I LOVE THIS PLACE. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT GIMME THE SCOOP. I grew up getting the italian ice from the old huskerland popcorn as it was owned by a friend of my Grandpa and I was so bummed when they stopped having Italian ice and there was no place to get it in Omaha anymore. and then I found the gimme the scoop truck at a Gifford park market and I honestly fell in love!!! I am allergic to milk so i can rarely eat ice cream type things but I can eat everything at gimme the scoop!! The owner is super understanding of dietary restrictions and awnsers every question I have. The italian ice is so delicious, every single flavor is wonderful. and today i tried the lemonade and when I took my first sip my jaw literally dropped it was so good. I live in council bluffs but I drive 30 minutes to get italian ice. The woman who runs gimme the scoop is also a legitimate angel, one of the sweetest people i’ve ever met. the lemonade was only 10$ and it’s a huge portion. The lemonade and the italian ice is able to survive a 30 minute car ride and is just as delicious.

Our family absolutely loves Gimme the Scoop! Our son has a dairy and egg allergy, so finding safe and healthy soft, cold desserts for him is a challenge outside of the grocery store, that's full of fruit flavors. It's truly a blessing to be able to go get a cold treat from a place that offers stellar customer service, creative and delicious Italian ice flavors, and cares about the integrity and quality of their brand. We love Gimme the Scoop and are thankful that they are in a brick and mortar now so we can have it anytime! But we're always excited to support whenever we see their truck, especially at events where we can't have treats off any other trucks or vendor tables! Highly Recommended!

Came across them at Junk Stock in Gretna and haven’t left since. They have the BEST Italian Ice. It’s smooth and the flavors are POPPIN. Mix up to 3 flavors in a scoop?!? You’re crazy if you only get ONE scoop. You WILL be back, I promise. And they are inside of Huskerland Popcorn?! Kill two birds with one stone why don’t you. You will NOT be disappointed. Ever!! You MUST try Gimme the Scoop as soon as you can. Best Italian ice around! The flavors are incredible and you can mix up to 3 flavors per scoop. Be warned: it'll be hard narrowing it down to three, so you'll probably want to do an extra scoop or two. Service is top notch. The owner and her friend are so nice and make you feel welcome. I didn't feel rushed to make decisions; they let me take my time, and offered samples and suggestions. I chose a scoop with watermelon, black cherry, and peach. The peach was my favorite, but they all had such great flavors I'd order any of them again. The scoops are large and the ice is so smooth and creamy. It's 100% vegan and a great dairy-free alternative. I can't wait to visit again.

We saw a TikTok about this place. We love Italian ice but haven’t found a place in Omaha until now! We got to try pear, mango, blue Raspberry, and cotton candy. We thought it was very good and generous scoop size! The staff was very friendly. The flavors were good without being overly sweet! Nice light and refreshing.

This Italian ice is so delicious, you’ll be dreaming about it! Great flavors, perfect level of sweetness, and fantastic texture. I first tried Gimme the Scoop at Taste of Omaha 2024 and it was so good that they were the main reason we came back for the 2025 event. My favorite combo so far is strawberry mango, but I can’t wait to try more.

My family visited tonight and we all loved it! Staff was friendly, informative, and attentive. We each got different flavors (pineapple, cherry, cotton candy, and Pop’s Fav). We were all blown away by the cotton candy. The flavor was spot on without tasting like typical artificial cotton candy. If you’re looking for a sweet treat, we highly recommend Gimme The Scoop!

So, I stumbled across this place. My wife went to get popcorn at Huskerland. This Italian ice is so good. The service was on point. Excellent job.
