Incredible, authentic and talented Roma musicians. They play for tips so will read the room. Don’t request your favourites/western songs even if they can play them exceptionally well.The best option is to let them play what they love, Roma and Hungarian folk classics, & you will experience something special. Do some research on tipping etiquette and respect in this context and you won’t regret it. Wonderful experience.

This place is hands-down the best kept secret in the city. We came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and I am still blown away by the hospitality. Not only did the staff go out of their way to sing Happy Birthday, but they treated us to a private ensemble performance that turned a simple night out into a world-class experience.

Nipped in for a drink on our last day in Budapest, would of loved to see the gypsy music they have every night but our 2 year old dictates otherwise .
Going down into a cellar type room you transport back in time to the real hungary, not like the new bars around the corner .
Old lady made us very welcome and it's places like this you remember, so even if it's only for 1 drink nip in I loved it

On one hand it is magical when they play, but they charge 1000 HUF ticket regardless if the play or not, which was disapointing when I tipped so roundly first visit. Really authentic atmosphere, it is a home, a bar and a concert venue.

This place is so lovely. Gizzy is a gem and treats her customers very well. It was like stepping back in time.if you are looking for an authentic Hungarian gypsy experience this is the place to go. The music started at 10pm, it was outstanding x
