stumbled upon this place with my mom and fell instantly in love 😭 the plants and flowers are so beautiful and well kept. the planters are extremely cute, the colors and patterns are exactly the vibe i was looking for. i ended up getting 3 and costed no more than $150 and i will be returning to get more!!

Fantastic selection of plants and flowers, with many other cool items available (pots, candles, plant-themed art and gifts). Staff are friendly and patient- they answered the multiple questions I had and were kind about my self-proclaimed “black thumb” (not great at keeping plants alive).

A very cute store. I came for the plants and was disappointed to find that basically all the ones they had could be easily found at a big box shop. They also weren’t labeled with names and it was difficult to find the prices. I asked the staff person what the plant I purchased was and she was super far off base but the store has wonderful vibes and is worth a visit if for no reason other than there’s a potting station and a build your own flower bouquet bar that had some flowers I had never seen before like lambs ear.

Over the last couple years, I’ve ordered a bouquet and two wrist corsages from here and I’ve been so happy with them. My grown kids are in Cincinnati for college and it is so nice to have a florist I can count on for really fresh designs and beautiful flowers.

Our wedding flowers were absolutely INCREDIBLE! They exceeded my expectations! Alex also called me multiple times throughout the planning process. She would text me answers to my questions quickly and was always so kind and helpful. 1000% recommend!

The florist added a sprig of rosemary to the bouquet "for remembrance." That little touch meant the world. Beautiful and thoughtful.

I visited Gia in OTR on Sunday for the first time! I have walked by it at Findlay Market multiple times but have never taken the time to stop in. Once upon a time before I was pregnant I had over 100 plants! That went south quickly when morning sickness hit. While I don't exactly want to reach that level of plant parent again I was excited to be more selective about choosing a new plant (or 2). I ended up grabbing two hard to kill, low light plants - a ZZ plant and a snake plant - to put in our second Airbnb we are launching soon! I also really enjoyed that you can build your own bouquet by paying for flowers per stem. That's probably my favorite feature about Gia & the Blooms, along with the premade "grab and go" bouquets if you need flowers STAT! Other plants they had I considered getting: Marble Queen Pothos Prince of Orange Philodendron Calathea - I love the prayer plants family because they move their leaves depending if it is night or day! Fiddle Leaf Figs - they have some beautiful fiddle trees!

Love Gia! The creativity is unreal. Plus they have beautiful house plants! Great customer service.

Hi!!!! Today I went to my favorite place in the city--Finley Market! I was walking around, quickly, because of my wife's current health status. I had to return home quick, but I made sure to enjoy my day out and about first! I stopped by my all time favorites. Ya know.... I had to get to get a NEW YORK style sandwich from Harmony Plant Fare! VEGAN STILL! Once I went back outside, it was really cloudy and gloomy, but I was so immediately... IMMEDIATELY... drawn to the beautiful, and quite colorful, floral arrangements to my right. Instantly, I knew what I had to do... I needed to buy my lovely wife some flowers! Her favorite color is orange and purple! I was greeted by the sweetest, most smiley, employee! She made me feel so welcomed to the space. I am almost fully colorblind, so I was so grateful to have such a nice person to help me pick the specific colors for the bowquet! I cannot say enough about how thankful I am. I got to talking with her and found out that she has recently been promoted to manager and let me just say..... I know they made a FANTASTIC decision!!!! And when I got home, my wife was as thankful as she could be with her current health issues. I could see the light sparkle in her eyes. Really awesome flower shop! I was looking to send a housewarming gift to a friend. I don't live in Cincy so I did a quick search on Yelp and loved the vibe and reviews for Gia and the Blooms! Their online store is super easy to use and you can clearly see what you will be getting, no delivery surprises here. For some reason I couldn't select a delivery date during checkout, but I sent them a quick email afterwards to clear that up. They were able to deliver same day. The flowers arrived beautiful and exactly as expected. I would certainly use them again!

I used to occasionally buy bouquets for myself or loved ones from Gia and the Blooms and they always did a wonderful job. Since I no longer live in Cincinnati I got used to using chains like 1-800-flowers to send flowers to loved ones back in Cincinnati. The national chains did a horrible job the last couple times I sent flowers so I was so excited when I saw that Gia and the Blooms had such a large delivery area. I ordered the flowers online to be delivered the next day and I couldn't be happier with the process or the results! The flowers are beautiful and the ordering process couldn't be easier. I will only order flowers from Gia and the Blooms going forward.

Gia's is one of my favorite local flower shops and is my go-to for gifts for my gal pals. As someone with a pretty low knowledge of plants and flowers, I can often feel intimidated walking into local flower shops. But the staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They provide bouquets unlike the typical ones you'd find at the grocery store, so I always go out my way to get theirs (you can't beat a hearty $35 bouquet wrapped in burlap). In addition to their gorgeous selection of floral, they also sell succulents, potted plants, and planters. Plus, they even offer free flower delivery within Cincinnati!

I don't live in Cincinnati, but I wanted to send a friend's mom a thank you gift for letting us stay at their ski house. Thanks to Yelp I found Gia & the Blooms. Their site is clean and easy to navigate - and their product pictures totally live up to the IRL arrangement. I ordered the "Medium Pastels Bouquet in a Birch Box" yesterday, they were delivered for free today. My friends' mom just sent us a text and they are gorgeous! They aren't the cheapest arrangements, but you get what you pay for. ( and who wants gross roses + baby's breath from 1-800-flowers). Totally pleased w/ the beautiful arrangement, ease of service, quick delivery and fair pricing.

Minimal. Modern. Clean. Give me all the Gia and the BLOOOOOOMS! This is probably the trendiest floral shop in the Nati and partly because the owner Yulia was a designer in her former life. Everything in the shop is perfectly curated and they really are the best at what they do. Brides - take note... if you want that trendy leafy look - Gia and the Blooms is where it's at. Although on the day we were in the shop was mostly succulents, their burlap wrapped bouquets start at 35$ with free delivery to the Cincinnati area. And they limit their offerings to a few styles to avoid the visual overload and to offer the best and freshest seasonal blooms available on the market. I also LOVE that they source flowers locally. If you're one of those ladies curating your perfect succulent collection, this place is for you. They had SO many varieties in all shapes and sizes. They also have some great candles, and modern vases etc. I also want to you leave you with a note about how NICE these ladies were. On the day we were in it happened to be one of the women's birthday's and when we walked in we were greeted with complimentary champagne and asked if we wanted a succulent cupcake (hilarious I might add - see pics). I know this is not a typical experience, but they were smiley and helpful during our trip in and I love to see when people are excited about what they do! Huge fan.

Our office has Gia and the Blooms bouquets in our office on a regular basis - love the colorful selection and how they present, cut and wrap the bouquets in burlap - gives you an earthy eco feel. Recently had a last minute request from one of our clients for an extra special arrangement & thanks to Yulia took care of it in less than an hour saving the day making our client very happy. Thank you for brightening up OTR and greater Cincinnati area!

Wandered into this shop after lunch on a weekday. Their prices were pretty reasonable, if not a little bit on the high side, but the store looked great and all of the plants looked well taken care of. I bought a new plant, and when I asked one of the women at the register if the plant was easy to take care of, she told me "Yes, just water 1-2x per week." I haven't had great luck with all types of house plants, so after being given these basic instructions, I was surprised and disappointed to find online that the plants are typically very finicky, sensitive, and not great for beginners (very specific type of water, humidity, light conditions required). A day after I got home, I noticed that the table I had placed my plant on had tiny little white/silver bugs crawling all around the plant, and when looking closer in the soil, realized that there were at least 20-30 or so of these tiny bugs crawling around. Not quite sure what they are, but I now unfortunately have a fussy plant with some sort of bug infestation that I have to deal with before it spreads to the rest of my house plants.

I've shopped at Gia a few times in the past and have always appreciated their variety of beautiful plants and vessels. It's great to have a shop in the city that's pretty accessible and not ridiculously priced, though the prices can soar when you start looking at pots to purchase along with the plants. During my last trip in, I was looking for something very specific and they didn't have what I was looking for, so the team took clippings from a larger version of the plant I was looking for and sent me home. It was such a great experience and they definitely went above and beyond.

I've ordered flowers from Gia's on three separate occasions and each time the arrangements were absolutely stunning. I really love the assortment and color palate of her arrangements. They feel casual but elegant and whether I buy for myself or someone else, I always trust that many people will enjoy these blooms.

So disappointed! Flowers were not what I ordered and were VERY overpriced. Tried calling to discuss but my message was never returned. Will not buy from here again.

Went to get flowers for my mom and found this cute boutique. The shop is pretty small. Very friendly staff. It seems they do a lot of online orders. The staff were making gorgeous arrangements and bouquets when I was there. I came to make a bouquet myself since I was short on time. The selection was a bit small but they had a good variety. I got 10 flowers and they were $2-3 each. My mom loved the flowers. I liked that the flowers aren't fully bloomed so that they actually look better after a couple of days.

Flowers did not reflect what they feature on there site. Disappointing and unfortunate!

I can't ever say enough good things about Gia & the Blooms! Delivery is always on time or early, the flowers are stunning and stay for a long time. When anyone needs flowers this is who I direct them to.

I recently ordered five burlap arrangements for an event. They were stunning! The staff was friendly, picking up was safe & easy at Findlay, and the compliments poured in. They were so helpful & did a wonderful job & the price point was reasonable. Highly recommend giving them your business!

This little gem in OTR was a perfect spot to stop in and get a house warming gift for our plant loving friends! I showed the wonderful staff member pictures of a few plants and shares that I was looking for something exotic...she shared a few suggestions and then BAM the perfect little pink plant stole my eye. It was different and I even got to pick a special pot to go with it. She was so friendly and I am so grateful because our friends LOVED IT AND they had never had one before. It really stole the show for us and will be back!

I ordered a bouquet of flowers to my apartment and everything from the ordering to the delivery to my door was amazing! They offer free delivery to the Cincinnati area and the flowers are absolutely stunning. Such a great bouquet to spruce up my apartment!

My experience with the owner, Yulia, was horrible. I reached out with a flower arrangement idea and wanted to see if it would be possible to put together. After being told that it would possible, and having a previous good experience with Gia and the Blooms, I decided to go ahead and purchase the flower arrangement from Yulia for a party that I was hosting. I followed Yulia's instructions to put in the original order notes what I wanted, and was told by her that she checks the notes on every order. Flash forward and what I requested was not what I received. I was so disappointed that I chose to not even display the flowers at all for my party. I would have rather gone without flowers than display something that was completely wrong and missed the mark. I reached out about the issue as soon as I was able, only to be met with an off-putting, incredibly defensive email that was unacceptable given I was trying to given open, honest feedback on how I felt about what I was given. I was also open to understanding what happened. I felt talked down to by Yulia for waiting to reach out for 2 days over the weekend while I was in the middle of hosting a party and hosting out of town guests. The kicker? It took Yulia two days after my original email indicating an issue before I was responded to. I actually had to circle back to see if there was an update and say I was still upset about what happened. After all the defensiveness, the solution was to give me a $20 credit on a $69 purchase "as little token of appreciation." I replied to say I expected a full refund. Well, Yulia apparently didn't feel like responding back at all and never did. My only indication that my other email was read was when I received an automated refund notification email. Very nice, right? Maybe in two days I'll get a follow up email saying that a refund was sent, but who knows. I think it says a lot when a business owner can't take or isn't willing to take honest feedback when something in their control goes wrong. Ignoring a customer who is genuinely unhappy with your product AND service is not okay. I will be sure to never purchase from Gia and the Blooms again. I just can't believe how bad of an interaction this all was.

Coolest floral shop in OTR! We stumbled across this little shop on a Sunday morning and found ourselves at Gia and the Blooms. This was a really cool find with plenty of succulents and minimal styled pots and vases. You couldn't help but feel like zen in the shop and for a moment feel like you were whisked away from the cold crazy weather that is Ohio. We were thrilled to find mimosas and succulent/floral themed cupcakes greeting us as we walked in. The shop is rather small and while we were there a few groups walked in (escaping from the cold in sure) as well so it seemed a little cramp. Everywhere you looked you seemed to find something new or a plant you can imagine in your home. They had a nice air plant collection as well. I'll certainly be back, whether your in the area or looking for a floral shop down in OTR be sure to check out Gia and the Blooms!

I wish we had a shop like this at home! Tastefully filled with unique and well cared for plants, as well as a fun array of plants. Very reasonably priced. We didn't have a need for any fresh-cut flowers but the arrangement the associate was putting together were gorgeous. She was very helpful and courteous which is always a bonus!

Must be nice to be so busy that you can turn away business. Made a special trip downtown to find out they will only sell flowers if you preorder.

My husband ordered flowers from Gia and the Blooms for me and my mother as a surprise. The bouquets were delivered straight to the restaurant where we were having dinner. Flower combinations were refreshing and you could just see that they've been put together with love and creative vision. The website offers great variety of beautifully crafted bouquets and arrangements for all budgets and I keep hearing that their shop in OTR is pretty amazing too. Another great creative addition to our city and community!

Great customer service!! I always want to try and support local businesses instead of large online chains. Found Gia and the blooms through Yelp and thought they had the most beautiful arrangements. Ordered for a friend. They were super helpful and accommodating. This is now my go to Cincinnati flower shop.

This store was beyond awesome!! As soon as you are overwhelmed with gorgeous flowers and happy employees! Can't wait to go back! They had so many fun plants, flowers, pots and more! I do wish there were more but considering their small place it's completely understandable.

Used Gia in the Blooms for centerpieces for a dinner event... my fight was delayed getting in town and I was beyond pleased to arrive at dinner to see the most beautiful arrangements already sitting on the table. Unique, fabulously priced, and truly just lovely to work with... can't wait to work with them again!

My flowers were beautiful but lasted only a few days. They were for a centerpiece the day after delivery (Thursday), so that went fine but it was a bit disappointing they didn't last through the weekend so I could enjoy them longer (for the cost especially). They completely turned brown. I have gotten better results from other vendors with similar care instructions. Nevertheless I think I'd use them again because of the convenience and great style. I also found the customer service to be excellent. Hopefully this was a fluke.

Besides flowers they have a nice selection of tiny cactuses and succulents. Really friendly people.

If you're looking for a local florist/plant shop with loads of character, this is your place. The employees are friendly and charming. They have so many different types of plants. Fair-priced too. One of their employees, Eliza, seems to know everything there is to know about plant care. Every plant I've bought from her is doing fantastic because of the instructions she has provided me. Additionally, the floral arrangements are unmatched compared to any florist I've gone to in the past. My mother, grandmother, and girlfriend have all been happy campers on different holidays and occasions because of the arrangements I've purchased for them here. I just tell the girls what colors they like and they always manage to put together something so cohesive and elegant. Also, great locations in Over the Rhine and Findlay Market. Definitely check this place out.

We used Gia and the Blooms for a rehearsal dinner. The centerpieces were truly unique. We told Yuliya the colors we would like and what she produced was outstanding. I am so happy that I found Gia and the Blooms. I will definitely use them again!

I popped into the shop after checking out their neighbor Brown Bear Bakery and boy am I glad I did. I should start off this review by stating that I, Monica Dabecco, am a crazy plant lady. Acceptance is the first step right? I have recently become darn near obsessed with gardening and house plants since becoming a homeowner a little over a year ago and have to fight the urge to fill every free space in my abode with something green. Well, shops like Gia and the Blooms are only feeding my addiction. This is so cute, so quaint, so perfectly designed and good GOD it smells great too. There is greenery at every turn with succulents galore, fiddle fig trees, eucalyptus, bird of paradise (my latest purchase) and stunninggggg bouquets. I was drawn immediately to a large, healthy, easily 4.5 ft tall bird of paradise plant that I knew had to be mine. It was moderately priced for a plant that large and the employee was so nice when I asked questions about its care. She let me know when to water it, how much sun to give it, and potting/transfer instructions for when I move it to another pot. She also wrapped it up in a nice "sleeve" so that it wouldn't make a mess in my car AND carried it out for me and helped me wrangle it into my back seat. I will fully admit I've been sitting in front of it for at least 30 min in my house and just smiling because it finishes off my dining room so perfectly. I can't wait to come back for bouquets as well. I never need an excuse for treating myself to flowers. Gia and the Blooms has just become my go-to spot for all things green and beautiful.

A beautiful shop and very friendly! They had a sidewalk sale the day I stopped by, with a lot of different options between $5-$15. I stopped in to get some plants for my desk at a new job, but I'm currently in the process of moving so I couldn't repot them any time soon, and they repotted them for me for free! Gia and the Blooms designed some truly unique, beautiful pieces for our wedding celebration. Yuliya was attentive and offered great suggestions. Even with our modest budget, their work stood out from other wedding florist's. The designs were fresh and creative and natural-looking. The palette was consistent and the arrangements were versatile enough that we were able to enjoy them through both the ceremony and reception. Such lovely products and a pleasure to work with!
