It's not typically my style to leave bad reviews, the whole "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all" thing. Unfortunately every once in awhile you just wish someone had warned you so, here I am.
I frequent sushi houses like Sapa, Takashi, and Tsunami but came here because the usual spots were closed for the day/night and we thought "why not try out a new place". I'm telling you, even for lower quality sushi this is low. The toppings on the rolls, the cut of the fish itself, the flavor profiles, etc. I ordered a single Executive Suite roll and ate 2 pieces before I began to feel sick, and at the risk of being that picky person, the lime on top had a really thick skin left on it that I had to pull out of my mouth instead of try to finish chewing. My boyfriend ate maybe half of his caterpillar roll, saying that more than anything else he could notice about it, it was just unappetizingly mushy. The fried jalapeño dish felt like chomping into a completely uncooked jalapeño with some sauces and cream cheese around it.
I'm telling you, they're nice people and I really hate to speak my negative opinions because every business deserves a fair shot, but save your money. I never thought I'd ever say this in my entire life but truly, in this case, no sushi would be better than this sushi.
I'm sorry to do this but, if I have to use the restroom within 10 minutes of eating food I think others deserve to know what they might be getting themselves into.
