Gingerflower Boutique Hotel

check in with my wife for a 2 nights stay. Location is good as very close to Jonker street by walk. We spent most of our time walking around the streets exploring the cultural streets around it. Receptionist n service staffs are very polite, friendly and patient. Room is clean. As boutique hotel, nothing to ask for on Facilities. so , it is ok to us. for those who are driving will need a little navigation and the traffic there are quite heavy at times. however, once familiarise, it will be easy. Another good point is it there is reserve lot for parking which is essential if you drive in. Overall both my wife and i enjoy the hotel very much and will definitely consider returning to stay if we were to visit Melaka again.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean and cozy, ideal for a couple’s getaway. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a great experience and highly recommend.

The hotel is located in the Heritage district of Melaka, meaning that it is surrounded by some of the most interesting and prettiest buildings, including cafes and museums. It's close enough to easily get to tourist sites like Jonker Street and the Dutch Square, but far enough away that you don't have to worry about noise disturbing your rest. The inside of the hotel is so pretty. If we had stayed longer, we would have loved to have coffee in the lobby or the courtyard.Our room was absolutely perfect. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large and had great water pressure in the shower, and the bathrobes that were provided were lovely and fluffy. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Melaka.

Lovely little hotel in old house. very central but the street is quiet after any 11.30. Staff very welcoming, very clean. Thoroughly recommend and would stay here again.

Charming, Cozy, and Perfectly Located! My stay at Gingerflower Boutique Hotel was simply delightful! The hotel's charming heritage-style design makes you feel like you're stepping back in time while enjoying modern comforts. The rooms were cozy and beautifully decorated with traditional Peranakan details. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Jonker Street and other key attractions in Melaka. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a mix of culture, comfort, and convenience!

Excellent little hotel close to the centre of the main tourist area. Our room was compact but sufficiently well-appointed and everything was spotlessly clean.

Extra charge RM100. I booked at booking.com with only pay at property. But a day before the boutique charge me by my card before informed me. And after I stay a night check out. The money is not return by 7 days as the operator mentioned. And I called back and ask the property after 7 days, new operator told will credit to my account in 1-2 weeks. Now, 2 weeks past, still not refund yet. I have to call booking.com to check status and proceed refund to me. Besides of it, the property charges me SST RM17.00+ , told it just started by Melacca state government, but I check online. The SST charges was started since March. A cheating property to stay. A damn worst experience I tried in booking.com and any hotel property. By the way , the hotel only suitable for single person stay, due the toilet is half open concert. If your couple or family go pass motion, Whole room smelly.

Highly recommended for this hotel. I booked the only one Premier Deluxe Room with balcony, very nice Melaka River view. Room was very clean. And staffs all very friendly and helpful. But if you easy awake from noise or not easy to fall in sleep person, please choose other type room instead of this with balcony room, to be honest a bit noisy at night on peak season. Hotel have 2 parking lot behind hotel for customers, very convenient. Overall very satisfied we stay 3 days 2 nights in this hotel.
