We were in Barcelona in May, us and some good friends. We had the good fortune to rent a flat next door to Gigi’s. We tried it the first night and ate there mostly because it was close. But we were hooked after that. We ate there every night we were in Barcelona except for one night when they were packed. When we decided to come back to Barcelona in October, we told everyone we would be going back to our favorite restaurant in Barcelona. We took new friends there and after one night, they were recommending Gigi’s to strangers. We ate there our second night, and unfortunately our last night in Barcelona. Ada was amazing. Friendly, efficient, attentive. The rest of the staff is great too, but we had less interaction with them. The food is amazing. We love the pan con tomate and the albondigas. Our friend couldn’t get enough of the Gigi’s fries. And the sangria is amazing. We had two pitchers of that, both nights.

Overall great food!!! We ordered tapas and they were so tasty. We got the Japanese chicken wings,croquettes, and papas braves. We also got a pitcher of white sangria! Plenty of space for big groups. Service was good!! Clean bathroom too! Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Nice little tapas bar, the pomelo grapefruit cocktail is one of the best I had. My friend loved his espresso martini. Food. The food here is amazing!! We had a wide range of tapas plates. Onion tarte (foie gras) so good, the meatballs, Iberian ham. We devoured everything.

The food was so so good!! The staff was really nice, the bar tender recommended the dessert and it did not disappoint. I would have never ordered it if he didn’t swear by it. Everything had the perfect amount of flavor. I’d get everything again!

Was there during the holidays and didn’t regret it at all! The food was amazing — tasty, fresh, and full of flavor. Definitely a 10/10 experience. The night vibes were great as well! ✨🍷🌙

Very good food! The mushroom truffle croquettes were a standout. And our server Ada provided great service and was very friendly! Great options for vegetarians, a handful of vegan options too.

A lovely spot for tapas and drinks! There is a 10% surcharge for sitting outside. The evening tapas menu starts at 5pm. The sangria was delicious and the tapas were filling. Highly recommend a visit!

Delicious Tapas and Sangria! We love the lamb, salmon and charcuterie. Their Crema Catalan and Honeycomb Panacota were very good too. The husband chef and wife waitress were great team and educated us about how to eat Catalan way. Thank you so much for the memorable experience.

Seat wait was pretty fast, nice and welcoming, very accommodating! The place has a rustic feel, the lights are dim and overall very chill, good ambiance. They are open late so plenty of time to eat. The staff was very nice, they spoke english which is a plus to ask any questions regarding the menu. They have some non-alcoholic options like mock-tails besides regular cocktails and beer. The food was delish, we ordered a bunch of tapas and everything was so tasty, and good portions too, worth every penny, will definitely be coming back!

The best thing here is the drunken prawns. NUTS! The flavors and the butter and mix is to die for. Get it! Everything else is satisfactory. The long pieces of bread with a middle eastern tzatziki taste dip in the middle is also good. Very kind and funny servers who all speak English.

this place is more like a 2.5 out of 5 stars. we finished walking around the La Sagrada Familia and was looking for a tapas place nearby. we saw that this location had tapas on google maps, so we decided to walk here to check it out. honestly this place is a letdown. the menu was lacking and the service wasn't that good. We did get seated fairly quickly, but it took forever for them to come around to get our order, and it took a while for them to get out checks. as for the food, i ordered a russian salad, potato wedges and bread tomato. the bread tomato was deconstructed and very sad. the russian salad with anchovies was similar to potato salad. The best thing was the potato wedges with spicy sauce. i would skip this place and find something else.

We tried the bread accompaniment, the endive salad, the miso salmon, and both croquettes. Every dish was good, and I would order it again. I thought the prices were reasonable as well. The service was great, and fast (although it was not too busy at 7 pm on a Monday). We informed our server of allergies and he took extra care to ask clarifying questions and confirmed with the chef. All servers spoke English very well. I'd definitely come back here again.

I feel bad writing this review since the server seemed to be running around, but the day we came here it was packed outside with just one waitress. The food was not great. I think it's hard when you go to a million tapas places in a week, get the same dishes and then can compare some that are fine and some that are unbelievable. We tried the tomato bread (which tasted like old stale bread), the croquettes (which were fine), a farro salad and an eggplant dish. The eggplant was so fried that it was almost a challenge to eat. The outdoor seating is great, but maybe we'd tried different dishes on our next visit here.

Great spot with outdoor seating for tapas, super close to my family's Barcelona Airbnb and the Monumental subway station. They were able to seat my family of six right away outside (only wish they had more than two heat lamps so we could have had one too) on Saturday evening around 8 p.m. I believe. We ordered Gigi's fries, huevos rotos, drunken prawns, braised lamb, pan fried chorizo, and the shishito peppers (pimientos padron). I think we also ordered the tacos and the calamari after our initial order. We never got our prawns but that's okay since we had enough to eat. They kindly did not charge us for three hot waters with lemon (most other places in Spain charged for this). Food was good and service was friendly and relatively fast, except for the tacos which our server apologized for the wait.

Great tapas spot, especially for vegetarians! Lots of food in Barcelona (especially tapas) is usually meat heavy but gigi's has a lot of yummy veggie-friendly option which I love. The gyozas are my fav! And the sangria is fire too.

10/10, would highly recommend as a MUST for Barcelona! The food is absolutely spectacular, get the gyozas! Our server, Fabio was incredible. Amazing recommendations and excellent hospitality, left behind a bag and he kept it for us!

My first tapas experience in Barcelona was ruined by an astounding hour wait time for the staff to ask me if I wanted anything else to eat, when I hadn't eaten anything. Then a further wait before my food was started, prepared, and delivered. This has been my only negative experience in Barcelona so far. Sadly they made no offer of any discount on the bill for the mistake. Unfortunate, because if the service had been better I would have loved to return here. There are too many delicious things to eat in this great city to waste more time returning somewhere like this. Check out the excellent Pasta Market instead.

Great place to brunch! They have many options for vegan and many drinks to try. The only reason I'm not giving 5* is because the patio is situated on a busy street. I strongly recommend that you try this place if you're visiting Barcelona.

This place was a nice little surprise on our way to the Cathedral. The weather was nice so we decided to sit outside. We ordered some very interesting vegan entrees. We certainly were glad to bump into this place and would definitely recommend this place.

Sticking wings are the best wings I have ever had in my life. I went here probably 10 times in my 2 months there. Nice staff. Bread and oil is also really good along with the risotto.
