I tailored and purchased quite a few clothes for me and my husband, and I loved the result: for more complex items it’s a bit different from original but still looks good: materials are nice, designs are modern, prices are reasonable. Few things to consider: - Give it more time, week or two, they are pretty busy - Be careful with white materials, they can be see through, you may need two layers - The simpler the design, the more possibility it will be exactly this Suggestions to the shop: - Better guidance on taking measurements as girls are not always sure how to, this would reduce adjustments - See through’s need to be considered *Sushi is super cute, and we’ll be back one day🐱Thank you for your work!

An absolute ‘must’ on any shopping trip to Hoi An. A family fashion business with charming owner close to old town market . Carefully curated textiles, elegant and timeless designs Tailor quality craftsmanship (they can do tailoring if you ask), gifts (from art to ceramics) and wonderful service by staff who are happy to work there, talk or not talk, advise or leave you to take your time. Close to food/cafe/bars. I should say I am biased of course… my lovely wife owns the shop. I’m testing the new google review phone tech :). I’d still recommend it though. 😊

It is absurd that the items I reserved were sold. After 20 minutes, the manager said she cannot refund me right now. She claims she needs seven days to check the security cameras because someone picked up my clothes, but they can’t show me any record of who signed for them. This is a scam. You are deceiving foreigners. I do not plan on returning to this store in the future.

The girl showing me around called Phuong Anh was super helpful, nice and pretty ☺️☺️. They have really good quality clothes, trinkets, and others like pillowcases. Cute cat too 😽!

Tailored 3 shirts as my shoulders are slightly broad. She’s so patient and helpful in deciding which cloth and design I want to make. The shop do carry ready made shirts and dresses too. Highly recommend to come by if you are in Hanoi. The prices are so affordable too. 💯

I had the most amazing time at Gian Don. We stumbled past the lovely shop on a walk around West Lake and had to go in. I wasn't planning on getting anything made but their fabrics were so beautiful to touch and the staff were so friendly and kind. I had a jumpsuit made and it was beautiful. It was made really well and was great value for money. My boyfriend and I had such a good experience, that when we were in Hoi An we made a conscious effort to visit their original store and my boyfriend was very lucky to get a pjs set made by the founder Dieu. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Great store with a lovely range of women’s clothes in natural fabrics and a few gifts / accessories. There is also an option to have items tailored either from their catalogue or your own design. They did amazing excellent job with two pairs of pants I asked to be copied and a top which was a variation of a dress they make. Lovely team of women. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stumbled upon GIAN DON while looking for a tailor who specializes in linen clothing—and wow, did they exceed our expectations. At first, we each had one or two pieces made, and the quality, fit, and incredibly quick turnaround completely blew us away. I was so impressed that I put together a full presentation of designs I wanted, brought it to the shop, selected fabrics with their team, and they created 12 beautiful pieces for me—all within about a week to accommodate our travel schedule. The quality of the linen is just exceptional. Every item is made with such attention to detail, and the pricing was unbelievably affordable for custom work of this caliber. On top of that, the team at Gian Don was an absolute joy to work with—friendly, helpful, and truly passionate about their craft. And of course, I can’t forget the bonus: Sushi the cat. The sweetest shop mascot! Getting to play with Sushi during my fittings made the whole experience even more memorable. I genuinely can’t recommend Gian Don enough—if you’re considering having anything custom made (especially in linen), this is the place to go.
