Overall I was spooked at a medium degree--it wasn't too scary but it still shocked the bones. I enjoyed the experience, and would recommend it to anyone! p.s: boo! haha scared you!
google avatar

Stacy H.

Yelp
Our guide Ivy and driver jack were great. Ivy clearly loves her job and is amazing. Kevin as the executioner and Lorelei as the inmate were also so much fun.
google avatar

Jenni Q.

Yelp
We had a frightfully fun time on the Ghosts & Gravestones Tour. Our guide was very entertaining. I enjoyed her stories. We went to the Potters Wax Museum and had some spooky tales while inside. The Old Jail was really spooky at night and learned some great history about the town. I recommend taking the trip.
google avatar

Illyana P.

Yelp
My husband and I came in from Tampa to st Augustine! It was a long and awaited trip we both have been wanting to take! I booked the tour with ghosts and gravestones! We enjoyed everything about it. Cassandra was our tour guide, she was awesome! The stories she told were good and spooky. She knew a good amount of history and is an excellent tour guide. We enjoyed going around and seeing the different spots of the beautiful town. I just wish the tour was a little longer so we could spend more time at each spot, other than that it was perfect.

Yelp
More ghost stories than anything else. The staff working this tour did an incredible job with their stories, descriptions and acting. The tour begins at the welcome center next to Ripley's. We chose the 8:40 tour and I am glad since the tour would not have been as enjoyable during daylight. Once checked in, you are moved to a room that had some really interesting items. Unfortunately, because the tour is so packed and the room so small, looking at everything was impossible. Once our tour guide, Luna, arrived, the tour began. We departed for the tour shuttle and headed into town. Our first stop was the cemetery outside of Potter's Wax Museum, then time in the museum (both in the old drugstore section and back into the wax museum). We also spent a lot of time inside the Old Jail. I think many of us were expecting something more from this experience, so it was a little disappointing.

Yelp
Had a blast doing the ghosts and graveyard tour!!! We had a ball!! Phoebe was knowledgeable and very entertaining!!! It was definitely worth the money!! We are planing another visit and another tour!!! Everyone with this company was courteous and pleasant from the check in till the end of the tour!! Y'all are doing it right!!!

Mike W.

Yelp
Our guide, Liotta, our driver, Dangerous Deb, The Executioner, and "Charlie" were great. The stories and the details of the stories were good. However, my group all agreed that there was something missing to really give it a 5 star rating. The tour is very kid friendly so maybe a real "scare" factor is what's missing from the tour. My group had a great time, but just walked away wanting a little more scare/uneasiness.

Yelp
This was our 3rd time to take this Ghosts & Gravestone Tour. It didn't seem to be as in-depth and interesting as the first two times. It wasn't that we had seen the tour already. We take nieces/nephews on the tour when they turn 13. She happened to be 16, took too long to get her to St. Augustine. That being said it was still worth the time.

Ana B.

Yelp
We had a great time on this tour! If you can manage to swing it, get Dana for your tour guide and/or Chuckles as your driver, they were amazing, giving us plenty of history, spooky vibes, and really showing passion in their roles. The actors at the two stops were great too. If you or younger people don't do spooky stuff well, consider one of the tours during the evening when the sun is still out so you get the opportunity to hear about all the departed residents in St. Augustine!
google avatar

Nicolas T.

Yelp
I've now done this tour twice and I'm honestly shocked that people have found anything to complain about. It's cheap. The parking is great. They have access to an actual wax museum and legitimate historical jail. What's not to love? The storytelling and character actors add so much to this. It's truly one of the best things to do in St. Augustine.

Corina M.

Yelp
What a wonderful time! Our mystical guide Cassandra was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. Amanda was spot on as the terrifying inmate. Highly recommend this tour. It was great fun!
google avatar

Faith M.

Yelp
A bunch of theatre kids performing, didn't learn a single thing from this tour. I paid $40 for a sleepy bus ride.

Lindsay L.

Yelp
It was amazing and I had such a great time. Our co host Cassandra was just so amazing. And everyone was just so entertaining and I loved it so much I would totally recommend to go!!

Yelp
A really fun thing to do in St. Augustine! Looking for a little "boo" with lots of history? Here ya go. Jump on their bus, jump off at a grave yard, listen to the history and gaze at the graves that hold the spirits of the past. Next tour the oldest pharmacy, then hear tales of bootlegging gone bad, while on to the Old Jail. Once inside the Old Jail, you are treated to a Birds Eye view of what prisoners faces on death row. Out back, more tales of the gallows gone bad. It was a fun evening with nice bus driver & excellent tour guide! I would recommend walking shoes as you will be walking in the dark on uneven surfaces and up and down stairs. I would also take a water with you as they don't offer any along the tour & weather was hot and humid.

Mary S.

Yelp
Did not meet my expectation there was more acting than anything else. Did not like the experience in the jail at all. The actor was shouting the entire time while telling his story. He put the entire group in the jail cells and closed the door. I opened the door. The was no warning about the steps that needed to be climbed for older people. The person I was with did not want to go in the room with the artifacts that was located in the gift shop but she was told she had to go in to catch the trolley. There were steps going down there. I think the experience in the jai is lost with the actors screaming at the people in the jail and the person telling the group when we arrive back to put money in the black hat so we do not bring back a spirit with us is very disrespectful. I would never recommend this tour.

Christee J.

Yelp
Toys was so much fun. I actually jumped several times..surprises you aren't expecting. Serci was amazing as the ghost guide, Tammy was very good as jail inmate! I highly recommend this tour...go at night. It makes it much spookier.

Jessica S.

Yelp
Worst $100 we have ever spent. This was my first time in St. Augustine and I was looking forward to exploring the ghost stories of the city. When we went to purchase our tickets, the tour was talked up "there will be live actors, you'll go on a tour of the the Wax Museum and the Old Jail, etc".. this is not what happened. We showed up 15 minutes early like directed and were ushered into this small room that had a bunch of old "paranormal" memorabilia (this was probably the best part). My husband and I were sitting on a bench in the corner and the guide (Morana) walked up to us and didn't even said anything she just waved as us, so us being polite waved back, then she goes "I need to go there" and pointed to where we were sitting. We laughed it off and got up, she noticed that my husband stood in front of the bookcase next to her knowing that that was the secret exit and said nothing until she pulled the book and let it hit him (which I thought was extremely rude). Now we are on the actual tour... we got off three times (a grave yard, the wax museum, and the jail) the rest of our 80 minute tour was spent on the bus driving around the edge of the city listening the little bits of history about Flagler College and what the people of the city think about it being haunted. If I wanted to drive around in a trolley car and listen to history I would've booked a history tour. The "tour" of the wax museum was walk to the back have a guy pop out and listen to a cheesy story that they tried to make funny. This tour is meant for children and is not worth $100! Side Note: there should be a caution for claustrophobia as the jail is tight and they close you in a jail cell with your whole trolley car.

Yelp
It was a fun tour. The tour starts at a welcome center that has some ghost-centric literature and a pretty standard gift shop selection. Once you check in you are taken to a side room with ghost hunting memorabilia. It was cool. If you are interested. I am. My guide was Devine... I mean she was pretty and well spoken but her name was Devine. We had a small group and she was trapped in a script intended for a larger audience but she handled it well. There were several stops including a cemetery, and two museums where we were joined by other actors. It was the perfect amount of hokey. Overall not a bad way to spend an hour and a half. They apparently also offer an extended ghost hunting session at the old jail. It's right up my alley and I may include it in a future visit. Chuckles was the driver... he didn't hit anything... other than that his role was mostly as scene dressing... not a dig. He did a good job and didn't hit anything. Overall an excellent experience. I don't want to spoil anything but the extra actors were fun also.

Dice O.

Yelp
Charlie told the story about the guy who got hanged and asked his wife to bury the boots. When he said the boots were still in the prison, I looked around and he picked on me for looking at his boots. 10/10 experience, Charlie definitely stole Steve's boots
google avatar

Leriza P.

Yelp
It was cute. I mean, if you're wanting to get scared, this probably isn't the tour for you. If you're tired of walking all day, then maybe. It was like a drive by crash course of information. We got down 2 times. One, at a graveyard, but only on the platform, by a restaurant we ate at earlier that day. Haha sooooo, besides the leaf that fell fast on me as I was taking a pic ... no scares there. Haha And then, a stop at the wax museum. But it was just the entrance room, a dark hallway, and a story room. The scariest was the hallway, because my friends are crazy. Mystery taps. Haha Maybe it could be fun for the kids, if you don't want too much of a fright. Thanks!
google avatar

José A.

Yelp
A fun and entertaining tour... As fun and as entertaining as it was, I was expecting a bit more, but at an hour runtime they squeezed in what they could. A bus tour packed full with patrons, they take you around town telling a few scaring stories along with a couple of stops where some actors do a good job telling additional stories from the stops we made. If you've never done it, it's well worth a try...
google avatar

Laurie C.

Yelp
I think this is a good tour if you're not up to walking. The person leading the tour was terrific, very theatrical storytelling. She was engaging and the stories were great. The very big downside is they don't really stop anywhere. You're going by a cemetery and they go by so fast you can't even take a picture. The only picture taking you could really do was on the two stops that they make. All and all we enjoyed it but probably would've enjoyed it more walking.
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed this Ghost tour experience. This was the first ghost tour that I have taken that uses a trolly. Our tour guide was Madame Ivy, she was a great story teller and she was very enthusiastic and entertaining. It was also cool to go inside a few of the haunted locations and hear the stories where they take place. Highly recommend this company.
google avatar

Erik J.

Yelp
The actors for each piece did a great job. So did our bus tour guide Genie. I would recommend if you want something fun to do in Saint Augustine.
google avatar

Alicia P.

Yelp
I wasn't terribly intrigued by this tour. We sat on a bus, heard some stories and got out a couple times. But didn't see anything much. I was glad that they accommodated my request to sit in a seat alone since I was flying solo that evening. Sierra and Sharkey were our story teller and driver for the night. They were nice, but it just wasn't exciting or scary in any sense. The ride was nice, it was breezy, it was fun to get around the town some. But overall, I would recommend other similar tours.
google avatar

Melissa K.

Yelp
We divided to do this tour from our experience with the one we went to while in Key West. I found this location not as good as the one in Key West but my kids still enjoyed it. Our trolley guide was Ofelia, she was great. Good stories with lots of history. We stopped in at the cemetery, the wax museum, and the old jail.
google avatar

Brian F.

Yelp
A trip to St. Augustine is not complete without a Ghost Tour and Ghosts and Gravestones delivers. Your hour and twenty minute motorized tour takes you to several of the towns more haunted buildings and cemeteries. Our story telling guide Thomas, driver "Dangerous Deb", and the two actors who bring "haunted" to life were all EXCELLENT! The Ghosts and Gravestones tour is for the whole family! Hint: Get tickets during the day. You'll have several "tour times" to select from.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
I love ghost stories and tours and I have never been on this line of ghost tour so naturally, I was very excited! However, this tour was very disappointing. First off, our tour guide, I believe Michael (?) he tried so hard to sound enthusiastic and engaging but I could tell he has told these stories so many times that he was bored with this job. I liked how we got to go into the drug store and wax museum but the stories were weak, boring and not scary or freaky or spooky one bit. Let's say that I will not be scared to sleep or walk around at night. I feel like a lot of the stories were similar to what the Trolley tour guides told us briefly but this tour just elaborated the story more and tried to make it creepy but it didn't work. Overall, nice effort but I will not be recommending this ghost tour. Next time, I will engage in a walking ghost tour. I did also email the customer service because apparently they have a 100% customer satisfaction rate and I definitely wasn't satisfied with how much I paid for it.
google avatar

Noah D.

Yelp
Good story telling at each stop where you see the inside of the wax museum and old jail. The actors inside both locations were in full character acting. Recommend sitting in front of the trolley to get on and off quickly and hear the co-driver more clearly.
google avatar

Jeff N.

Yelp
Taking the tour at night makes this all worthwhile, as you do a lot in a couple of hours you spend going around the historical district of St. Augustine between the Potter Wax Museum, one of the graveyards, and the Old Jail Museum. Starting at the visitor's center, where the tour begins, you are taken to wait inside this spooky library, with various equipment, lighting, and background music to enhance the experience before you go on the Victorian-like trolley for the tour. At night, the stops you make add a ghost-like element to the tour, which you will not receive otherwise. The Potter Wax Museum gave a spooky element with the stop culminating in the "torture" part of the exhibit where they did a mock execution with a performer playing the part of the executioner. My favorite part was when we went to the old jail, and an actor played one of the former (dead) prisoners who gave us a tour of the jail and described its history -- especially the gallows part. A fun tour to take part in if you're into haunted and scary things for sure. Even if it doesn't satisfy the fright, depending on how high your tolerance is, it's still worth checking out, whether it's your first time in St. Augustine or it's a return trip.

Yelp
Last night, I had a great tour in St. Augustine. It was part walking and part trolley. Our driver was Dangerous Deb. Our tour guide was the very lovely Morranna. We got to see haunted cemeteries, the wax museum, and the inside of the Old Jail at night. It's definitely worth the money, even though they tried to hang me. Good times!

Adaline M.

Yelp
Loved my time here! Such a spooky tour the tour guide we had was amazing, such an angel and deserves a raise

Yelp
Few things we wish we knew. 1) This was more of a history tour than a tour about ghost stories. 2) We drove in a circle a few times. Seems they were trying to give narrator more time to speak instead of talking about points of interest. 3) I am not trying to be mean, but the Narrator Ann, she did not have the voice for a ghost tour. She did speak loudly so everyone could hear, so I understand that part, however she was using a microphone on the trolley and had a high squeaky voice which is not spooky or haunted sounding. She needs to use a voice that entices people to listen. Ann was great but her voice was out of place for the tour. 4) It was raining and were told when we bought the tickets that if it started raining the driver would pull the side panels down. However, when we got to the train it had started pouring rain and when we asked to put the sides down, she said, "It's an open air trolley." Finally she put the side down. The towel she was using to wipe the seats was soaking wet, thankfully we had a towel and used it for the seats. 5) At the Old Jail, the narrator played his part well, but I think some folks were uncomfortable with how close he got to them when he was yelling like a prisoner. If they made a few adjustments it would be a great tour.

Jasmin E.

Yelp
Unfortunately not as spooky as I hoped it would be. The only chills I got was from the cooler weather. Definitely not the reason I pissed my pants that night. :P Check out photo for reason.

Alivia G.

Yelp
My fiancé and I had a blast. Our host was very knowledgeable along with others involved. The jail was our favorite part.
google avatar

Juniper M.

Yelp
1. Tour guide and driver were entertaining. Ruby was very good. Her speaking voice was clear and her jokes were charming. 2. More entertainment/ show than ghost stories/tour. Unlike other ghost tours, where your guide takes you to various places and gives history and some folklore. This tour gives you a play. Which was good. But not what I wanted nor expected. 3. The bus was very cool 4. Perhaps this "tour" should just tout itself as a play about ghosts. I sorta feel ripped off

Yelp
We loved all the history facts and the way it was told. Not too scary for kids. Great way to see the city and some of the spots you may want to see more later like the old jail.

Nick D.

Yelp
Mic broke 10 minutes in to tour. Couldn't hear over engine noise. Waste of money Do not bother

Yelp
My boyfriend loves ghost tours and wanted to do one during his birthday celebration in St. Augustine. Our friends were also with us in town celebrating their anniversary and were down to go on one. After some research, my friend saw this one is the best rated one it town so we chose it. She booked online and we met at the designated place to begin the tour. I'm not personally a believer of the paranormal, but I still usually like these tours since they show you different areas of the city and often offer some interesting history. Upon check in, we entered a room that had some cool, creepy decor which I loved. They ran through the rules and procedures quickly and then we boarded the trolley. The tour was pretty crowded so I couldn't sit with my boyfriend or friends which kind of sucked, but we were near each other so it wasn't a huge deal. I like that the tour lets you get out at a couple of spots. We got to go inside the Potter's Wax Museum and the Old Jail and walked over near the Tolomato Cemetery which was cool to view at night. The best part of the tour was the hard working guide, Chris, and other actors (Richard and a gentleman whose name I can't remember unfortunately) as well as the drivers. They really put their all into it to try to give everyone a good experience. I didn't feel this tour gave as much info as some of the similar ones I've been on elsewhere though and it was kind of on the silly side in my opinion. It wasn't quite worth the price for me personally. However, if you love ghost stories, or just like the strange, creepy, and historical stuff like I do I think you'd still have a good time. It still a nice ride through a fun city and a cool way to hit up some landmarks.

Yelp
Well...can't say it was scary but definitely made for some giggles...! and disappointedly after a $70 bill for 3, it was lame at best. Narrators - Our tour narrator, Ghostly Gaby, did a good job, her story telling ways captured her audience & she made the tour enjoyable. So did - the "prisoner ghost" at the jail. He was believable in appearance & a great story teller too. The "executioner" at the Potter's Wax Museum was startling at first since we all thought he was a wax figure; but once he started his script, I thought it would have been best if he had remained a wax figure. Trolley was incredibly hot with a few open windows & a small fan facing the driver & Ghostly Gaby but not enough to make the ride enjoyable on a 90 degree humid Summer night. For that matter, all inside tour destinations were uncomfortably hot & it made the tour unenjoyable. For being the oldest city in Florida with so much history for storytelling about ghosts & graveyards, this tour doesn't remotely deliver what it promises. It only takes you to a few stops with hurried narratives from their storytellers; so hurried, you might as well google the stories or buy the ghost book they intensely push to purchase...not worth the advertisement hype..!

Yelp
I had a great time I went with my friends from Orlando on st pattys day and it was the perfect way to spend the night. Amity and Slasher Steve were super sweet and spooky.
