Ginza Tenichi Main Store

Pay for luxury, you get luxury. We just got out of the restaurant around 10 mins ago. We got the small set! Shrimp substitutes were allowed. The service was fantastic. The food was so tasty. If you want to eat rice, make sure to ask to serve the rice with the apps. Didn’t get to take too many pics because the food was just so yummy. Atmosphere was warm but sophisticated. The dessert served with the set was very sweet. Overall you get what you pay for, and it was definitely worth it.

The price certainly reflects its luxurious status, starting at a minimum of JPY 16,000 per person. Despite the high cost, I highly recommend trying this restaurant at least once when visiting Ginza. The meal is served as a personal set menu, featuring 10 to 15 different tempura dishes, all freshly fried to perfection. The selection ranges from potatoes, various vegetables, shrimp, eel, to different meats. Each piece is golden and crispy, delivering an exquisite burst of flavor with every bite. What impressed me the most was the final dish of the set—a tempura donburi (rice bowl) paired with a delightful dessert of perfectly ripe melon. The combination of the crunchy, savory tempura with the sweetness of the melon provided a harmonious ending to the meal, making it one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had during my trip to Tokyo. The ambiance of Tenichi is elegant and refined, with a focus on providing a high-quality, intimate dining experience. The chef's meticulous attention to detail and skill is evident in every dish, ensuring that each guest enjoys the pinnacle of tempura cuisine. Overall, Tenichi is a must-visit for those looking to indulge in the finest tempura in Tokyo. Tenyu Tempura Main Store is a must-visit spot for food lovers! We went during Christmas, and our friend made a reservation about a month in advance. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and we loved every dish. The two chefs also detailed each ingredient, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. We all had a fantastic time, and we’ll be back!

My family and I always eat tempura omakase at Tenichi Ginza Main Store. It’s so delicious! The staff is friendly. Great experience! note : I choose 花 (hana) set for omakase lunch

Having the most memorable expeirences here. The foods are extremely nice, each dishes are just with very few portion(feels like, cuz too yummy) but after having all the dishes you will be full of Ichiban satisfy 大滿足！Every time go tokyo for travelling will have the tempura here.

High end tempura place where you can easily spend 25,000 yen per person total. Service was great and the experience sitting by the chef frying the course set menu was entertaining. I would say visit here once to get the tempura experience but not sure that I will be a repeat customer. We had tempura fried shrimp, oysters, crab, sea urchin, some kind of fish fillet, asparagus, onion, shrimp cake, eel, mushroom, scallops etc. Very plentiful course (17k odd yen for the course menu) and naturally some wine and beers. All tasted fairly good although I am not too much of a fan of sea urchin and I thought the oysters could have been better. All in all nice high end dining experience.

Had our first tempura meal in Tokyo. Upon arrival, we were seated in front of the chefs who were busy mixing tempura battery and frying ingredients in the oil. It was such a cool experience to see them in action. The tempuras were perfectly battered and even though it’s fried in oil, it never felt too oily. All the ingredients were so fresh and loved how you can get eat it immediately out the fryer.
