First the awesome: the location is really good, a fun and pleasantly vibrant (maybe gritty) corner of Ginza, with Shimbashi station very nearby and just around the corner from all the shops and sights of the district.
There is a convenience store downstairs and, unusually, a stock of bathroom amenities in the reception so you can just help yourself.
The staff were really helpful, professional and discreet.
As for the rooms, bathrooms and the condition of the building, they’re fine - not the most luxurious or up-to-date, but our rate was set accordingly so we knew what to expect. If you’re after a decent and comfortable but not swanky hotel in a perfect area to explore Tokyo, and not too bothered by having a smart TV or a modern bathroom, this is a good option.
