Gili Eco Villas

We spent a few days at Gili Eco Villas in July and overall had a very relaxing stay. The best part was definitely the quiet and peaceful location. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see sea turtles right from the shore — an unforgettable highlight! The water is crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling, and the breakfast every morning was delicious with a good selection and fresh ingredients. There are a few things that could be improved, though. The check-in experience felt a bit unorganized — we would have appreciated more information upon arrival, like where to get the beach towels (which were at a separate reception). The hotel’s own bicycles were in poor condition; while we managed without lights, at the very least all the bells should work for safety. One evening, when we wanted to dine at the restaurant and all the tables were taken, the staff unfortunately didn’t offer to bring over a table from the beach area, which would have been an easy solution. Despite these small issues, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Gili Eco Villas to anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-focused escape on Gili Trawangan.

incredible service, wonderful breakfast, gorgeous clean, cool rooms. i got incredibly sick while i was there and the staff was so accommodating and wonderful, bringing food to my bed and offering to call a doctor to me. couldn’t recommend this place enough. plus a great snorkeling spot right in front!

Overall a lovely stay, quite far from where the ferry comes in and unfortunately the only way to get from the ferry is by horse and cart which was a bit upsetting (for the horses sake). Rooms were clean, staff attentive and the breakfast was pretty good (about what you’d expect and actually probably the best “included” breakfast I had in Bali.

Just had a lovely 6 nights stay at this Villa Resort. The staff are so friendly and attentive, the resort does have a litter problem due to it being washed up from Lombok but the staff do as much as they can to keep the beach clean. The rooms and towels are cleaned daily. Lovely pool area with a great food restaurant.

Beautiful location in the quiet part of the island. Our family of four loved lounging at the waterfront. Good snorkeling - we saw turtles and lots of colorful fish. The cat Susie was a favorite.

Beatiful flats directly at the beach, in front of the corral reef where you can dive with turtles. Hotel staff is extremely friendly, breakfast is delicious. Bathroom is outside of the rooms.

This resort is by far the best we’ve had on Gili T. Clean, comfortable, charming private Villas. Staff are all eager to help and dote on guests! Restaurant is exceptional, food is fantastic with beach front dining . I give it a huge 10 all round

We really liked our stay at the eco village. We had a nice bungalow with an semi-outdoor bathroom. The location of the resort was perfect for us, it’s not far from sunset point and it’s located in peace and quiet part of the islanf locate. The only con is the food that they serve in restaurant was not so great.
