Oh my goodness the soup is so so tasty! I can honestly say this soup is the best meal I’ve had in Iceland! The flavour is dreamy and so much fish! Oh and it comes with bread, salad, and coffee/tea! The bread is fresh and moist and so flavourful! You can go back for seconds and even thirds! We went right after whale watching and it was the perfect way to warm up! The staff are very friendly!

Everything was very very good, especially the service and hospitality. Amazing interior and old fashioned, but clean. The fish soup was delicious, a little bit more soup would be perfekt. We recommend this tiny caffee honestly.

Best of the best! Fish soup was flavourful and the homemade bread was fantastic. I went back for seconds. My group had people buy their cakes too and everyone raved about them. Your order of fish soup comes with salad, bread, croutons, and fresh coffee all served on beautiful plates. Do check out the theatre on the ground floor, and enjoy all the fun knick knacks decorating this cozy spot. The owners’ mother knits the gorgeous icelandic wool sweaters you see by the entrance. All available for purchase. Service is wonderful and friendly staff explain how the meal experience goes. Not to be missed!!!

This place was phenomenal - from it's deliciously balanced fish soup to it's vintage and homely decor to it's warm and welcoming customer service. It was the best meal we had in Iceland and filled up not only our bellies, but also our hearts. I would recommend coming here to anyone looking for something special and memorable. PS the home made chocolate cake was absolutely divine - don't miss it!

We had accidental pit stop in here before closing. Absolute pearl of a place! Service was so sweet and food amazing. My mother had fish soup and beer bread and said that it was incredible. We will definitely come back soon to try out the rest of the menu. Decorations are so cute too, I mean the attention to the detail is amazing. Definitely worth detour from Akureyri, because there was no good food in there.
