Google
Ginger Garden was the first place I ate when I traveled to Arizona, and it was delicious. It was my first time in the state, and I was really in the mood for American-style Chinese food. I ordered the orange chicken and the beef chow fun, and both were super flavorful and deliciously seasoned well in all the right ways. Everything tasted fresh, they didn't cheap out on the toppings, and this really hit the spot. I'd definitely eat here again!

Google
Clean restaurant, good service and tasty food. There were 6 of us that met for dinner and we each ordered the Special Family Dinner. This included an appetizer, soup and fried rice of our choice. We ordered 6 different entrees so we could all try each dish. There was PLENTY of food for all of us and we had 5 to-go boxes when we left! Worth a try if you’re in the SE Valley and looking for Chinese food.

Google
Very nice family owned bussiness. They make sure you are well fed and happy. Dishes are very healthy, fresh, and perfect for any emergency or even sick people. My recommend the vegetable soup 🍲, low in salt 🧂. Chinese rise is also very tasty, not greasy, and fresh. Very affordable, clean and top service 👌.

Google
Great food! We picked up a to go order for our first time there. Big portions and the food was amazing. The service was great at pick up as well! Looks like a clean, cute place so we plan to eat in next visit :)

Google
This has been a go to place for me and my dad for years now. I always order their fried chicken with fried rice and those crab cakes. It is soooo good. I recently went there about 2 or a day ago because I was out of therapy. It filled me up and the lady there who always says that I am growing is so nice! I have one tiny problem though. Sometimes, the fried rice is dry and tastes like it was microwaved. But I shouldn’t even be complaining because I eat that up too. I’ll continue to go to this place and will continue to eat that good fried rice! Also their wait time is so fast that I haven’t even eaten a chip from the appetizers and I love that.

Google
Stopped by for some Mongolian Beef and was not disappointed. I chose lo mein instead of the rice and it soaked up the sauce nicely. I ordered takeout and even though it appeared to be a one man show in the front of the house, the service was not lacking. I'd come back again just for the customer service, so having great food on top of that is a bonus.

Google
I did a call-in order and was very happy with the food and service! The restaurant itself is very charming and seemed like a peaceful place to eat. The price may be a little up there, but the portions are pretty BIG for one person. Fried rice is perfectly cooked and just like we do it in Philly 🥰 All I can say is, I wish the sesame chicken had a littleeee more sauce, but that's just personal preference. Give them a try!

Google
First time trying this place today on Sunday. Great service from explaining their to go dishes & sizes to being patient with us reviewing menu. Got home tried the house fried rice and orange chicken . Taste was fresh and had great flavor. Definitely my new favorite spot for Chinese food.

Lynda S.

Yelp
I went there with my family for the first time and I had an exceptional experience. The service was great and the food was very tasty! She goes all out to make her customers happy.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Arizona. Growing up in San Francisco, my standards for Chinese food are pretty high, and this place delivers on every level. You can taste the quality in every dish, and the customer service is exceptional - something you rarely see these days. They've struck the perfect balance between outstanding food and genuinely personable staff who provide top-notch service. I would honestly eat here every day if possible, but I don't want to burn out my taste buds! I'm a huge fan of their Kung Pao chicken and fried rice. While I used to stick with the side portion of fried rice, I highly recommend getting the main course fried rice instead - you'll never regret it. The portion and flavor are absolutely worth it. This restaurant has earned a permanent spot on my favorites list, and I can't recommend it enough!

Yelp
We moved to Queen Creek about a year ago and haven't found a good Chinese food restaurant. We recently started going to church in this area so decided to check out Ginger Garden. We are glad we did. It's almost impossible to find General Tso made with dark meat. but they do here and it's pretty good. We also ordered the shrimp & snow peas with white sauce and Four Seasons with beef, chicken, pork, chicken with brown sauce and lots of veggies. Both were fresh and delicious but we especially liked the variety in the Four Seasons. The customer service is friendly and our food came out quick and hot! They do a lot of To Go orders! We look for to returning!

Yelp
Use to love going here. I ordered the Mongolian beef with white rice. The food is still good but so many veggies and not much meat now. The prices have also gone up and the service was just okay, not super friendly.

Yelp
Good food and service, but overall vibe was dark and there was a roof leak pardoned off, requiring maintenance, in the middle of the restaurant.
google avatar

Samantha G.

Yelp
Clean, delicious, fast service, reasonably priced, friendly. Very efficient. Booth and tables available. 3 bar seats. Serves alcohol. Located near EOS on SW corner of Higley & Pecos
google avatar

Yelp
Consistently delicious with great service. Always the same lady working when we come during the day. She is so friendly. Food is always hot, fresh, and fast. We love the Mongolian beef and kung poa chicken. Never disappointed when we dine here.

Bobby p.

Yelp
I've tried their food before and they had really good food lately. The food is really bad. The food is really bad. I got the Mongolian beef and taste it really bad. They're not paying attention to the quality of the food anymore.

Yelp
We love eating here all the time. They earned an excellent Grade A inspection report. We eat garlic vegetables and orange chicken. Thank you

Yelp
Hands down the best Chinese food we had in the east valley. It had great flavor!! we enjoyed sweet-and-sour chicken, chicken, lo mein, and sweet-and-sour soup. We ordered to go so we did not eat there. We can't wait to have it again.
google avatar

Holly M.

Yelp
Stopped in here on way home from work for sizzling rice soup and chicken lo mein. The soup was fantastic!! Has chicken, shrimp and all the veggies. Only negative was rice was hard and not the usual crispy texture. So I just ate the soup alone. Once I ordered it the food was ready in about 5 mins so that's awesome.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place, but it was just ok for me. It's probably me. There were plenty of orders going out/being picked up. It started out nicely with a Light fluffy little fresh wonton and veggie egg roll. They only give you about a tablespoon of sweet and sour sauce in an itty bitty cup. Although those items Must've been fried in the right temp because they weren't greasy and they were hot! Egg drop soup was ok.. However, it wasn't flavorful at all... which was very strange? Then I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp. The sauce was very light, hardly savory and i received about 9 shrimp. I like extra peanuts, so i should've asked for them... of course it's just me ... but it didn't come together for me at all. My kung pao shrimp had nice sized shrimp, but there was literally ONE hot pepper in it!!! It wasn't spicy in the least! Missing lots definitely. The lo mein was flavorless really, with nothing in it! Shocking... The staff seemed to have good rapport with the locals, although I won't be back. It's nice that I got lots of rice ... but there weren't any veggies or even Green onions in it? You could hear the wok going in the background, but it's not someplace I would return. Here's a tip - if you're going to sit in a booth make sure that you are skinny because they're pretty tight. It's pretty inside, clean too and they were very fast to pick up after patrons. It's pricey baby! And their soft drinks/ machine tastes like it needs a good cleaning. I hope it sits well in my stomach..

Yelp
Did a pickup order. Got orange chicken and fried rice. Was very mediocre and did not impress me. Would if rather gotten Panda Express. Also got the crab rolls and those were decent. Got my order on time. Probably will not go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Placed an order for takeout. Everything went smoothly and friendly host. The fried chicken wings were quite good and gave a good portion of them. Wonton soup was really good. The broth was flavorful, wontons were good and the added carrots/cabbage was interesting, but good! Orange chicken was quite tasty. Perfect balance of flavor. Beef chow fun...this was almost below average for me. No option to select it with gravy, but it lacked flavor. I requested with bok choy and it was not added. All in all, not a bad place to eat. I'd like to try a few other items, but still on the search for an authentic Chinese taste.

Kyle

Yelp
Lady was super nice and food is good. Ordered off menu and it was able to be done. Would come back again.

Yelp
Small family owned restaurant. Very clean. Positive : I ordered Kung Pao Chicken and for a dollar more you get egg drop soup and two vegetarian egg rolls. Very good. Service was slow to greet me but after they brought the food they were very attentive. Negative: I had a diet coke and with tax and tip my Kung Pao Chicken was $27.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food! Not greasy, very flavorful! Hit the spot. We ordered chicken lo mien noodles, orange chicken with chicken fried rice, and hot n sour soup. 10/10 on all dishes. Will order from here again!

Yelp
Ordered an order accidentally while trying to price it out with Uber eats, cancelled it immediately within 12 seconds I was told by Uber- Called the restaurant to confirm I cancelled it-gave her my name, she confirmed no order and I would not be charged 2 days later I am charged 47.20. Uber refuses to refund because they said it was accepted 12 seconds after I ordered it but I had called the restaurant with my name to confirm cancellation. And today I called the restaurant again and confirmed they never made the order but accepted payment for it- No resolution. That's a lot of money to just donate for free to the restaurant. They would not even honor any credit at the restaurant even though they admitted nothing was ever prepared so basically they stole my money for a 12 second gap in cancellation which I called to confirm as well- Do not recommend this restaurant. Sad too used to be a good customer.

Yelp
Like the food, taste but the portions on take out seem to be smaller than what you get served if you eat in just my observation seen people getting containers after they ate their meal once again my point of view, but I know it's me I have trouble paying $18 for fried rice chicken when it's only rice more than it is chicken

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch on a rainy day. Had the lunch special Started with the hot and sour soup which had the right amount of spice and flavor. Could have been a bit hotter (temperature) I had the kong pao chicken which was great. The chicken and veggies were cooked nicely and had a nice flavor with the perfect amount of heat. Hubby tried the Mongolian beef. Good spice level, beef tender, the veggies were crisp but not hard. The sauce was excellent. The fried rice was delicate and mixed great with the sauce. Both dishes came with a veggie roll- which was just okay and a crispy crab Rangoon which also was okay. The lady serving us was very nice and attentive. As a plus the bathrooms are immaculate. Overall some of the best Chinese food that we have had in AZ.

Yelp
Ginger Garden spices up our takeout rotation! We've ordered a couple of times from Ginger Garden. The first time was takeout, the second was through Uber Eats. We have not been disappointed! We've had the following: Hot and sour soup (bowl) $7.95 Kung pao tofu $10.95 Mongolian beef $12.95 Shrimp fried rice $10.50 Everything was fresh and delicious. My favorite so far is their shrimp fried rice. It comes with several large pieces of shrimp. They don't skimp on the protein! The portions are generous as you can see in the photos. The prices are very reasonable, too. Everything was packaged well and ready for us when we arrived to pick up. The staff was very sweet and friendly. We will be ordering again from Ginger Garden!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent food and service. My husband and I are there a couple days ago and the food was excellent and so was the service. Granted. It wasn't very busy but the wait staff was nice, polite, and very attentive. We'll definitely go there again As for a previous review about it not being "authentic Chinese food"...seriously? That person needs a lesson on kindness.

Yelp
Food was good I got the ginger chicken it was wonderful but wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be and the ginger was heavy !
google avatar

Rick S.

Yelp
Girls lunch out. All 3 of us enjoyed everything. Shrimp and snow peas was great. Quite a ways away or we would go back more often.

Yelp
We went there on New Year's Day what a great place the food and service were amazing. My mom had the happy family so tasty . The others in the party had sweet and sour chicken and the combo with chicken pork and shrimp the breading was crispy without being too heavy the fried rice was excellent. I had the Singapore noodles another big time hit I have found my new Asian restaurant . Definitely worth going back.
google avatar

P B.

Yelp
Food was very good. Everything came hot and fresh. The server was very polite and professional. She however was the only person, therefore Abit slow. All in all she did a great job.. I will absolutely return again
google avatar

Yelp
The sweet and sour combo said it was shrimp scallops and chicken. There were a few shrimp but everything else was dark meat chicken. All deep fried and the veggies were just awful. Onions and some peppers but not chow mein, just plain sautéed tasteless. It was served with a pot of sweet and sour sauce and a pot of tepid fried rice. Really disappointing.

Yelp
Phoned in an order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I told the hostess I was 20 minutes out and she said she would wait to place the order. When I arrived they had just brought the order out. Service and hospitality great! Next the food that's where most of the Chinese food places we've gone to over the past 5 years fail. I'm happy to say the Chicken & Broccoli, chicken fried rice, BBQ Pork and Hot & sour soup were excellent. We will be frequenting Ginger Garden. The BBQ pork was different than we'd had it before. Seam like it was steamed or boiled in a red sauce. Served with a perfectly spicy hot mustard. Next time we will ask for additional red sauce as well. Looking forward to trying some of their other dishes and maybe dining in.

Yelp
VERY clean , delicious and ,great price for the menu items . Winnie our waitress so pleasant and cheer full attitude . our regular place closed down . so we did a research and found this place . 9 miles away.

Yelp
We ordered here once before and I recall the food was good. It was a bit of a drive, but we tried it again tonight. I wish we hadn't. Pan-fried Potstickers - Good and a nice caramelized char around the edges. 5/5 Orange chicken - seemed to have a heavy amount of some seasoning, maybe a 5-spice seasoning. Not sure if it was star anise or fennel seeds, but it was off-putting. 3/5 Sliced pork- the color was a little pale compared to most other restaurants, but the meat was tender. It had more of a sauce than a glaze, but it was decent. 4/5 Mongolian chicken- We ordered it non-spicy. Ended up throwing away a $14 entree bc it was inedible. The entire dish was covered in spicy sauce and no one could eat it. I guess it's possible the sauce is inherently spicy and cannot be made non-spicy. But if that's the case, I wish someone had told us. We would have ordered something different. Now we had someone without an entree, and he is the one who drove all the way to pick it up. 0/5 Fortune cookies - not a dealbreaker of course, but a nice treat normally. These were extremely stale and ended up in the trash.

Kevin W.

Yelp
Still easily the best Chinese food in SE valley! Great flavor! Definitely try the namesake dish!! Only problem is they're closed on Tuesdays. Someone we want to eat there every Tuesday as a result. We've only had to go and they've never missed a single item in probably 100 times eating here!!
google avatar

John-Paul F.

Yelp
I ordered take out ...the food was excellent ! Coming back for more ! I had the lo mein noodles with pepper beef .

Grace H.

Yelp
Had ginger garden delivered and as I was scooping my sauce onto my chicken I uncovered a fly in my sauce. I'm not one to complain about bugs but I definitely don't want to eat them with my dinner. Ordered the sweet and sour with fried rice. Everything else tastes good but not sure if I ever trust ordering from ginger garden again.

David L.

Yelp
We dined in the restaurant. The service was incredible. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and it was cooked perfectly.

Yelp
Can't get any better Chinese food within the Gilbert/East Mesa area! We picked up take for the family. Ordered several items like hot and sour soup, dumpling, crab rangoons, pan fried noodles, ginger fried chicken, and a few veggie and beef/tofu dishes (don't remember the names). Wow. The generous protein portions and sauce alone were delicious. Not to mention the perfect crunchy veggies and sauces of each dish! I enjoyed everything that was ordered. Honestly one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. Give them a try! I'll define back when family is in town! Service was great! Prices are reasonable. Tables and restrooms were clean. Easy parking.

Irene R.

Yelp
This place is ok, but just ok. I have never had chop suey with a brown sauce, not what I had expected. The won ton soup was bland, very little flavor. The fried rice, was rice with a brown sauce. Fried rice usually has vegetables and egg, not their's. I'll stick with Singing Panda their food is waay better.

Hector M.

Yelp
My favorite local place, the decor is beautiful and the food is even better, the lady who is always at the counter is the sweetest person ever she always remembers me and my order

Edmond R.

Yelp
Food was ok but vegetables and rice were cold and egg roll was not have filling. Soup was good but no crackers. I don't know how yelp gives 4.5 stars. Place is clean and cool, but that's all.
google avatar

Gee L.

Yelp
Been here twice. Food is good. The flavored lo mien was better than the side version. Kung pao chicken was yummy. Hot n sour average. Chicken chow fun was my favorite so far. A solid Chinese take out meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Ginger Garden has become my go-to choice for takeout. Through several visits I have sampled a great portion of the menu, Hong Kong noodles, General Tso chicken, Orange Chicken, and Lo Mein are my favorites. Restaurant is family owned and run. They take great care in both the preparation as well as making sure your to-go order is correct. I am normally ordering 6 or more to-go entrees and it is near impossible to sort through an entire order trying to verify everything is correct. Not a problem here most time they inspect the order as they are handing it to you pointing out each of the dishes you ordered. I do wish they would mark the containers with an identifier but that is more an issue because my orders are large. I have never has a missing item or incorrect order yet. The dining area is clean and large enough for several parties. I would not mind eating in it just has not happened yet. It is an irritation when I see stock overflow getting into the dining area. Not an issue here the front of the house is perfectly maintained. I highly recommend a stop in to Ginger Garden.
google avatar

Mitchell L.

Yelp
First time here, lunch with friend. We shared dinner for two, which includes soup, small egg roll, fried shrimp and crab puff each. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Entrees were General Tso chicken, orange chicken and pork fried rice. Food was a bit bland, but hot and fresh. Good size portions. Service by very nice young lady was genuinely friendly and attentive. We agreed that we would return!
google avatar

Jake B.

Yelp
I think these guys have delicious food at a reasonable price. They are located very close to where I live at Higley and Pecos Road. I would highly recommend them.

Keith K.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. I'm from the N.Y. area so I'm kind of spoiled when it comes to Asian cuisine. I enjoyed it so much that I ate there 2 days in a row! Highly recommended! Casual dining at its best!!!!!!

Gabby R.

Yelp
Lovely!! The absolute best spring rolls! Everything is excellent, but those darn spring rolls are just impossibly perfect! You'll be promptly seated and enjoy every minute you're there, just wonderful!
google avatar

Moncerrath N.

Yelp
Service was fast, the restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere. Our server was attentive and helped us answer questions about the menu.
google avatar

Shane Marie A.

Yelp
One of my friends told me about this place and said it was great but when my husband brought it home & we took a bite, I honestly believe it would have been better to take-out at Panda Express. We ordered the Chow Fun, orange chicken and fried rice. The chow fun and fried rice were very plain. The orange chicken was also pretty bland. The orange chicken at Trader Joe's tastes more authentic in my opinion. I'm not sure if the chef changed or the chef didn't want to make an effort but we definitely wouldn't come back here again. I gave this place two stars because at least the food was made on time for us to pick up.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the best Chinese food in AZ hands down! The staff is amazing. Thank you for everything you do -Joey

Janet F.

Yelp
Food was a BIG NO! This was not Chinese food but their own concoction. Big quantities, bad quality. Super sweet.
