Absolutely loved our visit to Giro Bottega! We tried two veggie slices and the porchetta sandwich — you can really taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. The pizza was light yet full of flavour, and the sandwich was packed perfectly. Such a cozy spot for true Italian food lovers in Woodbridge. Will definitely be coming back! ❤️🇮🇹

Very good sandwiches but definitely not the best I've had. The dough for the sandwiches is pre-cooked but when it's retoasted, the bread is warm and crisp!! My favourite here would have to be the pancetta. It's so good! It's got great flavour whether it's on the pizza or the sandwich. The sandwiches, however, can use a little more filling but still good nevertheless. Definitely a gem. The seating is very limited though!

If you’re craving authentic Italian eats in Vaughan, this place is it! 🇮🇹 We got two vegetarian slices and a porchetta sandwich — everything was so fresh, flavourful, and perfectly made. The crust on the pizza was just right, and the sandwich tasted straight out of Italy. Definitely a must-visit if you love good pizza, panini, and genuine Italian vibes. 🍕✨

From the moment I walked in, the gentleman behind the counter was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He mentioned they had just finished making a fresh porchetta, so of course we went with that, along with a mortadella sandwich. Both sandwiches were outstanding. They take a few extra minutes because the bread is baked fresh for each order, and it shows. Warm, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and absolutely packed with flavour. The porchetta was perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the mortadella sandwich was just as impressive. I live in Ajax, but this is 100% worth the drive. I will absolutely be back for another sandwich. Highly recommended.

One of our favourite restaurants has always been Giro D’italia so when they opened a new bottega we were excited to try it out. Last year I had an amazing experience hosting my milestone birthday at Giro. Anna helped me organize it with the most fabulous food and it was a huge success. This year I hosted my party in my home and once again Anna assisted me with the catering menu from Giro Bottega. The food arrived and let me just say it was spectacular. The sandwiches are reminiscent of the ones we had last year in Florence, Italy. Fresh bread and the most delicious fillings. The pizzas were huge, delicious and the selections of toppings on each one were better than the next. Thank you again for making my special day so memorable. My family was so happy to have had the opportunity to sample this wonderful food as well!

Very fresh and delicious. The foccacia bread was really great which is used for their pizza and sandwiches. Tried both and i really enjoyed them. Wednesdays they have a meatball sandwich which i havent tried yet but the meatballs looked big! Had the Michaelangelo sandwich and it did not disappoint. Very in depth with a lot going on in an interesting and good way. Pizza wise the Diavola? was my favourite bc it had some kick to it. The other one was good too but not as memorable. Staff is more matter of fact but friendly enough. Seem to be pretty quick. Seating was one picnic table and it seems it goes out front when weather permits. Picked up couple pizza slices for my brother in law an Italian sous chef and he noted his pizzas were good. Online ordering was easy but note around 50 cent service fee added but it was helpful when picking up as they had 8 people ahead of me but after a min i got my sandwich handed to me and off i went. Sizes are not the biggest ive seen but sufficient. Pizza slices which cannot be preordered online range from 5 to 5.75 and sandwiches if i recall 16 to 19. I will go back to Giro thats for sure bc they do not offer all of their pizza in slices. They change it up each day but i believe they offer 6 to 8 at a time? Can't remember exactly sorry. Food quality is excellent service is good...could have a warmer touch but still good service and they are pretty quick so far as I saw. 4.5 stars so i rounded up bc of how clean and bright it was inside. Its a young outfit but looks like they care enough to upkeep a great business. Good for you guys and keep it up. Oh they were open since Dec 2024 and online purchases give you points but i did not look into that yet so cant speak on what its about yet.

If the line up doesn’t say it, let the food do the talking. One of the top sandwich spots in Woodbridge. The bread comes out steaming, the ingredients are fresh and the service is great. I’ve had the Michelangelo two days in a row. I’m tempted to go again. It’s that good. A must try.

Rest assured that the sandwich itself was excellent. The downfall of these viral sandwich places is that they often don't live up to the hype because influencers are paid (or requested) to give them praising reviews. This place makes a wonderful sandwich if you like their bread/variety; however, they only have 5 kinds of sandwiches and don't let you add anything (e.g. peppers). I would have paid more for some toppings if that was an option even though it was $1-3 overpriced. Also, it has a cumbersome design as there's not enough seating with only two picnic tables on the inside but a massive prep area.
