This is my local gift shop and I. Can say that it is THE spot to go between the fall and winter for ornaments, the owner has impeccable taste and there is always such a great array of items available. Literally the perfect spot to find a local gift (truly local!!) for anyone. I have been a shopper here for years and I am always happy to give a gift from gifted.

I agree with everyone else! The smells and the look are really really calming. Love it! Need to go back and get a cute incense tower holder thingy that my friend got yesterday for 10 bucks. I got lots of incense (12 for a $1) and also a beautiful purple rock necklace for $4.99!Amazing service.

Great shop for a variety of gifts. They have a nice assortment of boston based gifts, local handcrafts and then simple things you can buy for yourself. Prices are reasonable-- so I've been using it to get a few accessories for myself. I've gotten the best compliments on the scarf and jewelry I've purchased there. It's somewhere I stop just to see what's new when I'm in the area.

Rudest sales associate I have ever encountered. Just moved to the neighborhood and had hoped this would be my go to gift shop, however after two consecutive unpleasant experiences with the same sales associate I will have to keep looking. After being shouted at from across the shop, addressed in an extremely rude and annoyed tone, and embarrassed in front of other customers I still took the time to thank the sales associate for his help and made a purchase. Did not receive so much as a no problem let alone a “you’re welcome.” My first experience I was treated similarly, and my boyfriend was also completely and noticeably ignored by the sales associate which was extremely bizarre and uncomfortable. I really love supporting small, local, and especially woman owned businesses however after being treated so poorly and with such hostility, as a repeat customer, I don’t think I’ll be able to shop there again.

This gift shop has two levels and is so fun to explore! Lots of quirky and locally made gifts, especially if you're looking for jewelry, stationary, kid's toys, and objects ranging from motivational to sassy sayings.

A perfect destination for greeting cards. The owner and staff are great resources in recommending thoughtful gifts. Nice variety of useful merchandise and art for my own house. I'm a South Ender and think of Gifted when deciding between a nice bottle of wine or a gift for a visit.

Really cute and a wide variety of gift items. I've gotten a few things for myself because I couldn't resist. Some things are a bit overpriced or tacky, but you can usually find something. It's a bit more on the feminine side of gift giving, I'd say.

Great local gift store. Huge selection of cards for all occasions, gift bags and the like, etc. They also have some home goods with a local flair. Always my go-to for small gifts for any occasion.

We thought the selection was cute in the first floor - then we find that there's a floor below that includes a room full of niche products. Whoever is curating their selection of vendors and products - good job. I found most of my souvenir/gifts for friends and family in one go and some others for myself.

One of my favorite stores in the south end to buy gifts for myself or friends who keep popping out kids ;-). The candles are of high quality and burn fantastically. I moved out of the city but make sure to stop in every time I'm in the area to pick up something new

A two-story shop that's larger than it looks from the street. The lower level has a great variety of unique greeting cards for those occasions when the drugstore aisle just won't do. I wish they had a bigger selection of books and puzzles, but overall, there's a good range of products and I usually find something cool when I come here looking for a gift.

This has been one of my favorite shops in the neighborhood and a must stop in especially when family is in town. Countless times I have gotten gorgeous Christmas ornaments and hilarious individual cards to send here. This shoo has even come in clutch for last minute gift boxes that still need items to be added. Super cute kids section as well and really helpful staff. Some of my fave magnets, coasters, cups, stickers and ornaments are from here and truly unique to the area and local artists. If you want to find the one non touristy gift shop that you can find anyone a great present this is the shop for you!

So fun! I want all the clocks! Ranging from kitschy camp to craft couture, the goods gifted at Gifted will fit the bill for everyone on your list: the Boston faithful, giddy grandmas, eccentric millionaires, and (as evidenced by my most recent visit) wee little bebes. Fisher Price and Tonka have their place, just not here - Gifted's inventory skews towards the educational, the tactile, and the local (especially when sourcing handmade stuff). Asked a question, "What do two year old girls like?" Realized a little more preface would have been ideal, but I'm in a gift store, so no misinterpretations allowed. Answers came swiftly, and we walked with the coolest gifts Harper B and Elizabeth G will ever get. EVER! Be sure to scout what's downstairs. And if you're super lucky, you might just get a warm welcome from Bo, the lovable shop dog. Hooray!

Extremely grateful for this store and their incredible employees. I dropped my keys getting out of an uber near their store this morning and a postman found them and delivered them to the store. Nearly twelve hours later I realized I had lost my keys. Tried retracing my steps and went into this store in hopes that they might have seen them. They did! They held on to them and even tried contacting the keycards to see if they could figure out my name/number. I wish I had my wallet on me as the store was incredibly cute and I would've loved to have bought something. Will definitely be visiting when I get back from the holidays. Thank you again!

Gifted is a great place when you need a host/hostess gift, birthday, mother'd day, father's day or any other type of gift giving occasion. While it's particularly skewed towards women's and baby gifts, it's also got woman's and some nice men's accessories and home goods. Another real standout is some of the art - plagues, encaustics, signs. And downstairs a ton of cards for every occasion. Don't forget the generous $5 yelp check in discount!

I have been here countless times for cards, gifts, and other things to put in my apartment. The owner is the kindest, most professional person ever. I love her "can do" and "help you with anything" attitude; she fixed my jewelry (twice!) and did not charge me the second time even. The jewelry was not even from her store; I got it in Maine. Their hours and location are great: right in the heart of South End and so easy to snag a last minute gift or a card. A+ I hope this place never goes away! ~Tamara

I can't pass by this store without stopping in and treating myself to something charming. From artistic postcards to unique earrings to affordable toys and clothes for the kiddos, there's something for everyone. Some of the jewelry seems a bit more expensive than it should be, but it's balanced out by a few items for every price range. Definitely worth stopping in, whether your goal is retail therapy or holiday gift shopping.

The South End is littered with small shops offering unique, handcrafted products and Gifted is no exception. There's a nice variety of glassware, pottery, accessories and stationary. Though I'm not much of an arts & crafts person, the cards were nice and may definitely come in handy for an upcoming friend's birthday.

I am fairly certain that given a cape and a nice tiara, I could save the world. - One of the very cute wall hangings I saw at Gifted. I've been here a few times and just realized there was a downstairs. Sweet. The store itself is pretty small, even with the downstairs, but there are still a lot of quality finds. Where some stores go wrong having a huge space with a million different things to look through, I think Gifted does a great job of choosing some really awesome local artists. From wall hangings to earrings to knickknacks to napkins.. it's never hard finding a gift for someone that I'm shopping for (and finding WAY too many things for myself). I'm the kind of person that's always buying cards even if there isn't an occasion, and I love what they have here. They carry Naughty Betty as well as cards made by local artists. Oh.. and to tug at your heart strings, the owners do a mission trip each year. It is slightly above my price point, but knowing that the crafts are locally made justifies it. And I love that the owners' adorable pup is often in the store browsing along with you!

Great little shop with a nice selection of lovely and unique handmade pieces. They offer a nice variety of products including jewelry, pottery, blown glass, scarves, etc. which is especially great when your looking for a unique gift. The store is well organized and nicely laid out. The staff is always friendly and never pushy. The prices vary and are relatively reasonable considering the quality and work that goes into creating the pieces. Overall a lovely shop and worth a stop in if you're in the South End!

Great selection of cards and gifts! Always able to find a quality card that is a little different but also isn't how to cost an arm and a leg.

I try to shop local when I can and Gifted is a great spot for unique and quirky gifts....dinosaur socks for my husband, reasonably priced jewelry, or a quick kids bday present in a pinch. The staff is friendly and I appreciate that they don't mind when I bring my kids in and they touch everything in sight :-)

Stop here to grab a greeting card on the run - people will think you spent hours looking for just the right one! This is an adorable store with great giftables for women, men and babies. They have unique jewelry, stationary, home goods, and men's ties, wallets and cuff links as well as adorable stuffed animals, onesies, etc. for wee ones. Also, for the winter holiday season, Gifted has a very nice array of gorgeous glass Christmas tree ornaments, holiday tabletop decor and other fun festive things for the winter holiday season (look downstairs!).

The owner has cultivated a fabulous collection of children's books in addition to all the other beautiful things she sells. If you are in the market for reading material for a child in your life (or yourself), this is a great source!

was not impressed at all. Store seemed a bit empty of goods and randomly placed, a bit confusing when trying to buy a gift. I did like the blown glass, but found it pricey.

What a cute shop! I saw the Groupon for the store as I was on my way to Boston for a conference, and knew I had to check it out. As luck would have it, we stayed very close by and I even spotted it on our cab ride through the South End on our way to our hotel. We came in on an evening, and I had a terrible time- that is, a terrible time deciding what to purchase from all the great options! The hand blown glass pumpkins are awesome, and I couldn't decide which I liked best. The jewelry was unique and very cool, the scarves were so soft I couldn't believe it, and the baby gifts were hilarious and/or adorable. I decided on a necklace (wound silver bird's nest with blue stone "eggs"), and because I could only narrow down the pumpkins to two, I decided to go for both and give one to my mom (she had a tough time deciding which one to take when I got back home, too!). The gal working there was nice, not as knowledgeable about the shipping procedure as I had hoped, but we decided to just carry our items on to the plane. If I lived locally, this would be a definite stop for gift shopping (and me shopping)!

I really like Gifted. They have really neat and unique gifts, from jewelry to pottery to baby items. The prices are totally reasonable given the location and the service is friendly, never snooty. I love stopping in to check out new items and scored several Christmas gifts there this year.

They are now in a bigger store on Tremont! Go visit them at their new spot right at the corner of Dartmouth/Tremont.

I left here a bit angry and confused. Stopped in this weekend to check out all the local artists' work. Gifted promotes itself as being a shop with work by local artists. I guess what they fail to mention is that they buy cheap handbags made in China too. I looked at these bags that were front and center in the store and thought they didn't look handmade. the staff was busy with other customers so i googled the brand only to discover it's a cheap, faux leather line mass produced in China. I walked away and looked at other pieces, but now it was in my mind that anything could just be a knick-knack or scarf from somewhere else. I guess i would have felt differently in a mall store where i knew everything was "imported", but i felt they were out of place for a boutique that features handmade pieces by local artists. I'd like to see the owners' response to this discovery

Lovely shop, fun location. I really enjoyed browsing here recently, and bought an anniversary card for my brother and sister-in-law. I could have bought the whole store! Tastefully selected items, accessible set-up, cute dog, and featuring local artists - couldn't really ask for more. Looking forward to shopping in the store and online.

Purchased cuff links yesterday. Fell apart when I wore them today. Called, offered by clear a "store credit." They're 24 hours old!! Owner will call back. waiting..... Next time, shop where there's honest dealings with the customer

Gifted is a TREASURE in the South End! It is my go to for any gift needs! Unique cards, accessories, etc. The owner is sincerely one of the nicest people I have dealt with in some time. She even custom ordered a pair of earrings for me, which I adore!!

Great, unique products that change consistently and are varied in prices. A laid back atmosphere that makes shopping fun and an super-sweet owner. Can't beat it in the South End.

Gifted in the South End is pretty much my go-to shop for all things gifts...bdays, anniversaries, just because presents. I love the different types of items, love the blown glass, love the gift boxes, love the super nice staff. Parking not amazing, but worth driving around the block a few times.

This is such a lovely store. Great set up and atmosphere. Great selection of gifts to pick from Weather its blown glass to jewlery or other little one offs. The owner and her dog make it a great experience to come in not pushy at all and very helpful. Overall a great shop and worth going too.

Extremely cute little store with odds and ends scattered about. I came in for VDay for the husband hoping to score something cool and unique but all I left with was a card. I was hoping they would have a bit more of a seasonal/holiday selection, but the employees, space, and prices made me a fan. I'll definitely hit up this store if I'm looking for something super cute for my mom.

I had such a wonderful customer experience at Gifted. I picked out earrings and a necklace for a friend for her birthday. The cashier was very helpful with the choice and with wrapping. Unfortunately, the necklace broke as my friend was putting it on. When I returned it, they were able to fix the chain on the spot AND they threw in another pair of earrings for free for my trouble. THAT'S great customer service! I'll be back!

I'm from Toronto, in for a few fun days in Boston. Came upon this store, utterly charming, with a carefully curated selection of local artists' creations. Treated myself, then bought gifts. It is nice to see things made in the US by US artists. I totally support that. Will be back.
