We stayed here for four nights over Christmas.|Location: it is very far from the pier if you have luggage, then suck it up and pay for a horse carriage. It is far away from the main strip of bars and restaurants, which made it nice and quiet but not too quiet as it did have a selection of bars around it. The hotel provide you with bicycles to use which was great, they were basic but functional, although I do think they need to have lights, especially as most of the island doesn't have any street lights, so cycling home can be tricky in the dark.|Room: I loved the open bathroom with fish! The bed was comfortable, and it was a good-sized room, but it was very dark. You either had the curtains open, and everyone who walked past could see in, or you had them closed, and it was very dark. The seats on the decking area were great for chilling with a beer or some food from the bar.|Restaurant: The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed having it on the beach on sunny days. We also sampled a lot of their main menu, and all of the food was super tasty. The big downside was that the flies were everywhere, which was a nightmare when eating. We noticed other restaurants on the island provided customers with bug spray and had other bug repellant measures, which was very welcome. The pool is a decent size but way too chlorinated. Do your best to keep your mouth shut and don't dunk your head under, as I imagine it would cause a lot of stinging with that chlorine. Overall a great stay, friendly staff with food views, but when we stayed there was a ton of construction work going on next door and it was very noisey and started early in the mornings.||

This is quite a low score for a hotel that does so well, but it’s in direct correlation to the price we paid and the fact that I didn’t think it delivered enough for the very high tag of £110 a night. The grounds are lovely, well manicured and clean, the beach bar is great, the rooms are very spacious and we loved the fact that bikes were included. But, the rooms were incredibly dark, to the point where I’d be using my phone torch to find stuff in the case. The blinds didn’t work properly, and the lighting wasn’t sufficient. Also there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which we missed as only one cup is included at breakfast - Plus points for the carafes and filtered water, saving on plastic though. The bathroom is open air, which although lovely was an absolute mosquito fest. Naturally they then fly into the room and we were eaten alive every night. Great concept, but perhaps not in this location! The gym space is a nice addition, but only offers mats and a few weights. The pool was just ok. Quite small and heavily chlorinated and the umbrellas could do with replacing as they’re very stained. I appreciate we stayed over new year, a time during which prices are inflated anyway, but every night of the 6 we spent here was really expensive and I’d have expected a bit more bang for our buck, when compared to other places we’ve stayed in Gili, Bali and Lombok. It may score 4 stars if the price was around half what we paid.

Absolutely beautiful place on the sunset side of the island. It's in the middle of party end up north and the main shopping street down south. The staff are fabulous, the beds and room excellent. The restaurant and breakfasts are a standout with plenty of fair prices gorgeous meals to try. The beach is right there with wifi in all areas, pool, beach and bar. Just a great place to stay.

I had such a great time staying at Gili Teak. Most of all, the people were so kind to us and each other, always helping us sincerely and promptly. Bicycle was included in the price for us which was very convenient since we didn’t have to rent it ourselves. The location is splendid because it faces the sunset directly. After swimming in the morning and taking a shower back at the room, I had just enough time to relax and wind down waiting for the sunset. The room was clean and managed well, the food was good, the laundry was easy as well. I feel so grateful to the staff for the good time I had staying at the resort and I 100% intend to go back if I ever go back to Gili.

We had a super nice, relaxing and rejuvenating stay at the Gili Teak Resort.||We were greeted with cold drinks after walking around half of Gili T with our luggage, which was very much appreciated. Everything from check in to check out went very well and smooth. Hotel staff was always super kind, helpful and accomodating.||They helped us organize a snorkling tour, which was a highlight for us during our stay. They offered bikes as part of the room as well so you can get around the island easily. Breakfast at the beach was one of our favorite things during our entire two weeks journey in indonesia, there is just nothing that can top excellent food with the most peaceful view you can imagine.||We LOVED the inside/outside feel of the room, and thank you so much for providing us with food for the fish in our bathroom. That was such a lovely detail and made us feel like we have our own pet fish. ||Not to forget, they have THE BEST sunset spot!||This has been an absolute blast and your service and cleanliness was outstanding.

great facility, good staff, nice quiet area of the island with your own private beach areas and chill spot. They have a nice small gym with a squat rack, benches and trx as well. it’s about 20-30 walk from the harbour so would highly recommend you to use the horse carriage or a electric scooter to transfer over if you have heavy luggage
