A new, quaint little brewery that is definitely worth checking out. My favorite part? That it is a women-owned brewery! When we went, the owners were there serving us our drinks. They were very friendly and willing to answer the questions we had about their selection, as well as their business, despite being super busy from the festival that was going on down the block.
By the way of decor, the bar and tables looked to be handcrafted and had a very outdoorsy feel. There were some seats, but mostly appeared to be "standing room only," I'll call it, at the bar and some of the more centralized areas, which I actually liked. There weren't many chairs to dodge and the tables had more of a community feel; so, we actually got to chit chat and mingle with people nearby who were outside our group.
The artwork was stunning. It was unique and colorful and I wish it was in my price range because there were definitely a few pieces I wanted to take home with me!
There weren't many options as far as beer go. Granted they had just very recently opened when I went; so, this may have changed. I think there were only 4 options. You can either buy a small sample pour or commit to a whole glass. I like when places offer sample sizes for purchase because it keeps indecisive people like me happy and engaged in the beer experience. After trying the beer they had, I found I wasn't a huge fan of the barley wine, but particularly enjoyed the weizen.
Now that's it's been a while since I have been there, I'd like to check it out again and see how it has evolved, if at all! There weren't many "complaints" I had to begin with, but since it had just opened, there may well be some differences in place. I guess I'll find out!
