If you are looking for a truly special place to stay, this guest house is an absolute gem. The owners, Kitty and Georg, are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about their guests’ comfort. They create such a warm and friendly atmosphere that you immediately feel at home. Their five-year-old son, Valentino, is a real art talent and brings even more charm to the place. The rooms are clean, cozy, and pleasantly warm, perfect after a long day of exploring. The house is very well equipped with everything you might need, including a fridge, coffee machine, and microwave, making your stay both comfortable and convenient. And if you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the breathtaking Aurora Borealis lighting up the sky. A wonderful experience from start to finish!

We stayed a couple of nights here as we explored further along the south coast, a good location at a price that is affordable by Icelandic standards!|We never met the host but everything was explained in advance and we had a really nice stop, it would be quite cosy if it was full, we had about 4of 8 rooms worth of guests there. Breakfast was basic with cereal and yogurt and some milk provided also for tea/coffee. Cooking your own evening meals with just a microwave worked fine for us and others too. Rooms were clean and bathroom also. Sharing worked well while we were there. This seems to give it a hostel feeling which if you are used to that then it's fine. A few comfy chairs and dining chairs to relax into. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice guesthouse, incredibly clean, and has cute and cozy decoration. The room was a bit small but we didn't really need more. There are two bathrooms available with showers and I never had to wait to use them. The owners are very nice and friendly. There's also breakfast available including cereal, muesli, milk, yogurt, cookies, tea, and coffee.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! I’m giving it a solid 5/5. The place is incredibly clean and beautifully maintained. The room felt so cozy and full of love, it truly made me feel at home. Breakfast was a wonderful bonus, with milk and oatmeal available to start the day right. The shared bathrooms were well-kept, with one offering a separate toilet and shower for convenience. The host was incredibly enthusiastic and even kept us updated on the aurora in real time, which was such a special touch! Overall, this is by far the cleanest place I've stayed in outside of my own home. Highly recommend it!

We had really pleasant stay! Thanks to the host warm welcome and lovely room. 🌈 We booked for 2 single bedroom, the size is ok. The bed is so comfortable we had good rest and energy for the upcoming activities.😊 The kitchen and restroom are both very tide and clean. We were the only guest during our stay. They also provide milk, yogurt, cereal, coffee and tea. I think the cost is very worth for its quality 💖 will definitely recommend for it!!

This was the first of out guesthouse stays in Iceland as we travelled the Ring Road. Of course, you never know quite what to expect with private rentals but the Spoi Guesthouse set the tone for a wonderful experience throughout our entire trip. Iceland's Guesthouses are very well done and a wonderful way to explore the country on a reasonable budget. Spoi offered a comfortable stay with all of the ammenities we needed including milk and yogurt for breakfast (so helpful! Thank you!). The bedroom was spacious and the beds very comfortable. This guesthouse has a good deal of common space including a large shared kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy making the stay inviting and comfortable. We have been back in the US for a week now and Ive already recommended this location to friends traveling to Iceland next summer. Note that Spoi guests receive a 10% discount at the pizza restaurant across the street. Warmly recommended for others traveling to Southern Iceland.

Very clean, tidy guest house! The communal spaces are spacious, the kitchen is equipped with everything! Everything is easy to reach from here, and there is also an excellent pizzeria opposite, a swimming pool and a shop nearby. The hosts are really willing to help and explain everything! I recommend it to everyone who is looking for accommodation in this area!
