Ginger Indian Cuisine

Pretty good Indian cuisine in Central Richmond. We tried the Butter Chicken, Coconut Curry Chicken, and Samosa Chaat. All of them were tasty and not spicy. I would go with the regular samosa next time instead of the one with chaat. Service was good and it was pretty quiet on a week night. Lots of parking as well in this mall.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Will not order again or recommend to anyone at all! Extremely upset by the lack of care, concern or accountability by the staff I spoke with. I have been a long time customer for over five years. I had an almost $75 takeout order which included a couple green salads for the first time. I ordered online on their website and nothing was mentioned about the salad being spicy or containing chillies. As someone who isn’t Indian and doesn’t eat Indian salads regularly, I was unaware that there were 5-6 full size chillies in the salad. My friend who is allergic to chillies had the salad and took a bite without realizing the chillies were in it, and had an allergic reaction. I also did and it completely ruined the rest of the meal as my mouth and palette were on fire! While I would clearly expect the main dishes to be moderately spicy, I would not expect a salad to be extremely spicy. Furthermore, not everyone likes or can handle spice like that, and it should be left as an “add on” option for those that want them. I called the restaurant with my concerns and suggestion that they revise the description on their website. I spoke to two different staff. They were both VERY rude and unprofessional in their tone and response. They didn’t take any accountability at all or acknowledge my concerns, or even apologize for this after I told them about my friend being allergic. No care at all! Just told me how it’s normal for Indian salads to contain chillies as if that’s something I should automatically know. Was also told to next time mention they not add that in my next order--no apology or offer to make up for this in any kind of way, and as if there was going to be another order after this incident. I felt ignored and wasn’t taken seriously at all. That is not how you make a customer feel when they bring genuine concerns to your attention. I was almost made to feel in a way that it was my own fault because “ The chillies were full and not cut up so I should have seen them”, and I “should have written in the notes that there was a chilli allergy” . As if I knew there would be chillies in the salad when that’s the only thing my friend had so didn’t think I had to. Also saying “They were full size placed on top for you to see it”, when they were really mixed all throughout it and blended with the lettuce etc. I was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt as a long time customer, but the manner in which this was handled and the outright rudeness and dismissiveness makes this completely unacceptable.

Great food,excellent service and great ambiance. Palak panner is bit salty but other dishes are super tasty and freshly made. Must try if you are in and around Richmond, BC area.chilly gobi is so good.

Came here for lunch and was seated right away. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The space feels new, clean, and nicely decorated with a comfortable atmosphere. We both ordered the lunch special, and the food was delicious—flavourful and well-portioned. I think the price is fair for what you get. I’m pretty sure I’ll be back, and I definitely recommend checking this place out

I had an exceptional dining experience at Ginger Indian Cuisine. The moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for an amazing meal. Every dish we tried—from the richly spiced curries to the perfectly grilled tandoori specialties—was bursting with authentic flavor and beautifully presented. The balance of spices was spot-on, and the freshness of the ingredients truly stood out. The staff provided attentive and friendly service throughout, making excellent recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty. This is honestly the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. The flavors are incredible, and every dish I’ve tried has been amazing. The only issue is that the portion sizes seem to get a little smaller each time I visit. Other than that, everything is excellent.

Interesting time! Bathroom stinks but other then that my samosa was full of love 👌👌👌👌🥹🥹so much love from the staff i told them about my cat and they expressed gratitude and such the walls in the bathroom were sprayed with a beautiful brown paint

I ordered Kadai Paneer today and honestly, it was incredible! The flavors were on point 👌🏻 just the right amount of spice, and the paneer was cooked so well. Thank you so much for the amazing meal! I'll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend it to anyone craving some delicious Indian food!

Came here for the very first time and it didn't disappoint. First of all, the restaurant didn't smell of strong spices and place is clean. My only comment on its ambiance is that it's too dark. East Indian food is the last on my list but have to say I loved this resto. Every dish has thick and rich sauce I couldn't resist basmati rice and the garlic naan bread. Very happy to have found this in Richmond.

Beautiful ambiance and polite, attentive service. We both ordered the lunch special, one veggie and one meat plus the garlic naan. The naan rocks! The food was very good and the right amount for lunch. Delicious!!

The ambiance was good. However the food is just average. Samosa was not cooked inside. Handi Chicken with two pieces of bone chicken and creamy curry sauce. Since we were hurry to drive back to Seattle, hence we stopped by at this after seeing some yelp review.

I think I can proudly say that had the best Indian food on my trip to Vancouver at Ginger. The chicken tikka was amazing. The lamb korma was soft and flavorful and the garlic naans were amazing. Special mention is the yummy mango lassi. The place was pretty neat with soft music in the background and pretty friendly staff. Highlight is once you checkin you get 10% discount. Overall a great experience and food.

Everything was delicious, our usual palak paneer and navrattan korma test choices. Will definitely go again when going to the Vancouver airport.

The restaurant is located in decent area with ample parking space. The ambience and dining room are great. We went for dinner and loved the food. One of the best Indian cuisine ever. The interiors are not any worse than a high-end restaurant. Chicken tikka, one of the most popular dish with good seasoning mixed with onions and red bell peppers are out of this world. Honey garlic chicken wings that's extra crispy with good seasoning and the meat just fells off the bone.

I came here for dinner recently and tried their Meat Lover Dinner Special. I opted for the Vegetarian Pakora Appetizer, and they had Butter Chicken and Lentil for the night. Everything was quite good with the butter chicken a bit sweeter than expected.

Looking to get some take out lunch today, I remembered my good friend talking about Ginger's lunch specials. I called ahead and ordered naan, lamb korma, samosas, and their lunch special butter chicken wrap, which came to just a little over $30. The restaurant set up a sanitation area before you enter the restaurant and barriers were set up at the counter. My food took 25 minutes to make and was ready by the time I arrived. The food was still quite warm when I got it home. The samosas were in a paper bag and had a really nice spicy kick. The lamb korma was not spicy at all and had a rich, coconut flavour. I will definitely ask for this to be a bit more spicy next time. The wrap was butter chicken and rice wrapped in naan. I felt that this was mainly carbs and not enough chicken, and pretty dry as well. I liked most of the things I ordered and will definitely try some other dishes next time.

When it comes to fruit drinks at East Indian restaurants, I am a fan of the Mango Lassi, essentially it's Mango with yogurt with milk I believe. Carbs...definitely the Naan bread. I had two types of Naan, the original and the Paneer Naan, which consist of stuffed cheese, cilantro and spices. It was a nice touch to have a variety to try a paneer naan, tasty, not over toasted or under toasted, just about right. A Meat Lover special that is preselected by the chefs. 1 appy, 1 meat dish, 1 veg dish, rice, naan, salad and dessert (please view the picture) and a separate dish was the Butter Chicken (please see photo captions for more information). Normally when going to East Indian restaurants, it's either in Surrey or Vancouver, this time around I decided to try out the one in Richmond. Expect to get gassy the same night or the next day or following days, it all depends on everyone's body functions. So please be prepared, you have been warned. LOL...seriously. Most East Indian food are loaded with spices, so if you are well aware of the heat, let the waitress/waiter know to make it mild or no spice at all. The service was good and the food was great. I recommend this place if you are craving East Indian food in Richmond.

My new favourite Indian cuisine to go too in Richmond! Their butter chicken isn't as stuffy nor filling yet it's just right and mouthwatering and their fried chicken including their mint sauce is just perfect! It goes amazingly well with the fried chicken! Service is always polite & patience - ambiance is actually quite pleasant and romantic!

Today, I woke up wanting to try new restaurants and so my boyfriend gave a high recommendation with this restaurant called Ginger. We've passed by this restaurant around Garden City a few times, but never went in... so I decided to give it a try today. Let me tell you when I say, I didn't regret it! I ordered the fish pakora and it was done so perfectly! I ordered Raita along with the fish and it didn't let me down at all! I'm very satisfied with the service and the order! It won't be the last you've heard from me! Also, thank you for keeping your doors open for customers like myself! When you think of Richmond you very rarely do you think of East Indian food, but who knew there was this lovely gem tucked in the city Ginger Indian Cuisine is from northern Indian and they serve a variety of authentic Punjabi food. We ordered the Fish Pakora + Lamb Korma + Butter Prawn + Garlic Naan. The prawns were very meaty and was a nice alternative to the typical butter chicken. The fish pakora and lamb korma are two of my hubs' favourite dishes that he heavily hinted he wanted to try and he was happily satisfied with the two dishes here! The fish pakora was battered nice and light with the right amount of spice. A must get with your dishes is the garlic naan! They are super fresh and flavourful with the bits of garlic and herbs on it. Compared to a lot of the East Indian restaurants I've went previously I find the dishes here are more generous and they also give a good amount of protein in it too! We even had extra to bring home! IMO left over Indian food is THE BEST! Can't want to enjoy them again for lunch tomorrow!

SUPER DELICIOUS GEM ALERT. Lately I've been obsessed with Indian cuisine, especially super delicious samosas. Let's just say this restaurant hits the spot perfectly. We have been going here since their old location years ago, and now they are at a way more accessible location with tons more parking and tables! (Take out only due to covid restrictions). * Veg samosas ~ these are bomb! I always have to get them when I'm here. It's huge! 2 pcs and they are full of flavours. The filling is smooth and delicious and that chutney sauce is outstanding! Really ties in the samosa together! It has a super crispy exterior and a lot of filling on the inside. * Rogan josh ( lamb dish ) ~ this is good for those who loves a load of different spices and flavours! Super rich in spices and the lamb was super tender and nicely cooked! It has a thick sauce perfect with rice or naan. * Butter chicken ~ 100% classic must have! Super flavourful and delicious. Not too spicy but super bomb with garlic naan. Chicken is nicely cooked and I love how much sauce there is! * One plain naan ~ can't go wrong with such a classic naan. Mixture of crisp and chewy. Perfect texture to eat with rice, or their saucy dishes! * One garlic naan ~ I can eat like 10 of these! Super addicting and good! This with the butter chicken sauce is bomb! Can't go wrong with the delicious garlic spread on this. * pilau rice ~ this is a nice twist on the basic rice. It has a lot of spices infused into it. I recommend this rice with the lamb dish! * Aloo gobi ~ 100% bomb! The sauce coating the cauliflower and potatoes are so delicious and rich. Good mix with butter chicken and the garlic naan. * 10/10 ~ I honestly love coming here! Probably my go to Indian cuisine restaurant. if you were to ask me where to go, this is the place!

My partner was craving butter chicken so we searched around and decided to try Ginger Indian based on their reviews about their butter chicken. We ordered the butter chicken, curry chicken, garlic naan, and the lassi. The butter chicken, garlic naan, and lassi definitely hit the spot. The curry chicken was good, but didn't wow us. Towards the end, I did find some kind of hard metal piece stuck in one of my back teeth and showed the waitress. She said it looked like a piece of aluminum which I acknowledged that it could be, but it was a sharp piece that couldn't be bent.

Hard to find good Indian food outside of surrey. There are a couple Indian restaurants in richmond that are good and this is one of them. The interior is clean and does not have that curry-carpet smell that at times other old restaurants have and the floor is not sticky lol. I like the korma over there.

First time trying this restaurant out. We got seated pretty quickly but no servers came over or brought any waters for quite some time. We got the vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, rogan josh, garlic naan, roti and some rice. The samosas came out first and I was surprised by the way they looked. It's not your tradition triangle shape. This was round and it sorta looked like a soup dumpling (XLB) but bigger. It was delicious, especially the sauce. I personally don't like lamb, so I found the tikka masala a lot better. Not just because of the meat, but the sauce it came in. Delicious. The garlic naan could've been more garlicky. It was also a little burnt on the other side. Overall, mediocre Indian restaurant and a little pricy for what you get.

We went to this restaurant when it was first opened and my wife and I loved it. Their servers have always greeted us warmly and they have a very good lunch special. I do suggest if you don't like a spicy dish then try butter chicken. Their basmati rice, naan, chopped salad and chick peas are to die for. The butter chicken itself is so rich in flavour and sweet in taste. We always order Samosas for starters. It's not a traditional triangle shape as they made it round and big. Stuffed with a lot of flavours inside so this dish might make you half full. I recommend trying the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. This was my first time trying this dish and I cannot fathom how delicious this dish was. I personally would ask for extra garlic naan because the sauce on this dish is amazing. One small flaw I would say is that the price range for the dishes are a little high. I do understand that maybe due to it being a new restaurant they would want to see where their value in the market place would be. Overall I would give it a 8.5 / 10. Their service, menu and food dishes are great. Prices for the food are pricey and sometimes the naan could have more garlic on it. Will be going to this restaurant again today after a long hiatus. I can't wait !

Ordered calamari was soggy and tasted bad .. won't order any food from this place .. worst

I ordered some samosas for take out. It was different from most samosas I have tried because there was a salty seasoning coating the exterior of the samosas. The filling had a darker colour from the spice mixed used to flavour the potatoes. This was just an okay tasting samosa because I did not like the salty seasoning.

We've been here for lunch before (pre-pandemic age) and my bf was excited to try the butter chicken wrap. They are very affordable at $6, but boy were they disappointing. The wraps were dry and we expected a buttery sauce. The chicken was dry and there were 4 pieces in the whole wrap. I'm not sure how they rolled the wrap because there was tinfoil rolled inside the wrap (as shown in the picture). There was also a beautiful finishing touch - a RECEIPT on my wrap. No, this is no just a receipt on the box or inside the box, this was a receipt on my wrap rolled inside the foil. Beautiful addition.

4 stars. Have eaten here about 5 times and it's a nice place to come for some Indian food. It's clean and there's always tables available. Food is solid - love the chaat papdi, naan, kebabs, Chana masala, and butter chicken. The samosas and pakora are only so-so here. Good portion sizes. Main downside is the service. It basically consists of them taking the order and dropping it off. Mostly younger female servers who don't have the best attention to detail (e.g. numbers of container bases and lids not matching) and don't do any check in (e.g. often run out of water). That being said, it's a casual meal that comes quickly. Family friendly.

Was really lazy on a Saturday night and decided to order some Indian food for takeout and this is really close. We tried the chilli chicken which was decent. Deep fried chicken in sweet and spicy chilli sauce. We also tried the vindaloo chicken and asked for mild spicy and it still kicked my butt (probably wasn't mild..) and the sauce was pretty good. The garlic naan is delicious yummy.

Great friendly attentive service. Good flavor and the right amounts of spice amd heat. Not too runny with the sauces and the Naan bread was made just right. Garlic naan was just goood. Portions are made for 2ppl. price is $12 to $15 a dish. Naan and rice sold seperate. Price is normal for indian cusine. Ambiance is quiet with light indian music and very clean layout.

The dinner special is a pretty good deal. You get the curry of the day (both time I got butter chicken), a (default) vegetable curry, an appetizer (I got the paneer pakora), rice, raita and a gulab jamun. You also get naan on the size. This is a one person dish and it's a lot. It's below $20. If you can make it for lunch, it's even cheaper. Good quality indian food at a reasonable price.

This is not a restaurant that I will ever come back to. I ordered a Biriyani takeout with instructions for NO cut onions in the rice due to allergies. When we opened the packet at home, there were lots of cut onions in the rice. We called the restaurant to inform them but the lady on the phone insisted that I never mentioned that instruction. When I asked to speak to the manager, the line was cut off!! No one called me back even though they have my number. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone nor will we ever come back here again.

We tried the lunch meat special for $11 - large plate for small eaters. Took home half my plate. Meal included flavourful butter chicken, chickpeas, four portions of naan bread, and cucumber salad. Masala chai tea comes in a regular cup ( which I find small). Tea was strong but flavourful but I asked for hot water to dilute it, Excellent attentive service by the two waitresses

We ordered several samosas and a Chicken Tikka Masala just to give the place a try (we've been taking about trying it for ages!)...food did not disappoint. Samosas were delicious - plenty of filling and spiced just right. Only downside was the wrapping was a bit on the salty side. Our Tikka Masala was full of flavor and was done perfectly. Service was prompt (called and food was ready within 20 minutes) and courteous. Will definitely order again from here though next time we're going for a feast!!

Ok we're in! We finally got here and are so happy our favourite Indian restaurant is closer to where we live now. Lots of take out orders leave the door during this busy Sunday dinner time. It's buzzing and busy. Happy to recognize some of the staff so this new place feels familiar. Bigger and more like a classy Indian restaurant. If you know the original location, then you'll know here. Hope you enjoy.

I went here for a business meeting and I must say... The owner and his staff was very accommodating! The food is incredible with pretty big portions I would definitely eat here again and I highly recommend it!!! #veryhappycustomer

Food is cold. Naan bread came out cold!! Spinich/chicken dish smelled like fish. Possible cross contamination. Returned it. They still charged on the receipt. Although we got a refund but still we had to ask for it. Service clumsy. Waitress dropped fork on my white shirt and stained it red. Not going back!

This is probably my second time only having Indian food out so you may not take this review too seriously but I loved this place! It's in a less busy strip mall complex than others in Richmond so it was easy to find parking. I came here on a Saturday evening around 6 and got a seat right away. They mostly have booth seating, two higher tables and some lower tables by the window. Really nice environment. The servers were friendly and service was quick. Got garlic naan ($2), rice ($1.50), butter chicken ($14), and vegetable samosas ($4). All of the food was delicious!!! The samosas are a little bit spicy (great for my tastebuds) but I heard another customer in the restaurant comment on this to her friends. If anything, the chicken was a bit dry since it is chicken breast, but the curry makes everything heavenly :)

Had the chicken Tari wala and vegetable biryani. Really flavourful rice dish and chicken tari wala was great too. I prefer thighs over breast so found the chicken a little too dry for my liking. Waitresses were great. I'd come back again for sure.

Ginger makes a great first impression. From the sudo mission statement on the glass panelling on the entry way to the updated and comfortable dining room dripping edgy Indian pop from the ceiling speakers. I'm lunching solo and have the restaurant to my myself as I initially sit down. I'm greeted warmly and ask about the lunch specials. No hesitation by the server, she gives me the rundown, there is a veg or a meat lover's option for 11 bucks. The meat lovers is butter chicken today, so that's what were going with. For the record, I'm not a big butter chicken fan. I just think it lacks the amazing complexities found in a lot of Indian dishes. However, It seems to be a gateway dish into indian cuisine and has many fans. What can I say, butter and cream makes people fat and happy! The dish comes with basmati rice, chick peas, naan, and a chopped veggie salad. I think the salad is red and green peppers and cucumbers in a ranch yogurt sauce. I cant taste the ranch and the cucumber should have been peeled. It's just too much hard skin Ruffage and not enjoyable for me. This might just be personal preference, I'm not sure how others feel. The rice is standard. Now to the chick peas. Not mushy! God I hate mushy chick peas! These chick peas have the firm consistency I love with a decent sauce. Still well below the benchmark for chick peas that is the GM Restaurant in maple ridge but still good. The Naan is more than acceptable as well. So were left with butter chicken. Its sweet, rich and tangy. The kind of flavor great Italian chefs can also create by melding butter and tomatoes in a long steep simmer. Sitting in this love pool are 6 or 7 chunks of beautiful breast flesh. Here, Ginger has overcooked the chicken, leaving some of the pieces dry. Come on Ginger, the sauce is impeccable, don't over cook the chicken! That being said, it's still very good. Thanks Ginger! I will be back

Atmosphere: Dark clean wood interior that is very inviting. Lots of seating for large and small groups. Price: Standard prices compared to other places. Customer Service: Beyond friendly and charming with some great recommendations. Food came out in a timely manner. Food: You had your unusual suspects in terms of selection, however, was in the area and was having a craving for tandoori chicken so that is what I came for with a side of rice and chai. The chicken was nicely marinated and was a good portion for the price.

I've eaten at quite a few Indian Restaurants in various parts of Canada and have spent a month touring around India. I was not very impressed with the quality of the cooking at this restaurant, other than the naan, raita, and a few of the starters. The basmati rice was dry and tasteless. The butter chicken was sweet, which I found odd, and was mostly sauce with little chicken. Our meal cost over $100 for a party of three. I don't think I will be returning.

Chilli chicken was not my cup of tea in that it wasn't full of sauce. I didn't taste a lot of spices. I really was hoping for a lot more pureed peppers and spices. Not bad.

Lamb vindaloo is too good. Full of spices and flavour, but u might wanna pass if you dislike oily dishes. Chicken pakora is tasty also, bit dry if u dont use the dipping sauce. Tandori chicken tikka was the best though, loaded with red and green peppers, onions, and a generous amount of chicken. Definitely worth trying at least once.

last sunday's dinner with family and friends proved to be a phenomenal one. a friend told me about this new indian restaurant in my hood and we decided to give it a shot. turns out, one of the best indian places that i have been. the place had good ambiance and vibe, not to mention excellent food. it can easily rival tasty in delta and give them a run for their money. for price, food quality and service! truly 5 stars! we ordered lamb kebabs( served on a sizzling plate) , classic butter chicken, lamb tikka masala, chicken tandoori, paneer , basmati rice, and of course garlic naan! lamb kebabs were awesome! perfectly seasoned and charred served hot on a sizzling plate. no weird smell, instead very aromatic with cilantro and other spices as well as juicy and tender. the butter chicken was superb! one of the best ive ever tasted! big chunks of chicken simmered in authentic and think chicken butter chicken sauce. sauce was heavy but not too much. the combination of spices was just right. lamb massala was likewise superior. lamb was fork tender and sauce was aromatic and bursting with flavour. the paneer was good too. provided a good balance to the thick sauces from the other dish. the paneer ( cheese ) tasted fresh and the spinach was creamy and smooth, giving the dish a perfect balance. and the chicken tandoori was served on a sizzling plate too. huge chunks of chicken, so juicy and moist, it was an entree by itself. and laslty, the garlic naan was without a doubt, the best dish of the night! it was simply pure heaven with every bite. the bread reminded me of the pizza crust in naples italy. thin, crispy and a bit chewy, basted with real garlic butter. total delight and satisfaction. i used it to soaked up the sauces and meat, as well as the rice . freshly made as ordered! simply amazing! service was also excellent. the staff were friendly and efficient, functioning like a perfect brigade. not a single thing was overlooked. they took orders, made recommendations, and made sure the water bottle was also stocked with cold refreshing water. all of this was done with smiles all around, it made us feel all so welcomed! highly recommended! possibly the best indian restaurant in richmond! you will leave 100% satisfied and happy! prices are very reasonable. they've got lunch and dinner combos for one which will blow you away. im already planning on visiting again! this place will become one of my go to's for sure! i will come back again and again! happy eating!

Where do you go for curry in Richmond? Thanks to the folks at Feast Festival I was able to get my bite at Ginger. Located in a suburb mall with good parking, Ginger has a hidden exterior that's filled with amazing spices upon you entering. Ththe visit saw us ordering Rogan Josh, butter chicken, and a veggie platter. The platter was a combination of pakoras (veggie and paneer) and samosa. Although the samosa was one of the largest that I've had, the paneer pakora was freshly made that's hot and soft to eat. To enjoy our curries we also ordered some amazing naan bread (garlic and original) that's flaky, soft, and hot. Being a sucker for garlic I'd definitely recommend the garlic naan. These naan went very well with the two curries, a lamb and a chicken. The two meats are well simmered and cooked, such that with a light bite the meat fibres just come falling apart. The Rogan Josh was by far our favourite and one that you need to order to experience how great the cooking at Ginger is! If you aren't leaving the restaurant with a bag of packed food, you're not doing this dining experience right!

Had take out for New Year's - the chicken tika masala is just delish. The butter chicken and the paneer is pretty good as well. It's a big hit with the family definitely and we will definitely order it again. Come check out this joint when you have a chance.

I was not a fan of Indian food until we went to this place. We were here the eve of the Canadian Thanksgiving Day to have something other than chinese food in Richmond. To my surprise, the food was really awesome, reasonably priced and the service was great. Infinite parking space.

Awesome food awesome service !! Had a group luncheon. My friend and I came here 50 mins late . But our food came together with all our group awesome . No waiting

The food and service was good but I have had better. Everything was ala carte. So by the time you add the price of the entree, rice and naan bread it was not that much cheaper then the Indian restaurant close to me (walking distance) and their food and service was way better. So if you like Ginger Indian Cuisine try Ember Indian Kitchen at the South end of No 2 Road.

First time trying Ginger Indian Cuisine, not impressed. When I normally order Any Indian dish it includes a side a rice. Unfortunately, not at this restaurant, the menu specify what is included with the Meat dishes or vegetarian dishes. After I nicely asked the server about it, she pretty much ignored the our table for the rest of the our meal. There was absolutely no quality check, my friend finished her drink and not once did they come and ask if she wanted another until the server noticed that we were finished with our meal. Never going back to this place.

It is new location in Richmond. I wanted to try since it open. My son asked me to dinner and asked where i would like to go. So i choose ginger indian restaurant and was not disappointed. The service is great and food is delicious. We will be back.

We visited ginger the first time when they were at the Bridgeport location and loved the food. We had visited the new location precovid and it was pretty good. We went there today and the food was absolutely horrible. We had specified that we would like our appetizer first and the the main meal. Both appies and main were delivered at the same time. The vegetables with the paneer tikka smelled off and the paneer was rubbery and not roasted well. The main had to be sent back as it was luke warm. While the main was being reheated, the naan went cold. We had also ordered the paneer naan and the onions tasted raw. The palak paneer was also not up to par. We understand the challenges restaurants are having during this time but food standards should not be affected. We realize there was only one server but there were only two tables to be served. We will definitely not be back.

Very Choi's service good price. Food is awesome recommended butter chicken is great naan bread perfect.
