Gigi Rooftop Restaurant & Bar

A beautiful spot with such a calm atmosphere that you almost forget you’re in the city. We had breakfast here for my daughter’s birthday, and every dish was delicious. They even surprised her with a little ganache cake and sparkles at the end, which was a sweet touch. I’d happily recommend this place.

Lovely roof top restaurant that shares the area with the hotel pool & sun deck. The restaurant is a covered deck & inside area. Very funky & eclectic decor. No street presence or advertising. Food was very tasty (risotto, pasta & flat bread). Not a long wait for delivery. Good range of drinks - beers, wines & cocktails. All fairly priced. Service was just ok - quickly shown to table, wait to place food/drink order, & a drink we ordered never arrived.

Thank you Blessing for making my 21st birthday special with that amazing chocolate dessert. Service was amazing, me and my boyfriend had a great time, staff is amazing and attentive. I had the prawn risotto (highly recommend) and he had the hand made noodles. We paired it with the Clifton Atlantic Rosé and everything came together perfectly. Thank you Gorgeous George for an amazing 21st Birthday Lunch.

I'm not even sure where to start, we popped here for a lovely lunch in the sun, the food was absolutely unreal, the decor absolutely amazing so modern and fresh! such a unique place with so much to give, it's an absolute VIBE! staff was so so lovely, friendly and welcoming. my better half and I was absolutely vibing, drinks/cocktails was so lovely, music great and the only one massive thing that ruined it was CHLOE, extremely rude, came over and rudley told us we are not allowed on the decking as there's a sign ( bare in mind we took loads photos and even a staff member took photos of us up there and did not say we wasint allowed there, others did too) Chloe rather than approaching us and explaining this like a human she barked at us and walked away while we tried to speak to her ( we was very shocked that some could act in this manner towards anyone never mind a paying customer!) she ruined our whole experience, we did mention this to two members of staff, I however nothing happened we got a sorry that was it. unfortunately people like Chloe should not work anywhere near people, the lack of customer service, empathy, no logic, no respect is absolutely disgusting, she needs a new job and fast before she barks at others! Other than that the place was fabulous 👌🏽 I hope the 2.5mil views I get on here really see Chloe for what she is ( not the first I've met)

Visiting from the US. This is my second time at Gigi’s. Whenever I visit Cape Town, Gigi’s is on my list. They always have great food and drinks. Staff is so nice and friendly. Brandon greeted me as soon as I walked in, and had me laughing the whole time. Ashley made us amazing cocktails. If ever he’s behind the bar, let him make you a custom drink. He’s a real mixologist. 🎉 Definitely my favorite spot when I visit. ❤️

Gigi’s Rooftop is such a vibe! ✨ The ambience is fantastic—chic but relaxed, with the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay all night. The music, the lighting, the view… everything just works together perfectly. Drinks were on point, food delicious, and the service made it even better. Definitely one of those spots that feels special the moment you walk in.

I absolutely love this spot! The staff are incredible and the decor and vibe are amazing. The food is great (Halaal friendly upon request) and their mocktails are truly something special. My only gripe what that service was quite slow. You wait quite a while after ordering to receive your beverage and especially your food. I hope they’re able to iron out that issue soon. All in all, I’m a fan and will be returning!

Went for birthday dinner and it was amazing, the atmosphere is to die for, nice music and perfect lighting. The service was great, shoutout to Tash for being so great, she explained the menu in detail and recommended some great dish, such a sweetheart. Experience was wholesome definitely coming back for cocktails ❤️
