Shopping so close to home is perfect! A few favorites are Lululemon, Converse and Coach stores. I treat myself to a road trip 1-2 times a month!

Google
As someone who loves shopping, I was really looking forward to visiting the Gilroy Outlets. With three separate shopping areas and a wide variety of stores, there’s definitely potential for a great shopping experience especially if you're looking for good deals. However, a few things made the visit frustrating. I was disappointed to see that most of the stores had signs saying “no public restrooms,” and unfortunately, none were available throughout any of the outlet sections. It became a hassle to leave the shopping area just to find a restroom at a nearby fast food place. Another issue was the limited store hours. Opening at 12 p.m. and closing by 6 p.m. just doesn’t feel reasonable, especially when there are long lines to try things on or check out. Extending the hours would really help, particularly for weekend visitors and out-of-town shoppers who want to make the most of their trip. I also noticed a lack of visible security throughout all three sections of the outlets. With how busy it can get, having a stronger security presence would help shoppers feel safer and more comfortable. Lastly, I wish there were more dining options nearby. After hours of shopping, it would be great to have convenient places to eat without having to leave the area entirely. Overall, while the Gilroy Outlets offer a wide range of stores and deals, the experience could be improved with better amenities, longer hours, visible security, and more food choices.

Google
@Columbia So, I love a good deal as much as the next girl, but this visit? Not it. From the second I walked in; the energy was off. I felt WATCHED instead of WELCOMED, which if I'm being honest, killed my shopping mood. As if that wasn't enough, my card decided to act up at the checkout (love that for me lol), so cue me feeling even more stressed and awkward as the same employee that was following my partner & I was hovering. That being said, everyone has their days, but I did want to drop a gentle PSA for retail folks: customers can feel when we're being treated as problem instead of a person. Maybe next time, less surveillance energy, and a little more "Hey, how's your day going?"

Google
Gilroy outlets definitely changed over the years, not as much selections as they used to as far as options in the stores they have. Other than that its still a good time to go out and enjoy time with family.

Google
We all know buying at renowned outlets is the way to go to save money. This place has everything you need and then some, always at great prices. All kinds of food near. Spend a whole day there. You won't regret it.

Jacqueline B.

Google
Something for everyone. Shopping is in 3 large sections, so you can stroll for hours. Public restrooms. Some restaurants. Loads of free parking.

Google
Definitely a place to visit when around. It easily takes a day to Rome around. There are 145 Brand outlets spread across this area. Lookout for a deal over there portal so you can avoid so much walking but then miss the deal in the next brand. They have huge parking space spread across the premises so just look for around if you even don't find instantly. They have public toilet, look for the Guide board for one nearest to you.

Great shopping area with so many brands

Yelp
Unless you want the most high-end designer brands, there's no reason to go to Livermore Outlets. In general these days, there are not many clothing stores that offer deals exclusively on Black Friday, so you can go earlier or later that week and still get most of the same deals. Nonetheless, when my girlfriend went to Livermore on Monday before Thanksgiving, it was packed. We came here on Wednesday and it was nearly deserted despite having much of the same stores and discounts as Livermore. It is definitely less walkable than Livermore, requiring you to cross the street to get between various plazas. But it is a great way to get 90% of the shopping experience for 50% of the stress.

Yelp
I wanted to do some shopping today at the Gilroy outlets. The outlets are divided into 3 sections. I only had time to visit one of those sections today. Their website stated that all stores open at 10:00am. But when I got there at 10:15am only a handful were open. Many don't open until 11:00am. Someone needs to update their website. The section that I visited had the following store: Michael Kors, Anne Taylor Loft, Ecco, Levi's, Coach, Calvin Klein, Skechers, Le Creuset and Lane Bryant. They have many more in that area that I did not mention. I like the variety of stores that they have. I they have some food offerings for lunch. They have a McDonald's, Applebee's and Erik's Deli. There's also an In-N-Out by the freeway entrance. Parking is very plentiful in each section.

Yelp
This outlet is outdoors and huge. It's spread out between three parking lots and not really walkable from one lot to another. It's best to drive - we learned the hard way. Lol They had a lululemon outlet, which was our primary reason for stopping. I'm not sure if it just opened or what. The store seemed pretty bare, aside from the clothes. There just wasn't decor or anything. They had a lot of racks to short through though. I was able to find two pairs of leggings in fun colors and it was 75% off!! Definitely worth the stop.
google avatar

Yelp
Quality/Quantity - Back in the day, this was the outlet to go to. Then they opened the Vacaville one and those were the only two outlets in the bay. But now with Livermore, I rarely go to Gilroy and Vacaville. There is literally just one business I visit here - Lululemon. See other review. Atmosphere - Good size mall. Decent prices. Open 7 days a week from 10am or noon until 6pm, 8pm or 9pm. Plenty of mall parking. 145+ stores. 7 dining options. Not too many "Luxury" brands. Service - Depends on what you buy. Price - Below average. Regular outlet prices. If you can find what you need. Owner Comment - Congrats to the current owners of the Simon Property Group and this location's success and all your expansions & acquisitions. 1960's Simon property group founded, REIT. Worldwide company with 232+ properties. 1993 Went public, IPO. 2004 Entered the outlet mall business with the acquisition of Chelsea Property Group. 2020 Largest mall owner in the US.

Yelp
If you enjoy outlet shopping, you can't find a better place to get down to business! There has been a subtle change in the name brands represented here, but All of my favorites are still represented. The parking is plentiful and free, the stores are spread out in different "pods". I find it easier to drive around the various buildings to locate the best area to limit the walking distance. There are plenty of dining options, the restrooms are always clean and accessible! The variety of shopping options can be overwhelming! Take my advice and plan ahead to be efficient. The service will vary from individual store to store but the value is undeniably amazing. I can't imagine a better rest stop on the way to San Jose and points North!
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
Awesome sales here and they actually have a decent amount of clothing in each size so you have options to pick from the salespeople are super nice and friendly we had a good time and the store is clean! SO MANY STORES and my fav part is the in n out
google avatar

Meng E.

Yelp
There is a wide range of stores here with something for (almost) everyone. Parking is decent and it's not too hard to find a spot, even on busy weekends. When I worked in the area, I would drop by once a week or so to see if there were any good deals. I loved roaming around with some friends finding cute clothes and/or gifts. Now that I don't work around here anymore, I just stop at this outlet as I'm heading to/from HWY 152 for a restroom break and to browse around and see if there's anything cute to pick up. Overall, I wouldn't drive here just for the shops here - but always a fun short stop if I'm in the area.

Yelp
The sketchers outlet is really the best place to get shoes. There's also H&M and Express good for dress clothes for work. There's a Applebees, McDonalds and In&Out to grab quick food between shopping. It is REALLY HOT in Gilroy so make sure you are ok walking long distance in the heat. There's lots of parking.
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
It's a very nice family place to shop, you can find a very good deals including coffee and small spots to eat.
google avatar

Darroll L.

Yelp
The outlet stores have been adding great products over the last year. A few stores have closed and new ones have appeared in their places. Still like this outlet a lot. One of the most pleasant surprises was how clean the restrooms were! We normally hit the Lululemon, Nike, Banana Republic, JCrew, Cornology, Janie & Jack, and LeCreuset stores and always find something worthwhile.
google avatar

Yelp
Gilroy is usually one of the top choices for any kind of seasonal sales going on (especially Black Friday). This joint has the most stores in a single area compared to a majority of the malls around San Jose and so on. A wide variety of 160 stores means there are choices for everyone, from the usual Forever 21 rotations and a store specifically designed for Motorcyclists. It's a lot of walking, you can expect to get through a workout if you intend to explore all 4 large sections of the Outlets. The prices are within expectations of reasonable to luxury. Though, with this many stores, you have more than enough options to sort through. It must be mentioned there are BARELY ANY FOOD PLACES around here. Like next to none, damn. Just some vending machines with chips and drinks but no list of restaurants, cafe's, or anything. So just be prepared so you don't get burned out from the walking, I recommend people to remember there is a In-N-Out location in the middle of the outlets. The line will be huge if you come here on a weekend afternoons, so time it earlier if possible.
google avatar

Kimberly P.

Yelp
We came on a Saturday afternoon in June - good shopping day! - and walked around to check the directories to find a restroom. We walked to two different ones that had signs taped to the door saying "closed for maintenance". So we walked across the busy street to another portion of the outlets, and ran into the SAME problem. Not a good thing to happen with two kids in tow. If maintenance needs to happen, it should be on a rotating schedule so that not ALL restrooms are closed at the same time. Way to make customers feel unwelcome.

Sung C.

Yelp
About 30% to 40% of the stores have closed especially areas C and D. Limited dining options except for McDonalds, In-and-Out, Applebees. Seems like this mall is slowly dying. Lots of parking. Hopefully they do something to revive it. Maybe convert it into a Casino Resort with shopping especially since there's no casino resort south of San Jose.
google avatar

Freyja L.

Yelp
This outlets is smaller than most others. There are not too many stores to browse. But there is a Lululemon here and I don't often see this in other outlets.
google avatar

Eva G.

Yelp
Didn't smell the fragrant garlic in the air like the last time we were here. Dropped by to find a few gifts and items. All the shops are spread out around the area.
google avatar

Bharti K.

Yelp
We frequent these outlet malls every few months to buy clothes or shoes. Walmart and other big box stores are nearby so sometimes it's easier to grab household items from this place. They have a huge variety of shops and discounts are usually very huge. And if you carry coupons then you will get all the items dirt cheap. This mall is surrounded by a lot of big chain diners or eating places, so you can shop and eat and spend an entire day there. Parking sometimes could get difficult and traffic jams are common during peak times on weekends. So plan ahead!
google avatar

Jacqueline S.

Yelp
Great outlets, lots of shops and a variety of prices and styles. We like to stop here when driving home from an LA trip. We have our favorite stores and enough LL Bean, Bass, Eddie Bauer and many others Got a mans hoody for 70% off- it's just warm enough and very well made. Sad to see them so empty just before Christmas. We stopped here on a Monday ... great easy parking, but not the normal Christmas experience and hustle bustle. We hope the lock downs stop and the small stores survive.
google avatar

Jane K.

Yelp
There are certainly good aspects to the Outlets! Firstly, it's a pleasant, open-air style shopping mall with a variety of stores catering to many different demographics. Service is usually teenagers just trying to make a quick buck, which I understand, because who hasn't been in that situation? The prices are on the steeper side, but it's part of the experience. I can respect that! What I cannot, unfortunately, is the God-forsaken parking lot. I would rather go through my divorce proceedings again than park there again. The best tactic is to park in the back.
google avatar

Scot M.

Yelp
First time at these outlets. 160 plus stores, and good stores to boot. Downside is the layout. You have to drive from section to section. They are literally across the street from each other. Also, I felt like the prices were still high for an outlet. Just my opinion.
google avatar

Michael W.

Yelp
I have been coming here ever since I was little but as I grow older this place gets really boring. There's a hit and miss associated with this place. First I no longer eat at the In N Out burger here because the price keeps going up. If you are a guy then you will get bored of this place very easily. There's not a lot of good stores for men to buy their clothes here. If you are a family with young children then this would be a great place to take the kids and allow them to walk around. Prices here are NOT an issue for me because they are lower than what I would see in Valley Fair. This place seems to be a big hit among those who live in Palo Alto, Mountain View, Salinas, Monterey and Los Altos Drawback: If you want to go from Clark Shoes to Columbia Outlet you must drive. The mall design is a bit faulty.
google avatar

Irena W.

Yelp
Avoid. Uncomfortable store, bad layout, weak overpriced selections with crummy overworked personal.
google avatar

Crystal C.

Yelp
There is an awesome variety of outlet stores here, most of the stores are open during the pandemic, and all of the stores are abiding by social distancing guidelines. Masks at all times too! Really grateful that there is a huge parking lot, the bathrooms were clean, and there are SO many stores to choose from! One thing to note - if you are going to visit, be sure to look up the directory of where all your favorite stores are located, so that you aren't stuck driving around looking for a specific store. There are four major "hubs" to the outlet stores, so you can find your store that way...buttttttt if you want to make a full experience out of it, make a stop at each location, pick up what you want, and enjoy your visit! There weren't any food options in the area besides In-n-Out, but the line is always pretty busy. Just something to keep in mind. Enjoy!
google avatar

Ultima M.

Yelp
Came here over the weekend 9/26/20 Most stores are open during Covid. The stores that are open are abiding by Covid rules, hence social distancing, mask enforced. Most stores (not all) are only allowing a certain amount of customers in at a time. The Nike outlet store had a line around the corner and into the parking lot. Levi outlet store had a line, but it moved fast. Overall this is a nice outlet shopping center, very clean, parking is plentiful. Many stores to shop at.
google avatar

Sandy A.

Yelp
I like that it's not super congested here. The downside is having to drive to different parking lots to get to specific stores but that's also the luxury of getting more stores. They definitely have a variety of stores. I gave it a 4 because it's not anything special over other outlets. There definitely has to be better food options at these outlets because it can definitely be an all day event.
google avatar

P R.

Yelp
Only 'ok'.. Outlet prices were still pretty high, all things considered. We stopped Volcom, Shoe Palace, Pac Sun, Ariat and Coach. Only at Ariat and Coach were we greeted and staff was nice. The other three stores wouldn't give us the time of day. They were empty and were more interested in texting on their phones than helping us. Honestly, the outlets in Livermore or even Vacaville are way better.
google avatar

Juan V.

Yelp
So many stores. Some really good and some okay. I think it's a good place to find some deals. Many variety of shops of all kinds for retail therapy. It's a good place to find some bargains. This a good place to stop if you are visiting Gilroy.
google avatar

Kat S.

Yelp
Haven't been here for awhile and wasn't looking forward to coming back due to the heat, the crowds, the drive and the traffic. We always stop first at Ann Taylor's and notices some new stores in the Area, JC Crew, Express, H&M but what was surprising was a small farmer's market in the parking lot, a few feet away from In and Out. So few were the stalls, we walked over and I found a plant stall. I am a newbie to the succulent world so I am currently obsessed with finding plants I don't already have AND that I deem "cute". The 2" were $2.50 and I'm so happy with them. One fell over in the car so now it's leaning.
google avatar

Kham P.

Yelp
This place used to be the bomb when I was in my high school years many decades ago! I remember the craziness in trying to find a parking spot, particularly during the holidays or special sales event! Now it's slowly becoming like a ghost-town to me. The deal is still there but not much hot stuff that I have been noticing so far during the few visits few years back here/there. I dislike the fact that the shops are divided into 4 different quadrants by a large intersection. In order to get to the other corner (to continue shopping) one would need to do a long walk across this intersection or have to drive across. This is an convenience to me and am sure to a lot of us, especially with little kids. Being from the San Jose area, I would much rather shop at San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore! Similar deals, more stores & brand names, and a much nicer place.
google avatar

Winny H.

Yelp
This outlet is amazing. There are 4 large sections with plenty of parking and tons of stores to choose from. Purses, luggage, sportswear, cookware, etc whatever you fancy, you can find it here. I like coming here because it's on of the few outlets that have Fox Racing store, Dress Barn, Northface, Columbia, and White House Black Market. Gets crowded during the holidays so come early. There's also an eatery area that offers garlic French fries as well as garlic ice cream. So come and enjoy this outlet!
google avatar

Faye M.

Yelp
This is a very big outlet, like, BIG! LOL The only reason why I wanted to come here, was to go to the Lululemon Outlet store! We did hit a few other stores, and I got some good deals, but I think I'd just stick to the Lululemon store!

Cindy O.

Yelp
Customer service at most stores are not that good. We encountered some that were ok, but the majority seem to not care or just not happy to be there. It is a shame, because I remember many years ago it was a fun place to shop. I guess time changes.

David D.

Yelp
Better even than going to Livermore Outlets. There's even an Eddie Bauer and LuluLemon. Also, much easier to find parking.
google avatar

Israel M.

Yelp
Have been coming here since I was a teenager and things haven't changed. You can still find a good price on anything from brand name purses at 70% off to Nike apparel being discounted generously. Seems like everything is going back to normal went today and every store was full with customers. Dislike : You have to drive from one section to the other because they are across the street from each other. It's like a big outside mall only you can't walk from one shop to another they're all small stores. Variety is ok seems like they're usually not well stocked on items. Overall, good clean place to shop if you're on a budget or looking to get gifts for your friends.
google avatar

Christianne L.

Yelp
I really like this outlet. They have a lot of the stores that I actually shop at! The only 2 things I don't like are: 1) there are 3 or 4 different sections. So if you want to go to another section, you either have to walk (and sometimes it's way too hot) OR drive and park again; which leads me to my second con... 2) PARKING SUCKSSSSSS HERE. It's like they got so excited to have so many stores, they underestimated how many shoppers there would be. Another thing that's kinda sad is their "food court". From what I remember, their food court only had 3 different restaurants. Other than that, there are other small food places spread out amongst the 5 sections: fruit cart, Starbucks, auntie Anne's, and I think one more? Other than the points mentioned above, this is a great outlet.
google avatar

Patricia A.

Yelp
I love coming to the outlets. They have everything that you need for a night out, back to school, birthdays, or just shopping for yourself. You can find purses shoes clothing jewelry and even pots and pans. They have coach Calvin Klein Michael Kors OshKosh B'Gosh Nike Fila and many other stores to choose from or you can shop for what you need. And if you get hungry while shopping you can eat at Applebee's Denny's McDonald's or In-N-Out Burger. The Gilroy premium outlets location is conveniently located right off of 101
google avatar

Josh L.

Yelp
Go shop and have a good time. These are some of the best outlets around. They have a ton of stores to shop at and you could spend the whole day shopping. The options are endless. You have 3 corners to choose from that each have different shops to look through. The prices are fairly cheap and you can get Christmas shopping, back to school clothes, or just a weekend shopping trip done. There are a couple of fast food places to eat or a restaurant or two to choose from if you get hungry. This is always a great day trip for us and we always buy more then we need but that's part of the fun.
google avatar

Jessica F.

Yelp
Gilroy's outlet is great! Before I got there, I quickly browsed through the reviews and saw complaints about it being an outdoor one and hot. I'm from Oahu, Hawaii and the only outlet mall we have is just like Gilroy - outdoor and hot + humid 90% of the year. 60° to me = comfortable shopping weather. The stores here are so much better than the ones we have back home. I liked that they have Disney, J.Crew, Lucky Brand, Lululemon, TNF, Columbia, etc. Obviously I listed the ones I went to and that we lack at our outlet. I shopped, but didn't go nuts because I'm more mindful about my purchases nowadays. The prices and deals were on point though! I don't know what this place is like on the weekend (I came on a Monday), but I'm going to assume weekdays are, for the most part, how it was during my visit. I totally liked the vibe. Parking was easy and the crowd - wait, what crowd? If/when I move to CA, this is one place I'll go to blow $. That's more "if" though. *Sigh*
google avatar

Dag D.

Yelp
The place is dying. Many stores closed. Parking lot empty. A victim of Covid. Wish thy could turn it around but a recession approaches.
google avatar

Sarah A.

Yelp
I shop few times a year from this Gilroy premium outlets, it is a very nice place for shopping. You can find different varieties of shops, prices are good. The best time to go if you can is during the week as the weekends are very crowded. Coach, Saks, Francesca's, the Disney store, and I love the children's clothing stores. I regularly visit the Coach store, I found their merchandise to be in season and a large selection. The deals are Fantastic.
google avatar

Ed U.

Yelp
Gilroy has those Gilroy Gardens and of course, the damn Garlic Festival, which to me is better experienced on your couch watching the Food Network coverage of it. But here is the primary reason to stop in Gilroy on your way from whatever. I can't quite justify in my head making a trip to Gilroy to come to the outlets. It's probably about an hour-and-a-half, maybe two with traffic from San Francisco...but the idea of shopping as a destination sickens my soul. It does...as it means I sacrificed a day coming here, shopping, eating at Jody Maroni's, shopping again, and driving back...when I could have read Proust. Well, screw that...I got six shirts at Eddie Bauer for $9 each and a couple of pullover sweaters off $12 at Banana Republic...and oh, oh...I got some spatulas at LeCreuset. Like a kid in a candy store. But I hate how they spread out all the good stores in the four different complexes, so you have to park and re-park. Damn, it gets ugly when someone aggressively pushes on the accelerator selfishly to grab a solitary space...and I feel bad every time I do it. I hope you realize the secret is to use the parking behind the stores. Nobody wants to walk around the buildings down there. When I was watching "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead", I noticed the mall where the robbery occurs looks identical to Gilroy's set-up. Then I realized these outlets are set up the same everywhere. Pretty generic because who cares?....Eddie Bauer shirts for half-off. Hell. I'll just listen to Proust on books-on-tape on the way back.

Yelp
This is a great place to find bargains if you're a savvy shopper. Just don't get bamboozled into thinking everything is an "outlet" because some of these "outlet prices" are the same here as a regular store. I recommend coming here on a holiday weekend because you're almost always guaranteed to get the good sales at those times. Here are my top 3 spots like I like to hit up here: 1) Nike: Good place to find cheap shoes. Especially for me trying to find something to cover my size 15s. 2) Vans: I'm an "Old Skool" guy, but they have all the new styles, too. Their prices are slightly ($10) below what you'd find in a mall. Their big-size selection kinda sucks compared to the mall stores, tho. 3) Gap: I love their jeans and children's clothes. There's plenty more and something for everyone. My one major gripe with this place is it can be kinda annoying that all their stores are spread out and you have to drive around to get to the spots you want to hit up. I'd much prefer everything to be in one place like a mall; just park once; get out and hoof it from place-to-place, but whatever. Enjoy and don't spend too much! I know I always do.

Yelp
In the advent of the technological advances of this day and age, I'm thankful for the google maps app on the iPhone for its guidance in showing us the route to this outlet mall. This mall is certainly off-the-beaten-path, but I think worth the journey for the bargain-hunter, outlet mall shopper, or possibly anyone that likes a road trip. SHOP: This outlet mall is divided into 4 sections, which certainly equates to "there is much shopping to be done!". The sections are within walking distance of each other, but of course there is also the option of just driving, which I certainly preferred (driving is convenient so you wouldn't have to carry your shopping bags all around). I was thankful to find sale items at the Gap, Banana Republic, and Bath, and Body Works shops. I would say I scored a coup' at BBW as they had some of their "classic scents" on sale, those that are sold only online and no longer available in stores. PARK: Plentiful at each of the 4 sections. NOTE: I suggest driving to each individual section and parking near stores you'd want to look in or shop at to use time wisely. The locations of the bathrooms are a bit of a mystery as singage is missing or non existent. Bottom Line: I think it's worth the trip to this outlet mall if you have the time to spare and are in search of a bargain.

Yelp
I do like the Gilroy outlets, 'tho there's four quadrants, so you need to walk across the fields and streets to get to 'em all. They have a good mixture of stores. They don't have any high end fashion couture other than what you'd find at Saks Off Fifth (even their selection isn't divalicious). But they have all of the staples of stuff for guys, girls, kids, babies and lots of shoes. If you do a YELP CHECK IN you can get their "Passport" which is a $5 value (you can also get by showing your AAA membership card) that entitles you to some discounts ranging from 10-25% off or around $25, but many are handcuffed to purchase minimums of $50 to $125. It's worth getting nonetheless 'tho since it's free and if you're shopping and spending anyway why not save more.

Yelp
We love stopping by here when were on our way to Monterey. They offer a nice amount of shops to browse, currently though some are disappearing left and right! The once food court they had has been stripped down to bare bones! Just a kiosk that nobody is really at or also known as the "information desk" and a watch store, oh also the restrooms. They have an in-n-out here as well so you can't go wrong! Here's the kicker though! Not all of these stores are "outlet stores" some are but the others are actual stores, so don't be surprised when you're getting charged full price for an item.

Yelp
I went here once and it was OK. Unfortunately, I was going to see one store and had a bad experience. But I'd like to visit again. This outlet center reminded me of a bunch of strip malls next to each other. I'd like to go back and just walk around the area. I'm not in Gilroy often, but if in the area I'd go back to see what they have and write a much more thorough review.

Yelp
I have been coming here for decades... It is a nice drive from the South Bay and is the biggest outlet mall I have ever been to with a lot of great options. It does get busy on the weekend, so plan accordingly. Just wish they had better dining options but there is an In N Out right by the exit.

Yelp
I love coming here sometimes. They have interesting stores. The one thing I don't like is this mall have 4 different shopping centers and I wish its all in one so we don't have to walk to others centers or drive to each one. This Disney store have some of the old items from the Disney park you can get for a really good price.
