Dear Chitkara, before hurtful remarks on social media remember there are reasons, for certain actions. We are operating during the Festive Season small staff compliment & fully booked. We are lenient when check in/ departure times are requested to change. However, the "lady manager" & her "gentleman manager/ - husband " were OFF DUTY ( living on the premises ) when you ignored your host ON DUTY that was attending to you & stormed to these 2 bewildered persons, just after a short nap, after a 12 hour shift, going out to pick up food since they have not eaten over Old Years Eve/ Christmas & by then, Boxing day. Your host made it clear that you need to communicate with him and not the persons walking in another area from you, being OFF. If the lady and the gentleman seemed uninvolved towards you, this would be the reason why. Also keeping in mind that these persons were very kind towards your family during your stay. In their private time, they also have their own emergencies to take care of. We have 4 hours to prepare the whole establishment, for new arrivals. This is very short time to have an entire establishment transformed into a fresh welcoming surrounding. The ballooning in general has delays, in general to 11h30/12h00. It is impossible to be full & provide enough parking for booked clients. Keep in mind that clients staying for longer than a day, need rooms to be service/ main building properly cleaned & refreshed. Current guests have the right to good service, being still booked in the establishment. Therefore we have no choice but to stick to the international rule of check out latest by 10h00. The feed back of the "gentleman manager" ( that you also blocked the night before on his way to the kitchen with a plate in his hand, clearly being off & the host trying to assist you to not block off the male manager, ) is as following: First morning for your sit down breakfast, - drinks: filter coffee/ cappuccino/ Americano/ expresso/ latte/ hot chocolate/ various teas/ various juices & cold beverages/ 2 different kinds of flavoured water jugs to choose from ( lemon or cucumber )/ meals, various forms of eggs - e.g. omelette with any filling you request, poached eggs. scrambled, fried, bacon, sausage, grilled mushrooms, onions, vegetable salad and fresh fruit salad with a minimum of five ( 5! ) different fruits, various yogurts, muesli, various cereals, various rolls & breads/ cold meats, cheeses, freshly pancakes/ Nutella chocolate spread & syrup, the menu certainly has clients always happy. On morning of departure, you checked out to do a ballooning trip, the gentleman manager in his off time, ( on your second evening ) went to the kitchen late at night, to make you breakfast packs - not his duty, as he is not a chef, but being so late, the chef was gone. Rooms are serviced daily. Should a client NOT want their towels to be replaced they are put back on the towel rail. ( Water is an important commodity in the desert ) For new towels, the client places the towel on the floor. This is standard when travelling any where in the world. We trust your towels were not changed because you placed them back on the towel rail. Amenities are each day restocked. This includes, sachet teas, sugars, coffees & milk pods, for hygiene, & cookies in the jar. You also have on arrival labelled 500 ml bottled per client. Please keep in mind that the establishment is in a modern minimalistic fashion and not clutter filled. Tissue boxes are not in rooms, ( extremely unhygienic. ) Few guests live in a room before a box is empty. Toilet paper is put out with a sticker to label as new/clean. If a guest needs more than one roll ( not wanting clutter in rooms, stacking rolls in rooms, unhygienic for the next clients - ) the host on duty has excess to all items. We trust a client will realise by 20h30 they need to top up amenities they want extra. We run 2 shifts, back to back, not catering 24/7 service. We hope you might re think your harsh comments & judgement & realise that you hurt good people & kind intentions. Wishing you a good 2024.
