Ginganga Lodge, Galle

This is one of the nicest places I have stayed at in all my travels . It was the best place we stayed at travelling in Sri Lanka for 3 weeks and is exceptional value for money . The food is incredible and so beautifully presented. The staff are so helpful and friendly . The rooms are just beautiful and very clean. It is a very calming peaceful place and would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone having any doubts thank you guys (Mike & Mechelle ) 😊

My stay at Ginganga Lodge was a little different from most guests, as I was unfortunately very unwell during my entire visit to Galle. However, I couldn’t have been in a better place. Every single member of the Ginganga Lodge team went above and beyond to look after me — I honestly received better care than I would have at home. Beyond that, the lodge itself is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. It’s surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife, with a river running behind the property where they can arrange a wonderful boat tour. The guide was fantastic, and we saw incredible wildlife including monkeys, water monitors, bats, snakes, and kingfishers. The owners have created something truly special here, and their passion and ethos clearly shine through in the entire team. I’ve travelled to many countries and stayed in all kinds of accommodations, but Ginganga Lodge is easily one of the best places I’ve ever been. Thank you to the whole team for everything! 😊

I recently had a day outing with my friends at Ginganga Lodge, and it was a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful, calm, and perfect for relaxing with friends or family. The villa staff were very supportive and friendly, which added to the positive experience. They have a good parking area available, which is convenient. However, our package didn’t include evening tea, we had to purchase it separately. I believe it would be better if evening tea was included in the package. I’m not sure about the other packages they offer. Overall, it’s a peaceful place with great service. I definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

This location was absolutely breathtaking! We never imagined it would be this beautiful and peaceful. Every moment here was truly memorable, and the surroundings were just perfect. Definitely planning to visit again soon. Highly recommended!

We stayed for three nights at Ginganga Lodge, and it did not disappoint. The rooms and dining area are beautifully decorated, and the entire space feels serene and relaxing. Mahir and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable—the breakfasts and dinners were exceptional. The lodge is in a fantastic location for visiting Galle Fort and exploring the surrounding areas. It was truly the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. We would definitely visit again!

A lovely place. Pool maintained well. Food was nice and well prepared. Service offered was superb. Don't get let down by the road which leads you there.

We stay at Ginganga Lidge for one night. The place is absolutely incredible. From the time when you walk through the door, you are made feel like a valued guest. The rooms are so beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The food is prepared especially for you and is beautifully presented and tastes incredible. We have stayed at more expensive places in Sri Lanka (Hilton Hotels) but this place by far was our favourite. It is so peaceful and you just do t want to leave. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Galle

Ginganga Lodge is located right in the rubber plantation, in the heart of nature. The location is just 20 mins drive away from Galle fort. My wife and I, together with our daughter stayed here for 1 night. We were housed in the double deluxe room. The lodge was beautifully designed with rustic and local culture setting. The service staffs were warm and courteous, assisting us as needed. We had an unforgettable stay and we will come back here again!
