The quality of the food is simply outstanding. The freshly fried satsuma-age is incredibly delicious, and the sashimi is amazingly fresh. The location is perfect, with a sand-steam bath nearby. Above all, the staff’s hospitality is flawless.

We love this hotel. It's a bit dated but overall condition is maintained very well. We especially appreciate the view, food, and ambiance here. Staff are all so kind and helpful. Dinner and breakfast provided in a independent room where they use onsen water to cook for you! Food is really provided in a very high quality that we always look forward to dinner and breakfast time! Hotel is very friendly with small kids as well. My kid loves the strolling map activity which he feels like treasure hunt game. Hotel also provides many spaces and facilities to have fun and relax~ Highly recommend for family~~~

Nice room with plenty of parking and english speaking staff. Would be great for first timers to Japan. Loved the views and the in room hot spring was so relaxing. There is also a public bath on the roof as well and that is definitely worth visiting. Food was quite innovative and enjoyable. The flying fish, fishcake was the best fish cake I had ever eaten in my life

Good food, good view, of course. Restaurant is immersively stylish. What's more impressive is the professional service and attitude of a staff, who was busy with serving many tables. Her performance is so stunning. I remember her name is マラ. Her serving the most favourite part of the dinner. Young girl staff at the reception is kinda amateur tho. When I asked them where can I send a postcard, please don't tell me "post office", instead, give me the address or direction.

Quiet getaway near the bay. Excellent dining experience in the hotel restaurant. We chose a nice traditional tatami room with a private hot bath onsen on our balcony. The hotel Onsens are very nice too.

The interior of the hotel is well maintained. Nice meals provided. The temp of the outdoor hot spring became low when it rained. Good value for money overall.

Last minute booking on the night before. Booking done through the phone and the staff was very helpful in getting a room for my family. It was raining when we arrived at dusk the next day. The ocean view room was great. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. Enjoyed the onsen at the roof top. Wanted to try the nearby Saraku Sand Bath but it was closed for renovation. The staff recommended another sand bath instead. Happy to have been able to try it.

I decided to rate it at 2 because of the first impression is disappointing. I rated it 4 because of OKAMI and food quality.||There was a typhoon in the south of Kyushu that day. It was windy and rainly in Ibusuki. We walked from Ibusuki station at 10:49 for around 20 mins because we decided to visit Chiran and catch the bus at 11:37. (The bus stop is near hotel). We spent some time on finding their entrance. We got all wet when we checked in. We storaged our wet backpack in the reception counter. However, nobody tried to give us towel or cared us in such a bad weather. Honestly, I was not feeling good that moment. The receptionist was less experienced. She could not remind us about the time we left because she did not know the Chiran bus schedule (it was only 3 times a day from Saraku Sand Bath Hall). I could not believe we missed the bus that day.||When we back from Chiran, we were all wet in the rain again. My friend said the staff greeted the japanese by serving towels and carrying their bags. She was isolated even though the staff granted at her.||Its famous 9/F outdoor onsen and sand bath nearby were closed. Therefore, I could not comment on it. OKAMI was professional and friendly. She always carried a smile. She was polite and detail minded. She updated us the sand bath was still not opened in the morning. A male staff who could english and a staff who called taxi for us were polite and friendly too. The food (dinner and breakfast) was beautiful and delicious. I regreted I do not bring my vacuum flask in this journey so that I could bring the soup and rice to home.
