Atmosphere: 8.5/10
Located in the heart of Florence, Giacosa is celebrated as the birthplace of the Negroni in 1920. The renovated space blends modern elegance with historic roots: parquet floors, arched ceilings, polished wood, and plush banquettes. Music volume is right, the backbar looks sharp, and seating is well arranged with both bar and table options.

Recommendation: Degustation course
The menu is centered on Negroni heritage, offering the largest Negroni variety I’ve ever seen, alongside a solid lineup of other cocktails. Execution is excellent—the Negroni here is near perfect. Coasters are high quality, glassware is average, garnishes minimal, and overall presentation remains classy.
Service: 8/10
Water served on arrival at the bar. Team is friendly, very professional, and attentive throughout. Reservations aren’t needed. Prices run slightly above Florence average.
