The gardens were a delight to see. This time of year, the daffodils are the main exhibit and they are beautiful! You are surrounded by a sea of gold and white. At the gate, maps are available for you to take one. The walking paths have many signs and arrows to guide you through the park so it is easy to maneuver. There are restrooms and a cafe at the welcome center. This a scenic and peaceful place to visit. I will definitely go back to view more exhibitions in the future.

This Botanical garden is like Disney world without the rides. It’s so majestic and aesthetically soothing to the soul. If you are looking for tranquility and peace of mind then this place is for you. I love that the park has benches everywhere so you can sit and enjoy nature at its grandeur! It also has a cafe to enjoy simple sandwiches and drinks, cookies etc! This place is what I want Heaven to look like when I die! This garden is your happy place! Enjoy!

The Japanese Garden is a must-see for the autumn season. The vibrant colors and sounds of nature will mesmerize you. Things you should know: I. PARKING FREE and guided by staff to conveniently and quickly help you find a space. II. SERVICE Very friendly, informative, and accommodating. There is a charge for a ticket of entry so be prepared for a fee after you park. III. QUALITY You will not be disappointed by the grounds. I believe there are different parts of the garden that flourish during different seasons so there is always something beautiful to look at. A nice feature is the cafe within the property ~ you can explore the gardens with a cup of coffee in your hands. IV. CAPACITY Weekends can be chaotic. The day I went they were expecting 4,000 guests. If you want more privacy and would like to hear more nature versus people chatter, a week day is probably your best bet.

This was a great hike. Cost was $20 person. This place is very nice. Lunch was at a good price. $7.50 for a chicken salad sandwich. Would not bring small kids if you want to do the whole park, they will get bored. I can see during different times of the year that you would want to come see the different flowers and trees.

Awesome place for family or a couple to spend an hour or so. This place will let you stay outside and not melt because of calm shades of trees around the park. This park will be surprising you over and over again - plants and flowers just keep blooming, so you won't get bored visiting it once in a while. You'll find all you need on site: good parking, cafe, restrooms and, of course, a gift shop.

Gorgeous place and we'll worth a visit. Its pretty amazing what they have done with this property. Even though we went when there wasn't anything "special" going on and we were not in "peak" season the views and scenery was spectacular. If you're in the area and worried it may not be the best time to go, its probably still worth a visit. My wife and I definitely plan on coming back in the spring.

I heard about Gibbs garden many times but never had the chance until now. This place is marvelous, real amazing. So many details and so much to see. It's amazing to know that Mr. Gibbs, the creator, lives in the property, and how much work he put in this place. You must go and see how beautiful this place is. Don't delay, you will not regret it.

End of summer bloom season but found plenty of color . Spring daffodil and late fall colors are awesome. The gardens are a work in progress only 10 years open. A nice variety of gardens flowers. Japanese Garden , Woodland Flowers Ferns . All Gravel Paths can do half of trails in a power assisted wheel chair but not up to the Manor House area. Very nice and friendly staff..

Yelp
What a great way to spend a few hours in beautiful nature at Gibbs Garden where you are immersed by beautiful landscaping. From gorgeous Japanese Gardens to beautiful scenery where you can't find this kind of beauty all around the world Gibbs garden is a real treat to the senses. Came here with parents and mother in law along with my wife and just really enjoyed ourselves to a wonderful treat to the senses. Admission is discounted for seniors and there is plenty of parking for all times of year. We missed the tulips season by two weeks so if you want to see the tulips go in March. The flowers and trees were a true treat to see and I must say Gibbs Garden does an amazing job in maintaining a world class garden. Recommend checking out Choate BBQ for lunch which is just a few minutes away. 5 stars and two thumbs up!

Yelp
Be ready for a strip search! The gardens are beautiful but the people working there are very rude and arrogant sometimes. Before you enter the gardens, your pocketbooks, backpacks, even strollers are searched. If you dare come in with snacks, you are sent back to your car to leave them there. You have committed the crime of bringing snacks into the park and they treat you that way. I received an annual pass for Christmas and I used it the other day, only to have some rude old man at the gate search our stuff and ruin our mood at the gardens. I don't care how and beautiful it is there, they need to work on being nicer to the guests, which probably won't happen. It's been that way for years. We won't be back.

Yelp
O M Geeeee what a lovely lovely day trip to celebrate Mothers Day! I've been wanting to come here for so long and it did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our 2 hour stroll through the upper and lower gardens. My favorite was the Japanese Garden wow!! So serene and peaceful I could linger all day but we had children with us this visit. We arrived fairly early 12pm and there were hardly anyone in our paths, I noticed as we left it was a little more crowded. It was also cooler and there is definitely quite a bit of walking so be prepared. The staff is super friendly and helpful, very refreshing to come across people that enjoy their job.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful! The staff was helpful and friendly. I went to see the tulips (my favorite) and daffodils. It was such a serene atmosphere. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.

Yelp
Beautiful garden that seems to go on forever! I came here to see the cherry trees and that was a beautiful sight. This is a great place to spend all days taking photos. They do have a little cafe on property if you get hungry. I will say, during peak seasons for different places it can get packed.

Yelp
The colors of spring were blooming in the tulips and daffodils on a Saturday afternoon in late March. My husband and I spent four hours walking the hundreds of acres. Lots of walking involved; we covered 5.5 miles during our visit. The gardens are immaculately manicured! Not a weed to be had! The on-site Manor House is actually the home to Mr. And Mrs. Gibbs and their three cats. The property also has a carryout cafe with a handful of sandwich options, hot dogs, chips, and soft drinks available for purchase and plenty of outdoor seating. There's also a gift shop. I can't wait to visit in the fall to see all the splendor of autumn's colors. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The glorious colors of Fall in Ball Ground, GA at Gibbs Gardens, it's a beautiful time to walk the gardens. I was finally able to walk the park to behold all of the golden colors. Once you arrive driving down their unpaved graveled road you will see how the bridge to the entrance invites you in. You'll walk through the main entrance with gift shop attached and through double doors to start you walk. Don't forget to pick up a map so you'll know which way to journey. watch out for a few furry feline residents basking in the warm sun. There are several paths, waterways, bridges, and sculptures. Be sure to look for each created area in the garden, the placement of the landscape is purposeful. The beautiful colors of the leaves set the stage for fabulous fall photos. Be mindful as the gardens do not allow staged photos of any kind. If you happen to stop by this fall be sure to visit the manor too. The hike up then down is not for the faint at heart. So wear proper shoes as some areas have steep inclines. This is a peaceful place where you can enjoy the beauty of nature.

Yelp
I think Gibbs Garden is wonderful and of course some seasons may be more beautiful than others. It's easy to spend at least three hours here because there is so much to see, and if you're not in shape you may have to take frequent breaks, because it is very hilly. It's about 1 hour north of Atlanta and a very easy drive. *Free parking *Recommend purchasing ticket online during busy season *guest wifi is spotty, i also never have cell phone service here so you may want to download an offline map of you're not familiar with the area My favorite time to visit is during the fall season, the maples are stunning around the Japanese garden. It's a very peaceful place to sit. Currently, Gibbs Gardens is open for its 12th Daffodil ColorFest, started on March 1. 20 million+ Daffodils (100+ varieties) adorn 100+ acres of Gibbs Gardens' hillsides and valley from March 1 through April 15. I made the mistake of arriving on opening weekend around 12pm, it was crowded and not the relaxing experience I was looking for while viewing the daffodils. Definitely recommend arriving when they open if you visit on a weekend.

Yelp
This is one of those places you go visit to relax in a serene environment surrounded by beauty. It's great just to slowly meander through or to sit and meditate. And don't forget your camera for the flowers is beautiful.
google avatar

Yelp
Daffodils are beautiful but if you are older use a walker or have mobility issues many of them are unaccessible. They no longer provide tram to help You reach areas.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem just outside of ATL - Although the traffic is ATL will have you mad on your way to Gibbs the sights of these gardens will have you in a relaxed state of mind. Wife and I not only visited for the first time this weekend but opted for the annual membership. The colors and wonderful thought out landscapes will have you so consumed with its beauty that you will not notice you've spent 3 hrs and thousands of steps across 300plus acres. The wildflowers and roses are such a treat followed by the magnificent views of the Japanese Garden

Yelp
Shocked I had not already written a review. Well, I will start with the fact that I lived almost around the corner from here for five years and always wanted to come and we just never made it. Then in November of 2020 my boyfriend finally took me! It was an amazing date day and he proposed in the middle of the Japanese garden. It was the perfect day and I fell in love with the gardens! That was just the beginning. I decided to become a member. If you live nearby it's an amazing option to become a member and you can come by several times a year and see all the different cycles of blooms. The garden is forever changing and no day is the same! I come for a quick stroll with my fiancé or I come by myself and just find a spot and read a book. My advice to you? Come here to exercise with a gorgeous walk through whichever part of the gardens you most wish to explore. Come here for a date day. Come with friends and family. Just come. You won't regret it. At minimum I suggest coming for the daffodils in March and then again in fall for the changing foliage of the Japanese gardens. I can't wait for the 2022 season and to see how the gardens change again this year. It's one of my favorite places to visit and was made even more special by being where I got engaged.

Yelp
I've been visiting this place since its opening. This year I bought their membership A couple of days ago, I came to Gibbs Gardens with my sister, who came to the United States for the first time and it was the first place I decided to bring her to. The man sitting in the chair at the entrance said that my bag is big and he needs to check it for food. After the "inspection", he found a small package of pretzels and an apple in it, saying that he cannot allow me to come in and I had to leave food in the car or go to the picnic area. Seriously? Go to the picnic area to eat an apple at the table?! He pointed me to a small No snacks sign. He ruined our mood for the whole day First of all, I always carry snacks in my bag and nobody is gonna tell me what size bag to carry and what i can have in it. Especially since I came here with the same bag a month ago to look at daffodils and no one stopped me to check. Ridiculous! Shameful, snobby, no sense people and the whole place. I regret i spent money on membership with this place. Too many "NOs" and "DON'Ts". Won't be coming back. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Yelp
My fist time at Gibbs Garden and what a beautiful and awesome experience. The property is close to 300 acres of beautiful flowers, plants, tress, gardens, walking trails, ponds, bridges and waterfalls!! You can walk as far as your legs can carry you or stop and rest at the many viewing stations but either way bring your walking shoes. The garden was designed so spectacularly. Different flowers bloom all year long and are cradled with ferns, azaleas mountain Laurels and Dogwoods. There are many viewing areas over looking the flower beds, and different gardens and there are even viewing areas of the North Georgia mountains! Also drinking stations, lunch spots and gorgeous European architecture with an English manor house that's spectacular! And I just love all the different garden statues, so beautiful! They have a total of 16 different gardens but the 3 main ones are Manor House Gardens, Japanese and Waterlily Gardens. Each one so beautiful, it's to hard to pick a favorite!! To big to see it all in one visit, I'll definitely be back a couple more times throughout the year to see different seasonal flowers!! Just a gorgeous place to visit and walk. A photographers dream.

Kim B.

Yelp
First time to visit and even though it was the start of daffodils, the grounds were amazing & it was a great day to walk with friends & get some great photos! I bought a membership & plan to return soon.

Yelp
What a hidden gem. Secluded in BALL GROUND. Gorgeous property overlay with multiple gardens. Renoir pond is laced with water lilies Japanese gardens studded with unique sculptures that resemble the different characters of folklore (I am not totally sure what they are, but to keep it PC, leave it alone... This is one of the three times of the year you should come spring boasts the Beaty change from the winter doldrums, summer where multiple colors come to play. Fall foliage highlights the Japanese maples. Some food and drinks, nothing impressive. The Gibbs house is another sight to behold and appreciate.
google avatar

Lila N.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful. The Japanese gardens are mesmerizing. The poppy field were so beautiful. The manor house was a delight. The blooms are out and it's an amazing place. I Will 100% recommend this experience and worth the ticket price.

Yelp
Amazing venue that was bursting with gorgeous blooms. The staff and volunteer support was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We had a delightful day and cannot wait to return for more seasons. Thank you!

Yelp
"Beautiful ". If one word describes these gardens it would be beautiful. I sometimes wonder what the Fall leaves in places like Vermont must look like and now I have to look no more. It's Gibbs Gardens. As you walk through the Gardens, much of the time you just feel like your in the middle of the Forrest with just beautiful trees and color around you. They advertise this as a place you can go to for all of the seasons and already planning a trip back. In fact all visitors to Ga put this place near the top of your to do list.
google avatar

Yelp
The story of this place gives a whole new meaning to giving back. The price of admission is reasonable for all you get! They have something blooming almost all year. It's a great place for kids to explore!

Yelp
Great way to spend the day!! Family got some awesome photos and plenty of opportunities to connect. Beautiful gardens multiple landscaping styles. The manor was gorgeous. What a great day!!

Yelp
COVID-19 Update Regardless of politicians' rhetoric, we believe in science and have been following distancing and other precautions very seriously. The trick now is finding activities that allow us to enjoy life while maintaining safety. "Let's check out Gibbs Gardens," my husband said. ***Tickets must be purchased on line, not in person. ***If you go on a weekday -- we were there Tuesday morning-- it is very easy to social distance. Crowds not nearly what they are on weekends. ***The main bathroom is located near the entrance, with limits to the number of people allowed inside at a time. The concept is good, but there was nobody (at least when we were there) wiping down stalls and sinks, and there was no antiseptic spray for handles and knobs. ***There's a second bathroom by the manor house pool. Only two stalls in the women's side, with nobody there cleaning or monitoring ***The tram is inoperable during COVID; people with limited mobility may have trouble getting around. Now -- my impression of the gardens. Nice, but not worth $20 a person, or the hoopla that this place has generated. Free public parks are just as pretty. I understand that plantings vary by season, but what we saw was nothing spectacular. Hydrangeas were stringy, overgrown and pale. (The bushes in my garden are much prettier.) Gibbs' Japanese garden couldn't hold a candle to others that I've visited. I think they play it up with statuary. The exterior of the manor house is grand and beautiful. The interior -- we peeked through the windows -- a big nothing. (Really? A lucite table?!) I don't regret coming. It was a nice ride and it's good to get away from the city. Plus the grounds are shaded and lovely, but not in my opinion, world class.

Yelp
Gibbs Gardens was beyond beautiful. I went a few days ago with family, so it was fall. Beautifully colored leaves were falling softly to the ground, some trees were bare, but some trees still bore their leaves of golden yellow, rustic orange, cranberry red, and burgundy. How the colors of fall-colored trees reflected on the water, and the shadows of other plants and trees around, were absolutely stunning. I felt like I was in a painting. At the time we went, most of the wildflowers were dead at the bottom of the wildflower section, but there were still a few left at the top. The roses were still in bloom, but some had died. My absolute favorite spot was the Japanese Gardens. This is where I took my pictures. I would definitely go here again and again and would love to see it in the other three seasons. Fall at Gibbs Gardens is a must-see.

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Beautiful location & grounds! Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area! We went in fall time.

Yelp
I don't know why I've never heard of this heaven on Earth until recently, but I'm so glad to have experienced this beauty, at least now. The gardens are so well maintained, and everything you look at is just beautiful. I can't describe in words how spiritual walking through the garden felt. Gibbs Gardens is the perfect spot for a walk with your love or your grandmother, which I've done both now and highly recommend the experience! I captured some of the most remarkable and memorable pictures I couldn't have taken anywhere else close to home! It's a little bit of a smaller version of the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and feels more natural and less manufactured. The Japanese garden and the wildflowers were definitely our favorites!
google avatar

Christie E.

Yelp
Gibbs Gardens was a really great escape from the city in the midst of all that is going on in the world. I drove up from Avondale Estates in a Saturday morning to unwind. All of the staff, from scanning my ticket to the gift shop to suggesting paths to take, I interacted with were extremely helpful. I absolutely loved the water lilies in the Japanese Gardens and the hibiscus flowers at various places throughout the gardens. I think I missed the day lilies and the hydrangea at their peak bloom, what what I was able to see was beautiful. Next time I'll try to come a little earlier in the summer to see them in full bloom. I definitely plan on returning in spring, early summer, and fall. I also feel like this is a really great alternative to the Atlanta Botanical Garden. COVID related: There is signage at various points about maintaining distance and the restrooms are limited to 3 people only. Masks do not seem to be required in the park, however, all of the garden staff I encountered were wearing masks. Most of the visitors were not wearing masks or would put on mask as they approached others. As someone who is pretty cautious, I felt comfortable enough to walk the gardens among others without a mask. The paths/garden is spacious enough that you can either wait for others to pass or walk past them. Tips for first time visitors: 1. Check the online calendar to see what is in bloom. Enjoy the blooms! 2. The path into the gardens is not paved, it's gravel. 3 Wear comfortable shoes, the gardens are not paved like say....the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. 4. Bring water if you're visiting during the warmer months.

Yelp
Lovely for an afternoon stroll through large landscaped gardens. Flowers in bloom depending on the season. Daffodils and tulips in spring months. Roses and water lilies (imported and planted anew each year) in the summer. Fall flowers each autumn. Small sandwich shop on the grounds with both outdoor and tent-covered eating spaces. Small gift shop. Trams make a small circle with two stops but most of the garden is only accessible by walking trails. There are some hills and some areas that are more flat. Parking is adequate -multiple lots. Not inexpensive -$20/ day or $18 /day for seniors There are also seasons tickets that are a better price if you plan more than 2 visits per year. Trams are $5 extra per person, but are good to get around if you are not a walker.

Nick C.

Yelp
Horrible customer service, staff is extremely rude. Would give zero stars if I coud They wont let you take pictures if you ate dressed up looking nice.

Yelp
Beautiful gardens with very well maintained paths that are accessible for all. Came for the Japanese Maple peak season and it was gorgeous. I plan to come back in the spring to see the spring blooms with how great of an experience I had. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the cafe was even pretty decent and not insanely priced like most food spots at an attracted. Would highly recommend for a relaxed day enjoying nature.

Yelp
We joined as members but were unable to take advantage of it until now and Wow! We're we blown away by the detail and excellence of each area! There are so many books and places to explore and everything is not only picture perfect, but artistic and placed in such a way as to promote the beautiful plants to their best advantage. It is also a place to not only enjoy and get a great walk, but to be quiet even amidst other visitors and find some peace for your soul. It's a place where you can go every week and find something new. The seasonal calendar keeps you coming back and I can see how it makes like new a path you have trod many times before. I can't wait to see all the seasons represented in it's foliage. My only sadness is that they don't have a Christmas experience, but as true to nature as it is, everything would be dormant so to a tally understandable. Parking is easy. The paths are well marked. Maps with details and listings of free and purchasable apps are available. The Arbor cafe and eating area is a delicious rest to enjoy a lunch or snack and listen to the sounds of nature all around you.

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous 220 acre (privately owned) garden. 30 years in the making, this garden is well worth the $20 admission. I also paid the additional $5 for the tram, and I was thankful I did! After walking through the entire Valley Gardens, it was nice to be able to hop on the tram up to the Manor House Gardens. We were also able to take the tram back down to the Arbor Cafe and entrance. The gardens are stunning in all seasons as the owner, Mr. Gibbs, designs his gardens to bloom in every season. The current season includes Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Snowballs, Daffodils, Arkansas Bluestars, and many other annuals planted in pots throughout the gardens. There are also many statues, bridges, and ponds throughout the gardens. The Monet Bridge is so picturesque! It was one of my favorite places to photograph. Mr. Gibbs and his wife live in the Manor House year-round. They allow guests to walk around their house and grounds. There's a beautiful pool in the back with a couple waterfalls. There's also a view of Mt. Oglethorpe. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We spent about 3 hours touring both gardens. I would highly recommend!

Yelp
This is a pleasure garden which I learned means they have no labels. It's about $20/person. The place is big, though, so it'll take you a few hours to go through it all. They do have trolley service and wheelchair accessibility. You walk in through the gift shop and restrooms and should do the bathroom break before you start wandering. They start you off with a 10 minute orientation where they say what to look at and where everything is - they also give you a map because there's so much information, you'll most likely forget it. The garden is owned and operated by a Mr Gibbs who lives onsite with his family in a mansion you can go look at. They weren't downstairs when I was near that part of the tour, luckily. There's a Japanese section & monet section & those are the best. Everything is as picture perfect as it seems. Definitely give this place a visit if you're into scenery

Tonya L.

Yelp
Absolutely breathtaking beautiful grounds. Tranquil and Serene all year round. Very peaceful place.

Corinne W.

Yelp
So disappointed that Gibbs Gardens has discontinued their tram for touring the garden without a note on their web site. This venue is no longer easy to take someone who can not walk a long way. We drove an hour in each direction paid $25 per person for just a short stroll. The daffodils are no longer accessible to someone with limited walking ability since they have discontinued the tram and it's not even mentioned in the section entitled plan your visit. Hope this note helps someone else.

Yelp
Beautiful place to spend an afternoon, especially in the fall! Parking is free, which is a plus, and I would definitely recommend buying tickets online. Entrance fee for adults is $20. The line on a Sunday afternoon was very long otherwise. Wear comfortable shoes to walk. There's a tram service available at an additional cost. The entrance, exit, restroom, and gift shop are in the same building - there's another restroom at the Manor as well. The "cafe" is right outside, and has a very limited menu of some salads, sandwiches, chips, muffins, coffee. We were there at about 2pm on a Sunday and they were running out of food. Not too many vegetarian options if that's something to keep in mind. The seating area is outside. It's unfortunate that the park does not allow food to be brought in, especially since the cafe is so limited. The actual gardens are beautiful. The map makes the park seem much larger than it is. 3 hours is more than enough to leisurely stroll through and take photos. The fall season colors were stunning. I imagine the location to be a beautiful backdrop to a wedding or other special event.

Yelp
My wife and I came here because our daughter told us about it. Amazing place. Probably one of most relaxing days we've had in a long time. Beautiful flora, its 300 acres of gorgeous landscaping, luscious flowers and foliage, huge japanese gardens (largest in US). We ended up buying the annual membership.

Yelp
Oh what a lovely day we had at the gardens! We arrived early so parking was no problem. We paid for the day admission, and was directed to a staff member for a quick talk about the gardens. They give you a map so you wont get confused, the place over 200 acres of trees and flowers. Very clean and well taken care of. The owners owns a local landscaping company so you can imagine all the personal detail including his house. You are allowed to view outside the home and sit at the pool, plenty of restrooms thu out. We strolled and just had a lovely day, it wasn't overcrowded that morning. Tip: get there early in the morning. This place is unbelievably beautiful, reminded me of time in Amsterdam with the tulips. Each exhibit is stunning and pretty you don't wanna rush, just relax and take it all in. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Thru out the year they have festivals and bands on the patio, check online for the schedule. Take your camera!!

Yelp
About 220 acres of flowery landscapes and woods await you north of Atlanta. A friend of mine told me about this place last year; I'd never heard of it, and I think it's still not all that well-known. Mr. Gibbs is the retired founder and president of Gibbs Landscaping which apparently is a big player in Atlanta. He wanted to open up his private garden up to the public, and here we are. Gibbs Gardens is known for its millions of daffodils, but we also saw lots of tulips too, along with other pretty flowers and trees. The Japanese gardens and the manor house were highlights. Mr. Gibbs still lives in the house, not sure I'd want strangers trampling around my private home, but to each, his own. Some lovely mountain views can be had over there. I like how you're invited to wander on grass, and there aren't employees supervising you constantly. All the employees seemed grandparent age but were quite nice and kind. Adult admission is $20 but I was able to find a 20% off in a coupon book. You are also allowed to bring in bottled water but not food. Their parking system is a precise oiled machine, with staffers directing you to a space. Parking is free/included in your admission. They hype the annual membership which isn't a bad deal. You can apply your ticket price towards the $50 membership, and you also get a guest pass. Gibbs Garden has a lot of events during the year. Pick up a calendar that describes the peak times for various plants and flowers. The website suggests "Plan on 3 to 4 hours to see Gibbs Gardens in its entirety or 1 1/2 to 2 hours to see either the Valley Gardens or Manor House Gardens." I'd say 3 would be a good amount of time, depending on your tolerance for plants and depending on the weather. We skipped the $5 tram but it's an option if you want it. Gibbs closes at 5 PM but you aren't shooed out immediately so you can squeeze in a little extra time in this lovely place before leaving.

Yelp
I came here on Easter Sunday and let's just say the line to get inside was out the door all the way to the entrance where the bridge was. It seemed like everybody had the same idea. Be aware, the roadway into the parking area is all dirt and gravel so don't drive your expensive vehicles here. Lol. And be careful walking as there are a ton of ant hills. The garden was okay as there were tons of dead flowers. I wasn't impressed with the Is garden at all thus the 3 stars. It looks like a cheap knock off of Callaway Gardens. $20 Admission fee is way too much. Maybe $10. I am not sure how somebody can get a season pass to this place as one time was enough for me.

Yelp
We had visited Gibbs Gardens multiple times in the past. Sometimes we had gone once a year, and one year we got a membership and visited at least 3 times. In my opinion, the best time to visit is in the Spring during daffodil season. If you time your visit right and the weather cooperates, you can see a truly dazzling array of yellow daffodils spread out over a huge hillside. It is hard to time this perfectly, and some years are better than others. There are also different bloom-sections in the summer and fall, but these are not quite in the same category. This year we visited in early March. The garden was quite crowded (on a Sunday, early afternoon). The only difficulty we encountered was that it was not possible to order tickets online that day (due to a server issue). Hence we had to drive over 90 minutes to their site before we determined whether it was even possible to visit (there is no direct real-time phone access). Once inside the gardens it is only a short walk to the main daffodil hillside. There were a LOT of people/families there taking photos or just checking it out. Our overall impression for this visit was that it was nice, but that we'd seen the flowers in even more full bloom in prior years. If you are in the area, this is worth visiting, though.

Yelp
Loved it! Beautiful gardens and forest on 350+ acres. Natural setting with lakes and streams, hillside gardens and owner's private residence. We really enjoyed our 2 hour stroll. The Japanese Gardens are very beautiful. Well worth the short drive near Atlanta and Chattanooga

Yelp
Wasted trip of 1.5 hr drive to find they would not admit a service dog with a leash they did not like. We won't be back.

Yelp
So majestic is the beauty of these gardens! Plan on 2-3 hours and be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and carry your water bottle with you! Endless beauty! So gorgeous that my husband is the one that wanted to buy an an pass!

Yelp
Beautiful place to explore. Wide variety of flowers, plants, and trees. Be sure to wear your walking shoes, not a place for heals. Paved paths make getting around easy but there are some steep climbs to get to the residence. Cute little gift shop. Deli on premise but very limited on options

Yelp
I only live about a half hour from here, but I've never been before and that is a travesty! As much as I love frolicking in flower fields and nature walks in general, I wish I'd known about this sooner. I decided to take my 4-yr-old since she loves dressing up like a princess and taking pictures and this is the perfect backdrop for that. We walked the whole place minus the back butterfly gardens (I was bummed I was too tired to walk there at the end) and it took about 3 hours. We stopped a lot and took pictures obviously, so that slowed us down. There is a tram for an extra $5 if you don't think you can walk for a few hours. We are at the cafe before heading out but I wasn't thrilled with the food or price. A turkey wrap was $9 and didn't come with chips so I had to buy those extra for my daughter. Overall, this was a little steep price wise for a mommy-daughter date but it was worth it. I will definitely be back when the fall colors start to pop because it will be epic!
