Disappointing Experience Right from the Entrance — Definitely Not Booking Here
I recently visited this hotel to check out rooms for an upcoming function, as I was planning to book over 50 rooms for our guests. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the very start.
As we arrived, the security guard at the entrance was extremely rude. A simple question about parking turned into a tense and uncomfortable situation. He spoke to us in a disrespectful, almost aggressive manner. It felt like he was trying to intimidate us rather than assist.
Hoping things would improve inside, we approached the reception desk, but the receptionist was equally unprofessional. When we politely asked to see available rooms (as we were there only to check the rooms before booking), she bluntly said, “We’re full,” and refused to show us anything. Her tone was rude, dismissive, and made it seem like we were bothering her.
When I calmly asked for her name so I could raise our concerns with management, she refused to provide it, saying, “Why would I give you my name?” This kind of behaviour from someone in a front-facing customer service role is simply unacceptable.
Later, the manager came out and, to his credit, he was polite and apologetic. After checking the system, he confirmed that 4–5 rooms had been checked out and were available to show, exactly what we needed to move forward with our large group booking. It became clear that the receptionist had lied or simply didn’t want to assist us.
Given the fact that we were ready to book over 50 rooms for a function, this treatment was not only unprofessional, it was truly disappointing. We left feeling unwelcome and disrespected.
No matter how nice the hotel might be, poor staff behavior ruins the experience. If this is how they treat potential clients bringing significant business, it raises serious red flags.
I would strongly advise others to think twice before considering this hotel. If this is how they treat potential guests and large bookings, it raises serious concerns about how they handle actual stays.
