We had a magic dining experience on Sunday night. A big thank you to all the team. Highly recommended: cotoletta, tartare di fassona, deep fried porcini mushrooms, risotto, plin and truffle egg. All dishes depend on the season of course

An elegant and posh place. The quality of the food and the originality of the dishes is extraordinary, however we found the prices to be considerably high. The wine list is very expensive (16€ the cheapest glass) . The cocktails are original and more reasonably priced than the wines. We didn't like the fact that the person who seemed to be the owner of the place spent half of the dinner watching us, and making comments to the waiters. Speaking of the waiters, there were a lot of them, however it took them 1 hour to bring out our main courses. Finally, we thought it was shame that the waitress left us the tartar without adding all the ingredients (see video). We had to ask him to finish it, a lot of presentation spectacle but they forget the basis that is the product as such.

Our first night in Milan, we made reservations based on recommendations from friends. Overall very good restaurant. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Highly recommend getting the steak, the quality of the meat was excellent. As you can see the cocktails were really good as well!

Expensive and bouni but worth it. Have an aperitif, order each course and live with it this place was incredible. Some good veggie options, mostly meat and fish on the menu though. Wine list amazing. Elegant classic interior. They book matched the marble in the bathroom. Need I say more.

Genuinely shocked by the complete lack of empathy and understanding. We called to cancel out first date night since giving birth to our third child. Our toddler had just started vomiting everywhere so we called and explained but were just told its not their problem and that the policy was we still had to pay 100 euros. The woman on the phone was rude and unapologetic. Just thought everyone should know that when a little kindness can go so far, this establishment chooses not to share it. In a city like Milan that is brimmed full of incredible restaurants offering amazing food, this just serves itself. Dont bother going :(

Really excellent meal to have, even with the price. From the oysters to the starter pastas, everything was very good. The Devil's chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. Their house Amaro was so good we bought a bottle of it. Service was friendly and helpful.

Great service, quiet street with nice tables outside and cool decoration inside. Food was very nice too. Tartare and ceviche were just a bit bland so not 5 stars but a very good address!

Amazing. We wanted to return to the larger restaurant of Giacomo next door, but it was closed, so we tried the bistrot. Was absolutely delighted. Everything we tried was great, with some dishes that were beyond exceptional, like the cacio e pepe tortelli... oh my god, make sure to order this. See the pictures to get an idea, but it was all so good. Will definately be back.

Yelp
I went twice on my most recent trip, first to Giacomo Bistrot and then next door--both excellent meals following a memorable meal the last time I was in Milan several years ago. At Giacomo Bistrot I had a phenomenal Veal Chop and good glass of wine. Came with small roasted potatoes and their home baked bread. Finished it off with a good tiramisu. Second time I had the spaghetti pomodoro with a great house salad. The aroma of the tomato sauce was outstanding. I love the ambience of the "library room", though sitting in the small bar area is charming as well. Giacomo might be a bit pricey but the food is great and worth it.

Yelp
I had dinner at this restaurant tonight. Im on vacation from the US. I thought it was very over priced for what it was. The portions were small, and the oysters were not great. The food was OK. The service was not the best either.

Yelp
This was our 'fancy' dinner of the trip, and we were so glad that we decided to have it at Giacomo Bistrot. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is impeccable, and each dish was delicious. We had the Bruschetta, Beef Tartare, Langoustines and Prawns, Gnocchetti, Ossobuco, and the Rack of Lamb. Each dish was well presented, and perfectly prepared. If you are looking for a place to have a nice dinner, this restaurant will not disappoint!

Yelp
Went to Giacomo for a business dinner. It started with my guess sitting with a large plant impeding his space and basically on top of his head. Even with a slight attempt to move the plant by the waiter, it was still in an annoying position. Decided on starters and tried the King Crab all'arancia e pomodoro Camone which was ok. Not great, not bad. Decided to do the Barbina franciacortine fiorentina steak as 2 people needed to order this. For 75 euros each, I expected much more. Very unevenly cooked. Not tender. Lots of gristle. Basically, I have cooked a better London Broil at home. Live and learn. The wine was fine. The desserts were average at best. The dark chocolate ganache was "meh-minus". Service was not great either especially as it got busier as the evening went on. Will likely not return. Sorry guys......

Yelp
When I had planned to visit Milan, I wanted to visit the restaurant Da Giacomo. Because 12years ago,on our last stay for Milan, Forseasons hotel Milan recommended us this restaurant as a good restaurant for seafood. I checked out this restanrant on web in these days, I knew this restaurant stay active. I booked the table and went there on the taxi. But I didn't know that this restaurant opened the Giacomo bistrot and Gaicomo bistrot was located on the same address with the Da Giacomo. Taxi introduced us on the Giacomo Bistrot but I didn't realized that I missed the restaurant. Of course my reservation was not exist, but waiter gave us the table. I checked out the menu but the Lobster we love was not exist. I consulted with the waiter about Lobster. Waiter consulted to the kitchen and he gave us the OK for Lobster. All the dishes was brilliant and Lobster was pretty good. We were satisfied at all. After returned the Hotel, I checked the website and I knew I missed the restaurant. If you want to have the Lobster dish, you should take care to never missed the restaurant and bistrot.

Yelp
It's my second time dining at Giacomo Bistrot. Very good food, nice atmosphere, I was alone and usually people dining alone get a bit less attention. I did not feel much of that, after all it's Milano:) all was good especially their famous Milanese!

Yelp
Has a wonderful meal at Giacomo Bistrot. Concierge from Four Season recommended it. Was a bit of a walk from hotel but so worth it. Pasta dishes were outstanding. Service was great, including friendly and attentive waiters. Wine list was extensive. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Milan and looking for a casual, but upscale authentic Milan meal.

Yelp
Great alternative to the reservations-only more formal sister restaurant around the corner. Relaxed, great service. Loved the crowd at the tiny marble bar. Ask to be seated in the room to the left when you enter, the library, to enjoy the cool interior. Food was good quality but the scene was better!

Yelp
It was just ok - went at lunch as a solo diner and it is definitely not a solo diner restaurant. Server was fairly kind. Great wine selection.

Yelp
The interior of this old milanese bistro is fantastic. I had lunch there which was fine and a great dessert. I love the atmosphere!
