15 Top International Restaurants

"A sensory-driven omakase led by a chef who follows the philosophy of flexible, unimpeded technique to reinvent classical Japanese flavors. Meticulous timing, carefully chosen tableware and traditional touches—like steam from an okudosan stove and the aroma of charcoal—frame delicately constructed courses that highlight purity of ingredient, from fresh tofu to a light-handed dashimaki tamago. The experience is designed to engage sight, smell, sound and taste in a refined, house-like setting." - Ksenia Prints

Exceptionally professional service and experience. Arguably the best breakfast/brunch experience one could receive unless one is not too into kaiseki style food. Enjoyed it much more than dinner kaisekis.

A restaurant that piles ingredients to cater to tourists. Due to our flight schedule, we made a reservation for 8 p.m. on the day of our meal, so by the time we started eating, other guests had already finished their meals or checked out. It felt like, since there were no other guests, the pace of serving food was noticeably faster. Also, we weren’t informed that we could understand Japanese, so the communication was primarily in English. The chef and the assistant communicated without any discretion, and during one of the dishes, the assistant told the chef that the grilled fish wasn’t cooked properly. The chef replied that if they poured the sauce over it, the customers wouldn’t notice. Furthermore, the rice pot was clearly undercooked; the surface lacked moisture and shine. Despite this, the assistant still presented it to the customer and served it in a bowl. Additionally, each person ordered three cups of tea, and there were multiple mistakes with that as well. To put it simply, the chef tried to cover sushi, grilling, and everything else, but it was all just an act to impress foreign tourists. In the end, the bill came to nearly ¥60,000 per person, and we have no idea how it was calculated. Suffice to say, we will not be returning.

Incredible dining experience we also did the sake pairing which added a beautiful extra touch. Cannot speak highly enough of this place and want to return to Tokyo one day just so we can come back here.

Amazing Japanese breakfast I ever had. Every dish is perfect and you can enjoy different kinds of authentic Japanese ingredients. Two kinds of rice unlimited to enjoy also with raw eggs or tea. Strongly recommend to try once in your life!

The best breakfast in Ginza! I have always loved Japanese breakfast but this place is taking it to the next level. You can feel how much effort the team put into making this dining experience great. A reservation in advance is a must but you won’t regret coming here. Also, make sure you arrive on time, as everyone will be served at the same time at the restaurant and there is a lady waiting for your arrival at the door.

First visited in Jan 2024 and revisited again in Nov 2024. The food was still as enjoyable as the first visit. The breakfast consists primarily of small bites meant to be enjoyed with superb Japanese rice - you can pick white or brown rice. They serve little by little and you can keep refilling, alternating btw the two. You can also request for TKG (raw egg on rice), or add katsuoboshi (bonito flakes), or ochazuke (tea rice), and they are all refillable. All in all, perhaps not the cup of tea for everyone in terms of breakfast food but it was great for me

At first I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do this traditional breakfast omakase, as I felt I experienced pretty great cuisine during my trip in Tokyo. However the service, quality of ingredients and the entire experience was exceptionally pleasant and so worth it! The traditional Japanese breakfast omakase was so unique to the usual meals we had during our stay in Japan, which I am grateful we got to experience to learn more about the culture and food. I am a huge tea person and loved that there were several different types of fresh juices and teas to try. On this trip, my partner and I fell in love with Warabi Mochi and were super delighted seeing the chef and assistants prefer fresh Warabi Mochi! I highly recommend everyone to try this once if and when in Tokyo.
