Extremely friendly and caring owners, that went above and beyond to make our stay great. We came by motorbike, for which they organized a safe place to store them as there wasn't a dedicated spot at the B&B. Also all our packed luggage was soaked because of heavy rain. The owner dryed everything that same evening for us, so we had dry clothes to explore the next day. Within 2 min of walking you get to the main square where you can find some shops, restaurants and bars. Most of the places close around 11pm unfortunately. However, every evening we could grab a drink from the selfservice bar and enjoy some more hours outside at the B&B terras. In the morning you can enjoy breakfast with a view. All in all, highly recommend!

We stayed for a week in August. Dined twice, because food was so good the first time. Breakfast is plentiful. There is an honesty bar in the dinning room / guest area, all drinks are chilled, soft, wine and Belgium beers. This was very welcome during our visit coinciding with a heatwave.||View from our room across to woodland one way and the town and castle the other. The castle makes a spectacular backdrop to the town. Caroline is an excellent host and the dog is daft and charming. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for us.||Storage for our Kayaks was a benefit, could be used for cycles.||Walk to town square, 400m. Numerous restaurants here, not far over the river to Spar.||No other British people that we noticed. A lot of people spoke English, even if a little, refreshingly some spoke none.||La Roche en Ardenne is an interesting place, attractive, historical and sporty.

We stayed for 2 nights and would highly recommend Villa Le Monde. Not only is it a great B+B but it also has great communal areas, bar and a balcony. We usually stay in hostels as we like being able to relax in the lounge areas rather than be confined to your room but this was like the best of both worlds! We had the Jack Johnson room which was gorgeous with amazing views over the town and castle. Breakfast was probably the best we had in Belgium- huge amouts of food- croissants, bread, jams, cheese, meats... lovely! Even fried eggs on our second morning which is a rarity in Belgium! Hosts very friendly and helpful. Free wi-fi an added bonus!

We traveled to Ardenne from the Netherlands for a two-night getaway, and really enjoyed our stay. The couple that run it are very nice and more than happy to help you out with any local info or just to have a chat. The nights were quiet and we felt well rested in the mornings. They are happy to provide info on local activities such as indoor or outdoor activities depending on your mood and the weather! Serge gave us a map and pointed out a couple of trails which we could walk, which we spent a day doing, and really enjoyed. The beds are comfortable, the rooms/facilities are great (including WiFi), and the included breakfast is very nice. Would love to come back and spend some more time here when we get the chance.

The owners of this B&B are a very easy going couple with 2 daughters. They know very much about the area and are very willing to help you with any kind of excursion, they are very entertaining, will organize all kind of activities inside or outside the house and will serve you a tasty breakfast. ||The area is great for mountainbiking, walking and other outdoor activities. ||The B&B is just outside the small but touristic town of La Roche de Ardennes and has a great view on the Medieval castle. The rooms do have all a particular theme, are very comfortable, spotless and with great views. Wifi is available and all rooms do have a small tv. I absolutely recommend this B&B for people who love to do all kind of outdoor activities.

We were warmly welcomed by the hosts (a Dutch couple with 2 young daughters) at our arrival and were invited to join them for a drink on the terrace. This brings me to the first big plus of this B&B: the location. It's only a couple of hundreds of meters from the city center, yet it's pretty quiet and at the same time you can see the city center and the castle from one of the 2 terraces this place has. ||Another plus is they do have a limited menu available (dishes are basic but well prepared), so even though there are some places downtown, if you're lazy you can simply enjoy dinner at their place.||The room was ok, not too small, not too large but tidy. The biggest plus are the roller shutters on all windows, which can make the room completely dark (I'm used to sleep in complete darkness). The bathroom is spacious, but the shower could do with a little flow increase. The minus is the room and bathroom were only separated by means of a swing door. ||Breakfast was not breathtaking, but it's satisfying. There were freshly boiled eggs and the orange juice was fresh too. ||In all, it's a great place to stay for a couple of days if you're in the region.

My friend and I stayed in Villa le Monde for two nights, and had a great time. Caroline was very welcoming and her charming Labrador was too! The area was great for hiking and we swam in the river too. There's loads to do for everyone, from mountain biking through to kayaking, and Caroline was always willing to give us some helpful advice about where to go. We would definitely come back!

We spent 2 nights in September at Villa LeMonde in the "Cocoon Jack Johnson" room. Clean, comfortable room with fantastic views of the town! Caroline was a perfect host, and dog Laika was such a sweetie....great for those of us travelers who miss our own pets at home. :) Great value for the money, too!
