I debated posting this review, however after my most recent experience, including having my last message ignored and then being blocked on social media, I feel it’s important to share so others can make an informed shopping decision. Over several visits, I’ve consistently felt an unwelcoming atmosphere from both the owner and staff. Friends who have visited with me have also had a similar impression. Whether intentional or not, the interactions often come across as cold rather than friendly or customer focused. Most recently, I noticed a 10% discount advertised on their website for email sign-ups. When I reached out to ask about the code, I was told the promotion was no longer active and that it had been “annoying” to manage when it was offered. Since the promotion was still visible on their site, I felt it would have been reasonable to honour it and then remove it. Instead, the response came across as irritated that I even asked. I replied politely and let them know I would look elsewhere (after which I was blocked). I fully understand that small businesses are much more mindful of their margins. My choice not to purchase wasn’t about the money (I’ve bought several items here previously) but about the overall customer service experience. The products here are very nice, and I genuinely enjoy supporting local, but I won’t continue to shop somewhere I feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. Based on other reviews and some of the responses, it seems I’m not alone in my experience. I hope the owner can reflect on this feedback and make positive changes for future and returning customers.

Honestly really disappointed with this place. I bought a pair of shoes that were on sale, but accidentally grabbed the wrong colour. I’ll take that yes I should’ve checked they were the right shoes, but at the same time they were placed under the colour I had wanted. Went back not even 3 hours later asking if I could exchange them for the colour I wanted. The manager/owner was so dismissive and claimed that she never puts stuff on sale and made it seem like I should be grateful to get a pair of shoes for cheap. I understand they have a return/exchange policy, but instead of telling me that at the time of the sale and stamping the receipt, they wouldn’t even consider swapping them out. Will not be returning.

Absolutely love shopping at Girl + Friends Collective! The vibe of the store is welcoming, stylish, and thoughtfully curated. The staff are genuinely helpful without being pushy, and always take the time to make sure you find something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Amazing service today from the associates working. They were attentive, friendly, and even though they didn't have the items my sister was looking for. They provided a timeline and even a card to check out their social media for when the new drops land! 10/10

I’m started shopping here a little Over a year ago and it’s been a game changer. Just when I think I too old to be trendy the ladies are helping find new outfits that I feel amazing in. The helpfulness and positive vibe I get while shopping there makes my whole day. Now when I go out people ask where I shop!!! Dana the owner has created an amazing experience for her customers.

Bought a dress online because of all the fantastic reels. Sadly it didn’t fit when I picked up, but they showed me styles that I wouldn’t normally have considered and of course - I found the perfect dress and some perfume! Sales associates are absolutely amazing 💯! Thank You!

Such a great selection and they show you how to accessorize and level up your outfit!! ♥️♥️ this store is seriously my obsession! If you are going to stampede in July you have to go here first for the perfect outfit!

I went to Girl + Friends Collective for the first time yesterday for a dress I saw on their Instagram. From the moment I arrived it was such a positive experience. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to comment on what I was trying on. The store was full of great options and I’ll absolutely be a return customer! Highly recommend supporting this great local business.
