Giorgi's Blue Apartments

At the nth hour, my boyfriend and I needed accommodation for a few nights.||Giorgi was most hospitable and confirmed the booking promptly. Upon arrival he was very friendly, offering food, despite it already being late. We were also offered a lift to a nearby restaurant.||He had received another last-minute booking, so, based on availability, kindly upgraded our booking from a 1 bed apartment to a 2 bed apartment.||Giorgi's Blue Apartments are also described as being a hotel. In essence, today (there is indication that more meals were served historically) this is a comfortable aparthotel, with an inclusive breakfast. The breakfast caters for most needs, with breads, cereals, cheeses, meats and pastries, and excellent 'on tap' fresh orange juice.||The apartments are very clean, each coming with its own kitchenette, coffee-making facilities and microwave. The memory foam pillows and mattresses are very comfortable. Our cute balcony overlooked the swimming pool and bar and had a wonderful view of the sea.||The grounds are also very clean and so pretty with lots of colour from the well-maintained flora and fauna.||The lodging's 3 star grade is probably accurate. But the property is unique, coming with its own private access to the sea and peaceful bay. With only a short descent to clear waters, various sunloungers are strategically placed amongst the rocks, creating a tranquil haven.||The staff are very helpful and given the private bay access this property is highly recommended. Easy access to Chania airport (15 minute drive) and Konoupidiana for restaurants and supermarkets. A peaceful place on Akrotiri. ||We would definitely return to this lovely accommodation.||Thank you Giorgi for our wonderful stay 😀

Excellent stay in spacious apartment at well-priced Georgi's Blue. Pool area was pristine and I loved the sea ladder access on property and the clear water with lots of fish to enjoy while snorkeling. The room cleaning was thorough. We had a balcony overlooking the pool and facing west so we could enjoy the sunset every evening just the two of us. Bathroom was on the small side and the shower pan tended to fill and drain very slowly. Not a deal breaker, I think it just may be the nature of the plumbing system.

I would like to take the opportunity to describe our wonderful experience . It was a little bit random chance to find this location and I’m a little bit skeptical of places that have high reviews. Our stay for the week at the Georgi’s Blue Apartments was nothing short of amazing. The front desk staff as well as the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful and just plain do a great job. Our room was beautiful -fresh, beautiful paint and clean, and of course, the fabulous view that is better than a postcard. Everything about the property and location is perfect for starting point for island exploration, which we did, clean, very well planned, and beautiful designed grounds. The on-site pool is large enough to get a nice workout in daily and of course the lagoon has a safe ladder to enter down below on a calm day to snorkel ! We can’t wait to come back one day. The female bartender was very friendly and helpful. The lady at the front desk was great and helpful as well. Our room was clean and nice and modern. The view from our balcony was stunning with great sunset overlooking our pool. The whole resort was beautiful and only a short drive from the airport in Hanya. And a short drive to Hanya. We highly recommend staying at this location. The breakfast was the best we’ve seen at many of our stays at other hotels.

Our trip to Crete was a spontaneous adventure—we booked on a Tuesday afternoon and were on a flight the very next morning. With only four days to explore, we wanted to stay somewhere close to the airport, and thanks to the glowing reviews, choosing Giorgi’s was an easy decision. What we didn’t expect was just how much it would exceed our expectations.||The location, while a bit tucked away, was peaceful and incredibly charming. Despite its quiet setting, it only took about 15 minutes by taxi to reach the beautiful old harbour in Chania.||Our room was spacious and offered stunning views of the ocean and sunset—truly a highlight of our stay. A special bonus was the sunbeds set up on the cliffs right next to the hotel, with direct access to the sea via a small ladder. It felt like having our own private slice of the Mediterranean.||Everything was spotlessly clean, and the shared spaces were warm and inviting. The staff were outstanding, especially George and Annaelise, who made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived.||We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would love to return someday. It was the perfect escape.

The apartment we stay is spacious, bright, and very clean, with everything we needed — a bedroom, living room, balcony with the best view, air conditioning, and even a kitchenette, perfect if you want to cook at home. The staff, from reception to housekeeping, were so friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcome. The beach nearby is stunning, the amenities are great, and breakfast was good. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to come back! Recommend to get a car to go around the island (not the most pedestrian friendly) and to visit the best beaches around - the property has also an amazing small creek to access the sea with brilliant umbrellas and sun beds for you to relax if you want to stay in ( and the pool always very clean !) 10/10 !

Amazing location, friendly staff, good breakfast and very well kept property. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it ! Both for relaxation ( pool and sun chairs in the small cove down by the sea) also for exploring the area. Would recommend to rent a car. Annaliese is a very nice host and made us feel at home. The cleaning staff, the kitchen are also super nice, I honestly can’t tell anything negative about our experience. Thank you Giorgi’s team !

This place was one of our favourite places we stayed in the whole of Greece. It ticked all the boxes for us. The apartment was nicely renovated with a modern look. Plenty of space with gorgeous views of the ocean and sunsets magnificent!! Very romantic. Swimming pool awesome and a lovely little private ocean inlet with sun beds. Breakfasts beautiful. Our host Annelies was just amazing and made us feel right at home! Highly recommend this place.
