Gili Teak Resort

We stayed in the infamous “room 4”. The resort was great, beautiful, quiet side of the island but nothing is far away. We ate breakfast on the beach where a giant sea turtle popped its head up as it swam by. The room was clean, smelt great, air conditioning worked well. The fish in our bathroom pond warmed up to us by the last day and happily gulped down the food that is provided for us to feed them in the bathroom amenities. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. They swapped out one of our bikes that had an issue with steering with no dramas and provided us with lights for the bike at night. We were in holiday mode and didn’t realise we had left it too late to eat breakfast and catch the ferry- the staff kindly packed our breakfasts in take away boxes and made our drinks promptly as well as ordering us a horse and cart to get us to the port in time. Thank you!

Our stay at Gili Teak Resort was absolutely fantastic without a doubt the best place on the Gili Islands! We stayed in Private Villa 1 with our own pool, and it was simply stunning. The villa had a beautiful design, and the double shower opened up to a pond where you could feed the golden koi such a magical detail, especially for the kids.||The location is in the quiet part of the island, which we loved, yet you can easily cycle around the whole island in just 20 minutes. Bikes are included with your villa, and since we were travelling with two children, the staff immediately fitted them with child seats such thoughtful service.||Every morning we enjoyed breakfast right on the beach, with excellent coffee and a breathtaking view. The on-site restaurant is superb, with fresh, delicious food, and the breakfast options were perfect.||What really makes Gili Teak Resort special is the wonderful staff so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. They made us feel truly at home.||We have travelled a lot, but I honestly can’t think of a better hotel than this. If you’re visiting the Gili Islands, this is the place to stay. Truly top class in every way!

This is a wonderful hotel! we were thoroughly impressed with the experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to assist us 😃. Being next to the beach 🏖️ made every day feel like a vacation, with easy access to sun and sea. The drinks were delicious and the variety was fantastic, perfect for relaxing by the water. From breakfast to dinner, the food was outstanding, offering something new and exciting at every meal 😋. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway! I want to extend a massive thank you to Mike and Sis for their incredible hospitality during our stay! 😊 They truly went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect and that we felt right at home. Roughly 10 rooms in this resort. It’s by the beach on the sunset side of the island which is great, and is also really quiet. AC works well, the bathroom was great, and the shower was the best I’ve had in all of Bali, fantastic water pressure. Food is good, and surprisingly encountered very little mosquitoes. I saw a couple of reviews saying room number four was not good but I actually stayed in that room and it was amazing. 5 stars!

If you are looking for decent restaurant with delicious good, friendly personel and good vibes, don’t look further because Gili Teak Resort offers them all. During a short stay at Gili Trawangan, we were looking for a good restaurant which offers a great menu! The restaurant is not too far from the main coast and has a nice lighting setting, perfect for a good nights ending!||Highly recommended

Would instantly come back! The rooms are beautiful. The double shower is something you don’t see every day. The location is great for watching sunsets. The West side is also less noisy. If you want to do diving you will have to take a bike (in the price included) to the east side which takes around 15 minutes.

Personally I loved this resort. I thought it was a perfect place for us to spend a few nights after exploring the islands. The Rooms are clean and set up like small chalets which i really enjoyed. The bathroom is the prettiest bathroom I’ve seen, with two rain fall showers facing eachother and lots of koi fish to feed!! They also have a gym and provide free bikes you can use to explore the island.

Amazing hotel and restaurant! The rooms are so beautiful and it’s just by the beach. The service is very kind and thoughtful. The restaurant is great and has wonderful views at the sunset. We really loved our experience here!
