We stumbled across this place and noticed a pretty decent line outside, so of course we took that as a sign to give it a try. The muscat mochi looked especially tempting, and we also grabbed one with red beans and another with mung beans.
Service was efficient, there were multiple attendants tending to customers and they spoke decent English, but you just need to point to the ones you want and tell them how many each. :)
There are pre-made and packed boxes for you to grab and pay as a gift as well.
The mochi itself was a bit too wet for my taste — yes, it was pillowy soft, but I still want a little chew, a little bounce. This was so soft it crossed over into mushy territory. The muscat filling wasn’t as sweet or flavorful as I expected either. Overall, it was just okay for me.
At least the line moved fast!
