Gilutongan Island is a breathtaking paradise with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life, perfect for snorkeling and diving. The island's serene atmosphere and stunning white sand make it a must-visit for nature lovers. Check out this aerial video to see its beauty from above! [

the island has clear emerald waters. you can see the corals and fishes from your boat or by the port. the long wooden port bridge is scenic. BUT very dangerous for the untrained. it was in terrible condition when our group visited. a wrong step and a terrible accident could happen.

The first time I visited this island was for our school work and it wasn't commercialized yet. Now, there's a big signage with the island's name, a restaurant with live band, and a proper docking area. You'll have to pay extra though if you wish to swim near the docking area. Be wary of sea urchins though and also there are a lot of tourists swimming/snorkelling on the same spot.

Small but 1000 people are living. And the reataurant's seafood was great tasty. Small children cell cute shell at $1. It's beautiful.

I went here for Psychosocial Services (for Bagyong Odette) with my Colleagues from USJ-R - SDPC in partnership with RAFI. It was a half day experience and my first. It's heartbreaking to see what the typhoon has brought to the locals of this Island. But also overwhelming to see how positive and faithful they are believing that this too shall pass.

Had an outreach program at Cordova Elementary School with Laag Bisaya Team last weekend. The island is peaceful and great place to relax, chill and play with the kids and locals ❤️

I can tell this place would be worth it to visit on summer but definitely not July!
