Very beautiful place in front of the beach with an excellent staff and service. People are warm and very helpful if you have any questions or need any help. The rooms is clean and cozy. The room for 2 is a bit small I will say, might need to choose a bigger option if you like having a bit more space. I will add that I thought it was a bit dark and missing some daily light inside. The bathroom outside with open sky was good until the rain and wind were too strong to actually use it. The environment around the hotel is very peaceful and not too busy compared to the center. You can easily rent a bike and go to the center at any time if you want. Very convenient. You have a very good restaurant next door with great selection or food and beverages as well.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed! We just left today and I want to go back already! Gili Eco was superb. My family and I had a 2 bedroom villa. The bedrooms are huge and we loved the additional space of the outdoor living area. |Breakfast at Pasih Putih restaurant was delicious and cooked fresh every day. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Gili Eco they all go out of their way to make your stay perfect. We would like to specifically thank Andrei who assisted us with scooter hire, snorkel hire, horses and more. The whole island of Gili T has such a lovely chilled vibe we could have stayed for so much longer. My only criticism (and this is not of the hotel, but the island in general) is the waste disposal. There is building rubbish and general litter discarded intermittently over the island and a large open tip in the middle. It would be great to see the Indonesian authorities invest in the preservation of this beautiful natural environment.

We travelled around Indonesia for 3 weeks and Gili T was our absolute favourite place! When we arrived at the Eco Lodge we had a lovely warm welcome. We were stuck with the laid back vibe and instantly felt very relaxed. Our 3 bed lodge was beautifully designed and comfortable. We ate the first night it the restaurant and opted for the seafood platter which we chose to eat on the beach whilst watching the sunset. It was a very memorable start to our stay. Breakfast was included in our stay and was delicious each morning. The lodges were well located on the island, one on my highlights was when a turtle popped up next to me whilst having a morning swim. (For sea swimming I would recommend sea shoes due to the rock shoreline.) We holidayed here for 3 nights, but wish we’d stayed for a little longer as we really weren’t ready to leave this beautiful island.

Currently staying at Gili Eco villa’s. After a not so great start (the promised cidomo transfer was not arranged on our ferry arrival), it turned into a fantastic stay. The villas are build from wood in joglo style and are very beautiful and convenient with outdoor shower, nice seating area and airconditioned bedrooms.||The location on the north part of the island is just glorious with beautiful sunsets and morning snorkeling right in front of the hotel beach with beautiful sealife (turtles, tropical fish and nice corals). At the beach there are some comfy beachchairs.||The best part of the hotel is the restaurant, we are pleasantly surprised and impressed by the quality of the cocktails and the food.|The restaurant staff are friendly and service minded. Overall a great stay and hope to visit this gem of a resort again in the near future!

Food was not so great. We took seafood plater, the big one and was't that great. They served some sad patatos and salad and rice as sidedish. 2 days before we ate at wilson's (next door) and the seafood platter was excelent and sidedishes were absolutly great. Will go next door next time

We really liked our stay at the eco village. We had a nice bungalow (B4), with a nice outside bathroom and some great chairs at the porch, from which we could easily explore the island. The location of the resort was perfect for us, in between two very lively areas but with peace and quiet in the part where this accommodation is located. What really, really stood out was the food. The restaurant serves amazing dishes and we actually ended up eating there every day (while we usually never do that, eating at our own accommodation). The ceviche is amazing, and a really big recommendation is the ‘rijsttafel’, which all kinds of different Indonesian dishes, or the fish platter from of the top of my head IDR 450k in total. VERY tasty, and a 10/10 recommendation to everyone to come a pay a visit to the restaurant and also the resort.

Fabulous villas and beach on Gili T. It is an oasis of calm on what is otherwise a pretty busy island. The snorkelling is incredible just off the beach - amazing fish and the occasional turtle. Breakfast is really lovely and we ate many of our evening meals there too as the setting and quality of the food were so good. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at this hotel, which is beautifully located amidst lush greenery and fronts a very tranquil beach. However, despite the idyllic setting, my stay was marred by several negative experiences. Positives: The location is undoubtedly a strong point for this hotel. Surrounded by nature and facing a peaceful beach, it offers an ideal retreat for those looking to relax and disconnect from the outside world. Negatives: Regrettably, the cleanliness of the room was far from satisfactory. Dust was prevalent throughout the room, particularly under the bed, which seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The canopy over the bed was stained with various marks, and even the bedsheets were not free of stains, creating an overall impression of poor hygiene. Additionally, the bathroom featured a woven wooden basket meant to hold used toilet paper and other intimate necessities. However, this basket lacked any liner, such as paper or plastic, which made it unhygienic, malodorous, and unpleasant to use. The hotel offers bicycle rentals for 50,000 IDR per day through an external partner managed by the hotel. Unfortunately, this service was poorly administered. Each day, our bicycles were reassigned to other guests by the hotel staff, leaving us without bikes when we needed them. Moreover, the bikes provided were in poor condition—many had faulty brakes, lacked bells, and had nearly flat tires. I strongly suggest that the hotel discontinue offering this service until they can manage and maintain the bicycles properly. The hotel staff was another significant letdown. They were reluctant, lacking in empathy, and often downright rude. From the moment we checked in, almost all of the hotel staff tried to sell us services or excursions not on behalf of the hotel but for personal gain. While I understand that this might be a local cultural practice, it was extremely uncomfortable to be constantly pressured by the hotel’s own staff, who should be ensuring a stress-free and relaxing stay. Despite the hotel’s name suggesting an “eco” focus, there were no visible eco-friendly policies or services, such as options to save water or towels. If you are environmentally conscious, do not be misled into believing that this hotel is any more eco-friendly than others. Finally, at checkout, we were charged for minibar items that we never consumed. The hotel staff didn’t consider the possibility of an error and made us pay without any investigation. This felt like a scam and left an even more bitter taste at the end of our stay. In conclusion, while the hotel is beautifully situated, the lack of cleanliness, poor service, and dubious practices make it a place I cannot recommend. Significant improvements are necessary for it to be considered a pleasant and reliable place to stay.
