AVOID AT ALL COSTS Gigliotto Stayed here with GB motorhome tours this looks like an idyllic place to stay. The camper area has a foul stench of stagnant water, there are large tanks of slimy disgusting water around the parking . The swimming pool has had no maintainance never mind cleaning in a very long time . There is debris, tissue paper and loose tiles in the pool . The whole pool is a health and safety issue and accident waiting to happen There is no cleaning of the property, We were served meals in a function room, by the most unhappy and miserable staff possible . At meals the tables were cleared before completion of the meal and we were told the restaurant was closed ,despite being well within the opening times.

We enjoyed our night at Agri turismo Gigliotto. The room was very pleasant and the bathroom was clean and functional although the shower door was a little difficult to use. We had an absolutely delightful wine tasting with Giuseppe who served us three wines and food to go with each of the wines. There were only two couples at dinner and dinner was a little basic, but it was tasty and friendly and served with a full bottle of wine. The next morning we asked for a tour of the winery facility and Giuseppe took us up to the winery. He showed us where the wines are made and was very friendly and hospitable about explaining the whole situation. The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking a valley and early in the morning we could see Etna all the way across the island. We really enjoyed our estate.

We loved our stay at Gigliotto, the place was huge and overall very beautiful! Our room was very nice and well maintained. Also the customer service was very good and helpful👌the staff in the restaurant made sure that we got everything we needed for our breakfast. Definitely coming back later!

We spent two nights at Gigliotto in late April. The property is large, no problem with parking. Our room, even though on a simple side, had a large terrace, which offered a fantastic view on the vineyards and the nearby village. Everything in the room was clean, bathroom functional. Throughout our stay, we felt welcome and cared for. On the first evening, my husband didn't feel well, and Gigliotto's restaurant manager (sorry, I don't know his name!) showed the most comprehensive and caring attitude, which was highly appreciated. The key of our stay was the Mayday lunch organized by the owner. It started with a drink and appetizers served on a vast terrace of the restaurant, and continued in the beautiful restaurant with delicious local food. Giuseppe, the reception manager, showed us the wine producing facility, and we purchased some locally produced wine. To add to that, the property is easy to reach from the highway, unlike many other similar places in the region, which sometimes take a few kilometers of a bumpy road to reach. That should be fine if you're on a rented car, but we were driving our own, so that point added to the positive experience. Many thanks to Signor Elio Savoca and his team, we hope to be back soon!

Stayed one night with a campervan, in their "area camper". Flat, quiet and with very nice views. 25€ included power, water, hot showers and access to the swimming pool. Flexible check out time. Only downside, toilets weren't that clean. But overall, really good deal compared to campings.

Golden era passed for this place. It seems that room equipment degraded quite a bit and someone doesn’t want to spend more money to fix things. I had VERY squeaky bed, to the point that that I would wake up myself while making any movement during the sleep. However the staff is very nice and dinner was excellent with selection of local food.

From the moment we walked through the door we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. I recommend arriving with a big appetite, as their freshly grown produce was delicious and plentiful throughout the 3 course meal served. The home grown olives were amazing and their red house wine was delectable. We bought some bottles from their cellar the next day. Our stay was capped with a delightful breakfast on the terrace overlooking the estate. The whole experience was a joy!

We went to this agriturismo for lunch, which was included with a tour to Romana Villa del Casale. The setting was what you picture in your mind when you think of an Italian winery. The surroundings are beautiful. The building where we were served lunch was also beautiful inside and it looked like a lovely place to have a wedding reception. The food was excellent and plentiful - we did not leave hungry! The pork chops and sausages were particularly good. We were also given a tour of the building where the wine is processed. My experience was very good except for one issue - there wasn't anything to dry your hands with in the restrooms of either building! (This is the reason for a less than excellent rating).
