Although there really isn't an equivalent for pain d'épice in English (gingerbread feels like a misnomer especially compared to the gingerbread Americans eat), this museum/factory offers quite an exciting look at how Mulot et Petitjean was founded and the process for making the bread.
There is an entry fee of 8€ into the museum, upon which you will enter an office room and listen to the history behind the family and the factory, then you'll explore the ingredients used in the process and discover the machinery and equipment, as well as peering inside the factory through glass windows. Upon exiting, there's a small tasting of different types of bread and of course, one can't help but buy some of the delicious bread to take home.
Overall, it was a lovely experience and the audioguide was quite informative. There are only 3 rooms, so it's not that large of a museum, but if you're in Dijon and want to head away from the bustle of the city, this is a very cool exhibit to check out.
