We went here when we traveled to Italy for our honeymoon. My husband accidentally made a reservation for their sister restaurant down the street, thinking it was this restaurant. They were nice about it and we were able to still get a seat near the window. Everything I ate here I enjoyed greatly. I loved their Ohana drink and their risotto. My husband also enjoyed the pasta he ordered. We had great views of the Duomo, and it was very cool to see at night.

I booked this restaurant as an anniversary meal and my priority was a memorable location with superb food. Well, we were certainly not disappointed. As you can all tell, the location and view are sublime. We had a wonderful evening. 1. The staff were very attentive, knowledgeable, polite, multilingual and totally add to the memorable experience. Their knowledge of the menu, their wines, their cocktails and all dish ingredients is first class, as you'd expect. 10/10. 2. We were offered the cocktail of the day once we had been taken our seats, and it was, of course, lovely. Our waiter went through our likes, its ingredients and similarities to others, and it was delicious. An easy 10/10 there. 3. We went for ossobuco, tuna tartare and a turbot for two with potatoes & artichokes. It was scrumptuous, and was expertly cleaned/ filleted at our table. The flavours were amazing and each dish was absolutely delicious. We shared a lemon tart dessert and it too, was delicious. Again, 10/10. 4. The view, well, just look at the photo. 20/10 here, but you must ensure when booking, that you select a table with a view of the Duomo, as there are a couple of tables that are situated by thick columns, and are totally blocked from view. 5. The price, whilst not cheap (what do you expect for this view?), but was reasonable for the experience and location; absolutely no complaints at all. A resounding 10/10!! All in all, highly recommended for an utterly memorable experience, and my girlfriend was bowled over by the whole experience. Highly, highly recommended.

Great place for lunch with good views. Each person needs to order a main course as minimum. Good food, we love the Tortellini cacio e pepe, lobster ravioli, risotto alla milanese and steak. Great service from our waiter. They speak English for visitors who can't speak Italian. Price may be on the pricey side. But what do you expect from a restaurant by the Duomo?

We ended up choosing this restaurant because we wanted to try again ossobuco risotto, which appeared very frequently in reviews, and because for our last meal in Milan we wanted to enjoy a beautiful view of the Duomo. Upon arrival, the waiter informed us that they were offering a short menu, but we still didn’t know what it would include. We assumed the ossobuco risotto would be available, as it seems almost guaranteed and standard in about 90% of the restaurants we had seen in Milan. Unfortunately, the menu was extremely limited and didn’t include almost any of the dishes we had seen mentioned in reviews. Since we had a return flight shortly after, we didn’t have time to leave and look for another place. Because of that, we chose risotto alla milanese and tuna tartare. Literally nothing what you see in the reviews wasn’t available. The food was okay - fresh, but nothing special or memorable. The risotto was creamy but very ordinary compared to others we tried during our stay. The tuna tartare looked so delicious but was served with a large amount of vinegar, which completely overpowered the natural flavor of the fish. So acidic that it makes your face twist. On top of that, the coperto was €8 per person, which I did notice in the menu so just keep that in mind. Overall, nothing special unless you mainly want to enjoy the view of the Duomo. Rather a tourist attraction. The place is kinda overpriced for the quality of the food and only worth it if the view is your priority. The staff was very polite, but this didn’t quite match other details, such as the condition of the restroom (no toilet paper). The menu choice was also very limited.

All my stars go towards the beautiful view and restaurant set up they have at this place. It is difficult to find as it’s inside the museum, once you get there they don’t coat check they seat you right away, and you’re made to wait 10 minutes before being greeted by a waiter or waitress. My fine dining courses showed me this place values none of the customs a fancy upscale restaurant should hold. We had the terrace seating with Duomo view which was spectacular!! The surrounding area was gorgeous as well. However, restaurant doesn’t polish the glasses, they allow dogs that are clearly not health support animals at tables in their owners laps, while others are eating. The food options are close to what you’d see in France so all raw and fish, and the service is bad too, 10 minute wait for a greeting from waiter, 10 minutes wait for wine, 20 min wait for bread and somehow a 5 minute wait for our undercooked (far passed al dente) pasta.. It was obvious our waitress was extremely busy as she tended to all guests in the terrace herself. Which unfortunately leads to tables being under serviced, like ours. Wil go back, but I suggest for cocktails and starter plates only as prolonged service was not good. Totally worth the visit and the Duomo was in perfect view at night. Wonderful experience! We had a table at the balcony area overlooking the Milan cathedral and the cathedral Square. The Dorothy cocktail (martini base) is recommended. Excellent dishes. The risotto was very tasty. Each dish served beautifully This is a place for a special evening in Milan

Visit with two adults and a 5-year-old and 2-year-old child. It was a space where sunlight did not come in, so the outdoors was very cold even it was really shiny day, and the waiting time for food was very long. The truffle tartare was soso, the tomato pasta was too undercooked(it's not al dente, it's just undercooked) and didn't even sprinkle parmesan cheese. I ordered 120 euro per kg today's fish because they recommended, but their cooking skills are so poor that it tastes better to grill it at home. I ordered Sea Bass, but it came out without the skin. It seems they burned it so they had to remove the skin. They recommended ordering 2kg from a family of four with two young children, so I ordered only 1kg, but they forcibly gave & charged us 1.5kg worth 180 euros, and there were too much that they couldn't put it in one plate, so it came out in two plates. It was the worst that the fish bones were not even properly removed. Moreover we received later than other tables that came late. Lastly, mushroom and chips we've ordered was salty as hell, so I had to wash it on all over the plate to eat it. Actually we could not eat them because it's too salty. It is a place where food and service are severely low compared to price, and waiter was so much untrustful. Please don't listen to the recommendation, it's just a place for nice view. I don't review mostly but I paid 318 euro and ruined all day, Gracie!

Everything ran smoothly, and we felt truly looked after throughout the entire meal. Giacomo Arengario is a must-visit in Milan for anyone who appreciates great food, great service, and stunning views. Highly recommended!
