Gia and the Blooms - Findlay Market

Found a cute little cactus to bring home to my bf. It was labeled $8. I took it up to the counter to purchase and asked the girl what kind it was. She said it was a grafted hybrid but couldn’t remember of what two plants and that “I just tell people ITS A CACTUS”, which is obvious. Then she rings me up and it’s over $17… turns out the cup that plant was in was $8 the plant itself was priced separately which I feel like should have been labeled accordingly. $17 is not unreasonable for a grafted cactus (I guess) but I was not expecting that and then felt put on the spot once I was already amidst the purchase. Plus the fact that the girl working there couldn’t even tell me what kind of plant I was buying… from a plant shop… that she works at… is ridiculous. Maybe the owner should label the plants with their names in case their employees are too incompetent to remember what they are. Probably won’t go back or recommend. I hope my cactus makes it though, it’s very pretty!

My experience recently was really uncomfortable. I shopped there before anda nice ginger or blonde girl helped me pick out the perfect pothos. I returned thinking I was gonna receive the same service but a brunette girl was rude and didn't care to help me at all. I wasn't greeted and then 10secs later an older lady walked through and she said "hello and let her know if she need anything." I was baffled but proceeded to shop. I seen a cute plant but an ugly planter and asked her was the price on the planter the price of the plant? She said no, so I then asked how much is the plant? She says you have to look on the plant in the inside with attitude like I was bothering her. She watched me struggle to remove the plant but turned her head. I received a phone call so I used that as my opportunity to just walk away. I don't see myself shopping there moving forward.

Highly recommended florist. I ordered flowers with same day delivery and they practically appeared instantly for my friend’s birthday. Thank you so much! It was so nice to surprise him on his special day and Gia and Blooms made it happen.

Drove from two hours away on the day before Mother’s Day to tour Findlay Market for the first time with Gias being top of the list. Was looking forward to my family building a bouquet for me from the bouquet bar which was still stocked but was declined. Hoping to try the other location to give it a fair chance next time we’re in the area—concluding from reviews that this is a location issue not a company issue!

Simply stunning flowers, arranged so perfect and fresh! Same day delivery for $10 - unbeatable! Awesome prices, awesome size, I can’t stop saying awesome. Friendly, helpful staff also. Do not skip on these, you will regret it! The burlap wrap and attached hand written - brown tag - card are the *perfect touch* to make the arrangement feel personal, and “non-uniform” unlike anything you’ll find at your typical in-town florist. Overall so, so great!

The best plants shop in Cincinatti and the whole east coast! All my salon plants are from Gia and Blooms! They live a long life and really easy to take care of! The price and customer service are always on top! The inventory is full and modern. I highly recommend this shop for any special event gift, wedding, lovely surprise or just a sweet home accessory!

I came in with a very last minute request for 6 mini bouquets to ask my bridesmaids to be a part of my wedding - Amy selected the most beautiful flowers and had the arrangements ready in no time! I was so impressed with her eye, her flexibility, and her kindness. Can’t wait to go back again!
