Amazing experience! From the start Gianni was more than happy to help with a smile. A very friendly and talented man with products at a fair price. Be spoke us through some of the celebs and royalty that he has done work which was very impressive!

What an absolute highlight to have stumbled upon Gianni and his store. We were randomly exploring and were drawn to his store. He waved us in and we had an incredibly delightful conversation about his work, his customers, Venice, etc. Then he showed us his museum of items next door too.

Absolutely delightful! Like walking back in time Gianni Basso creates beautiful custom stationary with the custom-made art stamps that he makes personally.

We bought some cards and a few wonderful Venice prints; had an engaging chat about what he did and how good the weather - and light - was in Venice in November [2021]. Fully worth an explore!

For me, a Brazilian graphic designer, with a grandfather that had his own print workshop, Gianni Basso work and workshop is something.

I stumbled across Gianni's delightful print shop when I was completely lost in Venice. It is small and narrow but completely delightful with the very charming Gianni who is happy to spend his time talking to you and showing the hidden wonders he has hidden away. I just love this place and would recommend it to everyone, but especially book lovers. This is a place you just cannot miss and once discovered, you just will not want to leave. I bought a bunch of personalised book plates and also the prints from the original plates made for the book Pinocchio. Beautiful.
